We booked a 20' truck for a 8 hour window 3 days in advance. We received multiple confirmation…read moreemail and texts that said we could pick the truck up using the mobile app anytime. At 9 pm the night before we received a text this vehicle was not available for early pickup. This negatively impacted our plans. Upon pick up of the vehicle right off the bat the brakes felt very very bad. About a mile down the road the brakes started to grind and the pedal pulsate. Once the truck was loaded it was almost impossible to stop without being in tow haul mode. Thank you Jesus we only had 10 miles to drive and the truck was only at 1/2 capacity. I told the very nice gentleman helping us If someone were to drive that over the grapevine they would be on a suicide mission. Don't put your life in danger find a more reputable U-Haul Location. The owner or GM of this location is running a sloppy undermanned store. 2 employees having to do it all. That's not fair to them or your customers. The showroom was about 90 degrees and the lot is full of debris and trash. The 2 employees providing customer service at pick up and drop off were very nice and helpful.

The retractable post that holds up the trailer has a pin in the post that gets in the way of fully lowering down onto the hitch. I called Ryan who books the trailers, told him of the issue, sent a picture and he starts telling me to try one of the other trailers, but each is configured the same way. The instructions sent by Roadmoto the day before had nothing about a needed minimum height for the hitch ball in order to be able to use their trailer. I drove an hour to pick up the trailer, couldn't use it. They had already taken $200 deposit and $875 for the week I had booked. I obviously couldn't use the trailer/service, their instructions were not accurate, they wasted half my day and when I asked for a reimbursement they said, "its against our policy to reimburse". I am now fighting the charges with my credit card company. Roadmoto is not an ethical business and they cannot be trusted, they waste your time and try to steal your money.

So in addition to the cost of the trailer rental I had to come out of pocket for another $150. when I asked to be reimbursed, they just ignored me. Customer service is pretty good, Trailer Rental is not worth the money. There are other options instead of dealing with these people.

Had a reservation for a one way trailer. We showed up to other location and they were about to close but we were able to get our trailer. I was informed that when i got to my destination to call and find out where i can drop off the U-Haul trailer because system at the time was not giving them a specific location. When we were ready to drop off trailer i called and found a place, dropped off, and all they said was that i can leave and they will send a text to confirm drop off. Well they charged us for drop off. I was never informed that there was going to be a charge. Very bad service all around. I called customer service to dispute drop off charge and they said i had to drop off trailer to the location stated on paper. I did explain what i was told and i did tell them that no one informed me of any charge for being dropped off at another location. Customer service also said that i got some kind of discount that i was not aware of. Again all customer service is not helpful or informative at all. Very bad service.
