Staff aren't knowledgeable on what they sale. Came in for a pice of pipe and they couldn't even tell me what type of activator to use.

I was told the refrigerator would be available in two weeks and delivered two days later on Friday August 21, Thursday I reached out to confirm what time they would be delivering and the sales person basically laughed and said something about their Wi-Fi being down. Stated Sorry your refrigerator is not going to be delivered on Friday. I had taken the day off so I could be here. He stated he could have it delivered the following Tuesday. I was going out of town for the week, I asked for a callback did not receive one, left a message saying I just wanted my money refunded and to cancel my delivery. Did not receive a call back, called four more times and finally got a call back from a customer service person in Florida; so much for Local small business. Finally Friday afternoon at four they stated they would refund my money and 7 to 10 days. I asked for confirmation number or email so I proof the order had been canceled and they refused. I will never use this company again.

One day I walked in the store on 4th Ave browsing. I was greeted by a very cordial and enthusiastic employee. His name is John Kang. During our chat I mindlessly mentioned about the knobs. Right away he asked me for the related information. I called John the next morning. John just took less than a minute on the phone and said he'd sent me a link. Gratifyingly, I got the items right away with merely $15! Mr. Kang's proficiency in computer knowledge, even all the more celebrated by his genuine desire to help a stranger, is a textbook exemplary for superb customer service! After I received the items, I visited John's store to thank him personally. While in the store, John was able to use his outstanding salesmanship to sell me a mattress and a stand. The sale would not have been possible if not for John's kindness and unconditional will to help a stranger during the previous visit. The last appliance I bought from them is a Speed Queen washing machine a few years ago. For the last 9 months It has been omitting a strong, unpleasant musty smell. I have tried several "rinses"-baking soda, bleach, vinegar and a combination of a few of those things recommended by the customer service representative, the appliance repair technician, and recommendations found on the internet. The washing machine was still under warranty when I reached out to both the manager, Eric, and the customer service representative, Jason, at Albert Lee Appliance. Albert Lee Appliance sent Be Tech Appliance Repair to my house 2X and did not offer much advice or make an effort to clean or properly diagnose the reason for the odor. The last recommendation from Jason was to do a wash with Tang! He claimed the citric acid (or maybe it was the sugar) in the Tang will get rid of the smell. I used citric acid (for canning) and that has made the most difference in lessening the bad odor. Although less, it is still present. It is obvious that both Speed Queen and Albert Lee Appliance are not planning on honoring the 3 year warranty of the machine. I haven't heard back from them in over a month. It's been frustrating because they seem to be using a "delay" technique (try this and that, now we'll send the repair technician to your house again, now try this, try that and hopefully you won't call us back). I feel the right decision for them is to either pay for the professional cleaning of the machine or give me a new one. Since this is unlikely to happen what's the point in buying "high end" when both the company who sells the product and the manufacturer won't honor the warranty with a faulty product? I'm done with Albert Lee Appliance. I am taking my business elsewhere.

I wanted to find a place in the Seattle area that had these in stock since I was worried about time constraints in shipping. I called the Boos company directly, and they told me to try contacting Bargreen Ellingson and Sur la Table for locations in my area that carried their stock. I called Sur la Table, but they did not have the cutting board I was looking for since it was a custom order item. Next, I called Bargreen Ellingson. I was directed to a customer service rep. The rep informed me that they did not have them in stock, but they could place an order for me. They said it would take 7-10 business days to arrive, and shipping would be $35.95 for ground shipping to come to my home, or $34 to arrive at the store. I complained that I could get it through Amazon for free shipping, but Amazon's site said it would take up to 4 weeks to arrive. So, I decided to go with Bargreen Ellingson. After discussing the price with the rep, I was immensely pleased! Their price was about $90 cheaper than Amazon! Sure, I had to pay for the shipping, but it was still much cheaper! Frankly, I was skeptical about the price because it seemed too good to be true. I got that "aroo?" look on my face and quizzed her to verify she was talking about the same cutting board I was talking about. I couldn't believe it. I asked how that could *possibly* be the right price, and she said: "Well, we buy these things in bulk, so we get a pretty good discount." No exaggeration there, sister! Ultimately the rep offered the shipping to my home for the store rate - $34, so I was a very happy camper. About 15-20 minutes after placing my order, I received a call back from the rep. She was very apologetic and said the item was a custom order item, and would take 4 weeks plus shipping time. She wanted to know if it was okay to proceed with the order, and I told her it was fine. It was a little disappointing that I would have to wait that much longer, but it was somewhat to be expected since Amazon had the same disclaimer. Seven days after placing my order, it arrived! 4 week, schmore weeks. Pfft. It was just as promised, and $60 cheaper than any place I could find online! All in all: great service, great prices, exceeded expectations = WIN! You gained a big, big fan, Bargreen Ellingson!

During installation, the installer did not know the dryer required a water connection for its steam/sanitize functions. After I asked about the steamer, he retrieved a hose from his truck and installed it. There was no apparent supervision or inspection. On June 7, before the dryer had ever been used, the hose connection failed and sprayed water throughout my second-floor laundry room. Water spread through the laundry room and into the main floor below, including through light fixtures, causing significant water damage and buckling floors. I reported the incident to Albert Lee June 8. Although customer service said the matter was being forwarded to a "team," no one from Albert Lee ever came to my home, inspected the damage, or apologized. Representatives from the installation company instead photographed the damage and questioned whether I had touched the hose. I had never used the dryer or touched the connection. I was also told a different type of hose should have been used. Due to the delay, I contacted my own insurance company. Professional mitigation was required, including removal of drywall and flooring and five days of drying equipment. Mitigation costs exceeded $8,000, and restoration is currently estimated at approximately $30,000. I later contacted Albert Lee myself about replacing the dryer. When they finally delivered a replacement, it was visibly damaged and I refused it. Their installers also initially did not know about the flooding or that my washer needed to be reconnected. One installer apologized, which was the first apology I received. Albert Lee sold me both the appliance and installation and should take responsibility for the contractor it hired. Albert Lee should have taken responsibility, provided a meaningful resolution, and refunded the approximately $700 I paid for the dryer as a good-faith gesture given the $30,000 in resulting property damage and the inadequate response to this incident. Do NOT EVER buy from them.
