I will never come here again, I came here with my plumber to purchases things for repiping my house, and there is 1 short chunky guy that is the 2nd cashier from the front door, he is so dang slow and rude, 1st I can we are buying things, he is so slow like he dont want to be there, 2nd time I came I had to return an item, I was 1st and only 1 in line, and this same guy seen me in line and said I will be back, he was gone about 15mins no lie, I stood in line just waiting, for him to come back. A Tankless Install Experience. Ferguson Saves the DAY! I order most jobs online because it seems cheaper and easier. An online order from another company the Tankless WH. didn't arrive today as scheduled and an email indicated it wouldn't arrive until after X-mas. The issue is we took out the old water heater and installed the vent system for the new one and setup the plumbing etc for it yesterday. So no HOT water for the holidays or find the exact fit local. Called EVERYONE! THANK GOD for Ferguson in Pomona. They cut me the right price on a better model that Fit the venting and the spot. Called at 8:00 A.M. and paid on phone with Credit Card after maybe 5 minutes of lookup and selection of the exact product. 3 minutes later an email with my will call order pickup information arrived. Got to the location took about 3 minutes to actually find the Plumbing counter. Hint!! it's through the delivery yard area and round back of the giant building. There is a special desk for order pickup. My item was sitting right there ready to go. Signed and pickup invoice threw it in the Truck and got to the job earlier than had I waited for the Online order to come UPS... Except it got cancelled. But whatever I Digress. THANK YOU FERGUSON!! Installed and Cranking out 120 Degree Water All day long!!! BTW it was $150 cheaper out the door than the online product of a similar part number from a Big Box Store. read more

If you're not a contractor...stick to Home Depot. I drove down to this supply store to purchase a dual run capacitor for my central air unit last week. The condenser unit fan would not kick on because it needed a new capacitor. It's a $10 part (actually $7.72 at Home Depot...shipped). The guy behind the counter offered no assistance while he chatted up a contractor about their glory days. I looked for the Dual Run Caps on the shelves, and could not locate the part I needed. I walked up to the counter and waited for the employee behind the counter to finish his conversation. The Heating and Air contractor started to walk out. I asked the guy behind the counter for a dual run capacitor and he said he would not sell me one without a contractor's license. He recommended I ask the guy he just spent the last 10 minutes talking up to buy one on my behalf and sell it to me in the parking lot. Weird? Yes. I asked him how much the part would cost before I even bugged the guy, and he said...and I quote, "I don't know. $50.00." Think about that ladies and gentlemen. "I don't know. $50.00." I laughed at the guy and said forget it. I ordered the part on HomeDepot.com (they don't stock them in the store...so you have to use the ship to store option and wait a few days). The guy didn't even ask me what the specs were on my capacitor yet he quoted me $50.00??? Why would one need a license to purchase an $8.00 basic dual run capacitor that you can purchase at Home Depot ACROSS THE STREET? Great business model Air Cold Supply. I asked a Heating & Air guy that I saw outside of Home Depot to sell me one if he had it in his van. He said he would for $100.00. Notice a trend here? These guys are clowns. They try to justify marking up parts based on the cost of their license, gas, red bull addiction, blah blah blah. Do yourself a favor. Look up troubleshooting a condenser unit fan motor, contactor, and capacitor online to save yourself HUNDREDS of dollars for literally...10 minutes of work...and that includes washing your hands after you're done. These are really BASIC parts that a quick google search will allow you to quickly, efficiently, and safely change out the parts yourself. $50.00...for a capacitor. Hilarious!!! They must stock Flux-Capacitors. 1 star for a huge lack of customer service, a ridiculous policy, and outrageous prices. read more

Not a lot of options for bath and kitchen faucets/showers...mostly appliances. Prices are good but everything is final sale. Top notch customer service. I didn't get the names of the two dudes who helped me but they went out of their way to help me find solutions for a faucet that I purchased elsewhere. read more

This used to be the place you went to get anything, and even though it's a massive warehouse, it would only take 15 minutes to pull your order. Last 2 years I've had to wait anywhere from minimum 30 minutes to well over and hour. I'm usually on the clock or after work, so this is very frustrating. This place is absolutely ridiculous! First, just to find the store front is a task. Then, unless you have half an hour to burn just waiting in line to get help, avoid this store at all cost. To make matters worse, the desk guys have this really lax demeanor as if there isn't a line with 6 or 7 people waiting. Its all well and good that Ferguson Plumbing Enterprise, Inc has the time to setup an Facebook account, but when you walk up to the counter to purchase your items and you ask if they give a Military Discount and you are told quite boldly, NO. The cashier that was working with me I asked, he wasn't sure so he turned to the person that was training him was the person that said NO. His name plate said his name was BOB and he was from Santa Ana office. If there was a "NEGATIVE STAR" I would used it. When I needed help, Rod was on hand to put me at ease with jokes. He also knows his element. I was appreciative of the help. We bought some schedule 80 pvc 2" ball valve at $175 each and other materials. My total out the door was over $800. I was so expensive. I found a ball valve at same specification at Home Depot at $41.59 each. I felt so ripped off. That day work was so hard to earn money!! read more

I am so happy to give this store 5 stars as there is an employee there that was a savior in my experience in my remodel. If you have ever remodeled you know that it takes a lot of work to pick out, order and coordinate all the aspects in the project. There is bound to be some slip ups along the way. Mr. David Contreras was that one who helped me straighten out and get my project up and running again. My contractor MFR Construction in Redondo Beach recommended Ferguson's for that reason and he was so right. I have been searching for a deep soaking tub for weeks and have been stumped at the number of companies that say theirs are 'deep soakers' when they barely hold enough water level below the overflow drain to qualify.
