This review is for Johanna...she is amazing. We are doing a remodel two bathrooms in our vacation condo in Santa Barbara from afar and we needed a one stop shop, high level customer place for purchase all the associated fixtures. We were able to set up dedicated appointments with Johanna to look at items in both Ferguson's large showroom and in multiple special order catalogs, create project orders online that we could share with our contractor, and place one large order for all the items we needed when we were ready. We've also been able to follow up with her with a few tweaks that we have needed to make and she has always responded promptly. We aren't done with our project yet, but so far, we give our experience with Johanna at FergusonSanta Barbara six stars if we could. **Note: if you are looking for Home Depot prices (we saw some comments about that in some other reviews), don't expect that. They do carry some standard brands (Kohler, Delta, etc.), but also higher end lines as well (for sure, they have lighting fixtures that you do not see at hardware stores). We didn't directly price match, but I imagine everything is marked up a bit to pay for the higher level of customer service you receive...something my husband & I found well worth it! read more

I wasn't familiar with Ferguson's and I'm so happy I discovered them in Santa Barbara. One salesperson in particular, Devin Navarra, was extremely helpful to me. When Home Depot literally lost the sink I'd ordered after I'd already hired someone to install it, Devon came through and found me a comparable (and actually better) sink that arrived the next day. He helped me choose the best faucet for my price range, he matched a competitor's price for a dishwasher, and he answered emails and calls promptly. He was always helpful and personable, and I felt the same way about the other employees I encountered. It's also a very nicely designed store, and I recommend visiting it, especially if you just want to browse without being pressured. read more

If you decide to use Ferguson Enterprises for any of your plumbing or lighting needs be ready to get frustrated. We went to the Ferguson Showroom in Santa Barbara on the recommendation of a friend and were impressed with the presentation and selection. That unfortunately was the only thing that impressed us or our friend. An associate helped us put together the items that we needed for our master bath remodel with a reasonable delivery schedule. Scheduled delivery dates came and went and the associate never returned any of my phone messages or emails. I had to resort to relying on whoever happened to answer the phone to give me updates on my order. I finally had to cancel a couple of the items that nobody seemed to have any idea when they might arrive. The last of our order was delivered over 5 weeks after promised. If you're ordering from Ferguson's give yourself plenty of time to spare so your project isn't delayed waiting for fixtures to come in. read more

Terrible customer service! We wanted to order a $$$$ Wolf oven range and it was impossible to place the order. I was on hold for over an hour (the holding music is screechy and intolerable if you need to listen to it for such a long time - was promised by someone they would call me back by the end of the day to finalize the order, which did not happen. The original show room associate never got back to me, either, about the order. I will order somewhere else and never again from Ferguson's! read more

I am including an update to my previous review in 2014 based on a branch manager reaching out to me regarding my complaint. She clarified information regarding their policies. I'm including her message here in quotes and leaving out her contact number. She reached out to me in 2015 and my review was initially in 2014. Also my secondary negative experience was with the employee who initially was nice, informative, and helpful. But turned nasty once I didn't get something that would make her stand out and look good. So that left me never wanting to go back and deal with her two faced unprofessionalism. Hopefully by now she has either moved on, no longer working there, or the managers have retrained her on her client treatment behavior. Enclosed below is the branch manager's clarification on their return policies as of 2015. "just reading your Yelp review of us from last year. We absolutely have a return policy and i am sorry if you were given the wrong information. Depends on what the product is and where we bought it from. There is usually a restocking fee from the vendor that we may or may not pass on, depending on if you have a replacement order. Appliances are not returnable unless of course damaged or shipped incorrectly. If there is a defect of some sort, a service call must be made first. Restock fees range from 10%-35% for the most part. Nice showroom and knowledgeable staff BUT over-priced and terrible service. I had a warranty issue on a faucet I purchased and was given a complete run-around. Went down to Ferguson Bath & Kitchen Gallery this morning to look at pendant lighting for my kitchen remodel. First off, they asked me if I had an appointment - uhm, no. I wasn't aware that a lighting store took reservations. Then I got a feel for the kind of clientele they were looking for. It wasn't me - I only wanted to spend between $300.00 to $450.00. The woman just shook her head and said that the lights she was showing me started at $500.00 each. These are Mini Pendant lights for a kitchen island. When I went home and looked online - lo and behold - they have pendant lights starting at $30.00!! I guess the saleslady just didn't want to take up her time with poor old me! If Ferguson is going to advertise on TV, I suggest you get used to the common folk coming in to see what you have! It is Home Depot or OSH for me from now on! 2 Stars because the lady at the front desk was very nice and they do have some beautiful appliances. read more

