Out of all the HG stores, this one is my favorite. Well organized, nice staff... and from what I've noticed, a better and more diverse variety of items. I forgot my measuring tape and they were very quick to assist me, allowing me to borrow one. They also helped me to my car on many occasions with large items. Is everything here quality? No! It's a discount store after all. Examine your items carefully before purchase and stay away from the buffet-style furniture. I was able to furnish my beach cottage with so many cool things and receive so many compliments. Dishes, wall decor, candles, rugs, art work, lamps, side tables... you name it! Lovely shade of brown with a geometric design on the sides. Couldn't be happier. 25. Easter swag great. Got a cute little bunny for 5. I didn't have to wait too long to get in, even on a gorgeous Sunday. Really happy not to have to drive to Camarillo or wait till I go to LA to see Mom. read more

This place is great. There was not a very large selection of anything I was looking for (such as a small rug). I was looking for a painting but most of what I saw here had been poorly glossed over to make it look more realistic. If you're looking for decorations like vases or lamps etc then this is the place to go. It just depends what you need! Nice location and staff. read more

This is my "go to" store for home decor & miscellaneous niknaks. Sometimes I go in with nothing in mind & walk out with new gadgets I didn't know I needed! So dangerous on my wallet! I love coming to this location. The aisles are almost organized as well as the shelving. If you are looking for throw pillows, HomeGoods puts them together but separates them by color, holiday decor near the front door and makes it easier in a way to find things. The selection is great compared to other stores I've seen in other states or cities in California. The only reason I added four stars is because they don't carry extra items in the back, so if you need 2-6 of something, you have to go elsewhere in hopes they have the quantity or item you need. This HomeGoods has tons of parking and has restrooms for customers to use. Customer service has been great as far as the different times I've visited. read more

Pier One who? This place is where it's at! The place is clean, the staff are friendly, the selection is vast, and the items are all of quality. It doesn't feel like a discount store in the least bit. I've scored quite a few good deals here. Much of my home decor came from this store, and the items are still doing great after a few years. The store is in the notoriously busy Camino Real Marketplace, but I'm remarkably always able to secure a close parking spot. The place can get pretty crowded at times, but I feel that the staff do a good job with tidying up messes and rotating their merchandise in a regular manner. I could easily mistake my visits in here as shopping in a high-end department store. Dare I say HomeGoods is dangerous? For me, it is. I could walk in here and leave with a cart full of items. Some seriously good finds. If you're looking to decorate your home, look no further. read more

This is the go to place for housing items and gourmet kitchen goods. Although it is new, there is a full store of discount goods and lots of staff available to assist. We didn't experience any lines and found some great wrapping for gifts. They have carts great for kids to sit in that aren't too big in the aisles. Next time I go I hope there are even more options since open week has definitely been busy! Also, free parking right in front and a quick walk to lots of other stores including Costco. read more

How does someone like Isaac become a store manager with his lack of people skills-went to purchase an item and upon review at the register there were several red marks on the item. I requested a discount and he looked at me as if there was something wrong with me rather than the item and then said he would try to remove the marks and after applying some chemical with a cloth the marks remained he just looked at me and I said again " is there a discount" his reply was "six bucks" I told him I would go elsewhere-he wanted me to accept his bad attitude and pay money for it- He is not a people person and should not come in contact with the public -I am sure home goods can do better- usually home goods will offer a discount without the customer requesting one and the cashier confirmed that -someone should look into his attitude and his treatment of customers. read more

At first sight everything looks great; however, if you look closer you will see the low quality of items they sell. I bought bunch of stuff; however, later I decided to return everything because of the bad quality and high prices. It is basically a rip off considering the bad quality of furniture items and home goods. I rather continue shopping at the other discount stores or local stores for better quality items. The only good thing is the easy return policy! They are not a good company for our local community! read more

I was really disappointed to see a good number of shoppers in the store today without face masks on, despite the mandate for masks due to COVID-19. There are only 3 legitimate reasons that someone is "medically excused" from wearing a face mask: if they are under the age of 2, if they are unconscious/incapacitated, or if they have severe breathing difficulties (i.e. - they need supplemental oxygen). The people I saw shopping sans masks today met none of these criteria. One particularly obnoxious example was a tall, perfectly healthy-appearing blonde woman yapping away on her cell phone while her daughter (who looked to be about 8 or 9) was bouncing along beside her - neither of them was wearing a mask, and for all the rest of knows, they could be asymptomatic carriers. The store manager should be more concerned about the safety of his/her staff and customers - don't be bullied by some entitled self-absorbed nitwit claiming that she "doesn't have to disclose her medical condition" - the law actually states that you CAN refuse service as long as reasonable accommodations are made, such as offering curbside pickup. Not sure I'll be shopping here again, sadly. read more

I went there on a Saturday afternoon and even though there were a lot of people inside, the checkout line moved very quickly. Very friendly staff. They have a huge pet section of about 3 or four aisles. Lots of interesting foods, spices, olive oils, coffee, etc. Reminded me of a higher class Ross, without the clothing. Great prices! read more

I usually do not write reviews however I felt the need to write one today after what I saw. Today I found it very uncomfortable to shop here due to the manager degrading one of the employees that took time out of her day to help me and several others! I mean she didn't just point to where to find the item, she took the time to walk us over to ensure we found what we were looking for! Other shoppers also heard what appeared to be the manager degrading the same employees work. Shouting loud enough for others to hear "Is there a problem? This is taking you too long, you should have this completed by now" This person should not be a manager, I believe her name was deidra? I also strongly believe this employee deserves an apology!!!! No body deserves to be spoken to or degraded in that manner at any job! Very unprofessional and horrible management skills. Thank you to the employee who took the criticism gracefully and helped us customers to find what we needed! Great customer service on her part.
