I called in to check the delivery status and low and behold, my tile had been received, but no one had cared enough to notify me. While picking up my tile I discover the wrong trim pieces were received. (If you're thinking this is no big deal, please read more reviews and you will see that this is a common error TinT has been making for years, yet they have done nothing to prevent it from happening. Also found out the same thing happened to my neighbor.) After days of calling and emailing the Store Manager, I finally received an email back from her stating my tile is estimated to be received in 9 days. You would think that I was in good hands now that I am dealing with the Store Manager, but you would be wrong. 9 days came and went and still no word from TinT. After waiting an additional 5 days I asked for an update and AGAIN my tile was sitting there, but NO ONE cared enough to notify me. I brought my dissatisfaction with their service to my designers attention and her response was "If we had sku numbers and tracking then that would be great, but we don't". Really?!? They caused me to delay my tile installer 3 times due to their continued carelessness and this is their response? To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. This is a high end store where customers are paying premium prices, so to receive this low level of customer service blows my mind. I spent ¼ of the price at Floor & Décor and received 1000% better service. PLEASE take your hard earned money to a store that values their customers!!!

We were moving into a new home and needed floors done immediately. Paul made a few phone calls and came and dropped off the material within a matter of days. This was a pretty big job but Paul and his team not only completed the job on time but the floors were installed perfectly. Paul also called me almost daily to give me an update and check in on progress. Harrison also came by at the end of the project and took some of our extra trash and leftover paint from moving to their dumpster (talk about going above and beyond). I no longer wanted to spend hours on my knees re-doing our tub/shower into a shower only bathroom. I am retired and on a fixed income and this was a major expense that is now the worst home investment we have EVER MADE. 2 days after they completed our shower a leak occurred in our kitchen which is directly below our shower. So I went into the ceiling to find an active leak on the hot water side at the PEX to Copper connection. So we had to shut the water off to the house for 2-1/2 days before Brett could send his guy to repair the leak. We now had an approx. 4'x 10' section of Kitchen ceiling which was now ruined. His exact words were " We have a sheetrock guy who can hang new sheetrock and blend in the existing Stipple finish in your Kitchen." NOTHING was further from the truth. His crew has never Stippled in their entire lives. We now had a 4" x 10" section of my Kitchen ceiling which looked like crap. High blend spots and a 5' ridge line where the new sheetrock patched in the existing ceiling. I called Brett and sent several pictures and 2 videos of the ongoing leak and then pics of the "finished" crappy job his crew did. So I told him that I would sand the entire patch down and start from scratch and re-stipple the kitchen myself. It was obvious that Ridgeline is a hack company who doesn't give a crap about customers, doing a job worthy of the massive cost or maintaining a good reputation. So after buying joint compound, stipple brush, plastic, tape and 80 grit sand paper I began to repair this botched job. We are now at 3+ weeks of chaos, joint compound dust in 4 rooms and having a Kitchen in total disarray. Ridgeline HAS COMPENSATED US EXACTLY $0.0 FOR THIS MASSIVE INCONVENIENCE ! Horrible experience. I hired them to remove 4 walls during an entire renovation of my house over 2…read moreyears. My general contractor does it all, but removing load bearing walls so I hired Forsyth Remodeling to just remove the walls. They were more than other contractors but I wanted to make sure it was done properly as this was the ground floor in a 2+ story home. Work began and quickly went downhill. Some walls were not load bearing and Jay told me there was no way to return the $1.3k in wood materials no longer needed and I was stuck with the extra wood!!! Electric lines were cut from outlets and they refused to re connect them without me paying additional. Same thing for the lights. So now there is NO power to the kitchen, entryway, and living room. I had wires hanging from the ceiling, walls and floors uncapped. I texted Jay multiple times halfway through the week, he just kept saying if you want us to do anything with the power you have to pay more. So they have no problem cutting the lines. They just refuse to Reconnect them The contract stated that drywall was to be put up at the end and I kept questioning him how they could put drywall up with unattached wires going everywhere. He just kept telling me I have to pay for an electrician. By Friday the workers were using cell phone lights to work by. Nobody stopped by to check on the workers work or the progress. Nobody talked to me, even though I was raising serious issues in the middle of the week. By Friday I was living in a completely dark house with lights, not switched up. Drywall hanging and damaged from them taking down the walls and still no explanation or timeline on when drywall would go up or how in the world could they drywall around opened unconnected wires. I told Jay that the pictures and story would not look good on a review and he said that he did not care and to go right ahead. Eventually, I talk to the owner of the company. He explained that drywall should never have been included as you cannot drywall around unconnected wires. He also agreed that yes walls should have been checked before buying product. That is non-returnable and did refund me the unused wood, and they took it back, I guess for another project. He also finally on Friday sent the electrician to spend an hour or two tentatively reconnecting wires to be able to have power and lights for the weekend. He also agreed that my Contractor should have been coming in during the week to do the wiring so they could have done the drywall, however, Jay explicitly told me that under no circumstances could I have other vendors like my Contractor here working while they were here which I abide by. This *Now leaves us multiple days behind schedule and trying to juggle other vendors. It's really hard to describe the amount of stress and dysfunction going on in an already chaotic stressful situation. I was refunded for work not done and the materials not used. I was not given a discount for the incredible cluster fluff that this turned into. The lack of communication and refusal to even come out to see what the issues were created an absolute worst case scenario. The workers did a decent job on the work that they did however such a lack of common sense when writing a quote, and severe lack of management and common sense of seeing the issues that were happening and refusing to listen to me or come out and address the issues left this a nightmare. I have spiderwebs of wires everywhere and struggling on a Friday afternoon to try and reset and find drywaller's for next week before the painters are supposed to come. they to charge me to hook up a wire, but didn't offer a refund for the damage that they caused to other drywall areas. Better customer service would have been to do what they did and the small amount that was still owed written off for a decent customer service, the sleepless nights, the thermostat not working, the power not working, having to eat out because there's no way to cook food, no lights in the house at night, ect.