We just redid our entire master bathroom down to the studs and Kimberly at Fergueson was excellent about working with us to ensure we found exactly the right trim, sinks, toilet, bidet, towel warmer, faucets, knobs and pulls. She was patient, kind, efficient and effective. I own a sales company and would hire her because she looks out for the clients' best interests. read more

This is for the Santa Barbara location. I placed a plumbing/ fixture order with the salesman and was told it would arrive in 3 days. A week later it had not arrived & my plumber had to be rescheduled. I went elsewhere to buy the merchandise. After several calls to Ferguson's, I was finally told that "the wharehouse" had not shipped my order. Good thing I had gone elsewhere as a back up! A courtesy call would have been nice. But then to get a refund, my order had to be "processed and approved" by Ferguson's for a credit, and it took several calls over several days (that were never returned by the Kenny the salesman) and emails to get a confirmation of my refund. Oh, and to top it off, I was able to get the exact same fixtures at another site for less $. Never again for me. read more

This review is about the Santa Barbara store. My experience: no one comes say hello in the showroom (which is a nice one in my opinion), you have to ask for help. The items I placed twice arrived late twice. Sale guys would not return my phone calls or emails. Finally, they also ordered the wrong plumbing parts. Remodeling has been delayed a lot. I am not happy... I also wanted to return a vanity light I bought there, but the external cardboard box was missing. It was hard. I was ok with a stocking fee, but at first they would not take it back at all (all other packaging was there, I didn't even opened it). read more

I purchased a sink, a garbage disposal and a water filter from Michelle about a year ago and could not be happier with my appliances. Michelle showed me the different styles, materials, and pricing and explained the pros and cons of each. After I placed the order, I realized one of the parts no longer fit because my granite was cut different from the original order. She helped me return a product and get a full refund. Because we were pleased with Ferguson's for our kitchen remodel, we returned last month when we needed to replace our 46 year old sinks and faucets. Our experiences dealing with Shauna, Jeff and Robert was even more satisfying, so much so that we wrote to Shauna's supervisor to recognize the excellent customer service we had experienced. One of the new faucets leaked, and instead of having to wait 1 to 2 weeks for the manufacturer to replace it under warranty, Shauna arranged for a replacement the next day. Like other suppliers, Ferguson has all the great products, but only Ferguson has Shauna, Jeff and Robert. read more

I had a warranty issue with G.E. regarding a downdraft and had been given the run around for months by the warranty company. By then, completely frustrated, I contacted the Ferguson showroom in Santa Barbara and spoke with their manager, Shauna C. Ellis, to see if Ferguson could provide help in expediting our warranty claim. Shauna was extremely professional, she expressed genuine concern and she promised to resolve the issue. She provided me with regular updates on her progress, she coordinated the scheduling of the repair, and made numerous phone calls to the repair center to ensure that the repairs were completed. I am extremely impressed with the level of service provided by Ms. Ellis and I would happily recommend her to anyone. read more

Worst experience ever and this is our THIRD remodel!! We went in on a Thursday for a meeting our interior designer set up with Vanessa. We didn't pick out certain items because the wait time was too long. We were told two business day shipping on everything. At the end of the meeting she got distracted with another customer, left us hanging and we actually had to go outside and find her to ask if we were done. The following Monday we called to check on our order: not only did she not return the 4 phone calls we made, it took our interior designer calling and putting her foot down to give us answers, in fact; we didn't hear back from Vanessa our designer relayed that there was now a 60-90 day wait time for our tub...appalled we immediately called this woman again...twice....she waited until the end of the day to call back to speak with us and let us know that not only may it be that long but she had no idea where anything else was AND the tub she had us down for the drain was on the wrong side. We immediately told her she needed to cancel the order and order the right tub we needed, with the exact drain, all of a sudden the tub we needed was in stock but the drain was now out of stock! The first truck was sent to our home with no warning- we both work and weren't there, and now we're on week 3 our tub was finally delivered and our drain won't be here until 'the end of the week' - but we're not holding our breath...we will never do business with them again. read more