Let me first start by saying that choosing tile is stressful...from finding a retailer, getting personal help, and an installer you can trust. I think I had gone to every big box and small tile retailer in Atlanta as well as looking on-line. I had a vision of what I wanted but just couldn't find it. From the moment I walked into Bovenzi, things were different. Rocio was awesome! She greeted me and asked me what I was looking for. I explained my vision and showed her pictures of my space and things I liked. I wanted something unique and different that had a feel of wallpaper and was in a matte finish. She showed me so many beautiful tiles, gave me suggestions, and let me take home samples overnight. I'm slow to make decisions as I don't want to make a mistake and she was patient and would occasionally touch base without pressuring me. I called the store once and Rocio was not in but the sales person Amanda knew who I was when I called. I even got a chance to meet the owner Anthony one day in the store and he gave me a lot of confidence about his business. When I was ready to proceed, I was given a timeline and the morning of the install she came to my house and introduced me to her installer Alex. He was friendly, professional, and meticulous. The entire process once I committed to the project went smoothly and I am so happy I found Bovenzi!!!

QUOTE CLARITY. Quote calls out some exclusions like shower glass and an electrician, but makes no…read moremention of what materials were/were not included. For example, a line item in the quote specifically states installation of tile and durock. You're supposed to know they mean durock is included but a minimum tile spec is not. After costs related to tile and hardware, like toilets, tubs, cabinet handles, faucets etc. we spent another $24k - outside the Bovenzi quote. For example, why can't an estimated cost on 3 tubs, or 3 toilets be called out as a line item such as the estimate of $3,500 for glass? Bovenzi does not provide an all encompassing quote - which is fine; however, they just need to call out ALL the exclusions and not random exclusions. Specifically calling out some items that are excluded, but not all, leaves the impression that everything else is included. LATE: Not on time and not on-site when they say they will be there. When the GM came to complete the final walk-through, the master bath was at a point where you couldn't even physically see the floor yet - there is considerable disconnect between those managing the projects and those doing the work. Additionally, if someone tells you they will be on-site tomorrow, there's a 50/50 chance of that being accurate. TRADES: The trades coming in smelled like booze, and lots of it. They also smell like smoke, but the alcohol was concerning. PAYMENTS: From the day they called for final payment stating today was their last day until the day they actually left was 2 additional weeks (including 2 no-show days) - lots of disconnect. COMMUNICATION: I actually almost called the police on a guy I saw on my cameras wandering around my driveway/entry (I was not living in the home the first 3 months of owning it). It ended up being the guy dropping off the dumpster to begin demo. While this seems innocent enough, we had absolutely NO CLUE they were starting the project that day/week/month. Thinking someone was there to drop off a giant dumpster related to the project beginning demo that VERY day was literally the last thing on my mind based on my conversations with them to date. Also, if you send in a request like "can you tell me the height of the vanity so I can order a mirror", they quickly and kindly respond that they will get that right over to you; however, you will have to ask AT LEAST 3 times to get the most basic questions answered. NEGLECT/DISREGARD/DAMAGE: We discovered they ran the A/C at 60 degrees 24/7 for the first 5 days per our wireless thermostat (we were not at home). They said they would turn it off when they left in the evening but that was not the case. A nest thermostat we later installed fixed the problem so I could turn the system off when no one was at the home; however, the harm was already done. We required HVAC repair by the end of their first week on the job as we lost the entire upstairs system (where they were working). We had several instances of walls being punched through to the other side (bedrooms & closets) with no clean up. To clarify, we know holes will be made throughout the entire process, it was just making the mess, and not cleaning it up for weeks while everyone continues to walk on the debris, that caused considerable damage to our flooring. Dirty hand tools were set directly on brand new carpet. 40-year-old, grimy, exhaust fans, light switches, light fixtures, etc. set directly on brand new carpet with no plastic/protection. Over halfway through the project, when I was visiting the site, I was the one to personally vacuum, mop my stairs and apply floor protection paper. They will also leave white shoe covers at the front door and never use them. MARK-UPS: Considerable mark-up on showroom selections like tile & hardware. I found all the faucets at Home Depot for $2k less but they said they went with Ferguson instead because they were in stock. Those fixture boxes from Ferguson sat on the floor of my foyer for over a month. There would have been zero issues waiting a week or two for Home Depot to supply them. FINAL CLEAN: None. While a final clean (though poor) was technically completed on the guest baths, no one even came to complete a final clean once the master bath was finally completed. TOTAL: Cost for 1 master bath & 2 (5X7) guest baths "all in" ended up at $82,500. If I would have known most materials were not included, they technically were the most expensive quote we had received. I now much preferred the quotes we received that budgeted for everything to complete the project. AFTER COMPLETION: Wood floors had to be refinished in several damaged areas. One vanity faucet had hot/cold reversed. Master bathtub had no hot water. Shower drain in master was fully blocked a month after completion - we pulled massive amounts of drywall debris they must have washed down the drain. To note, we preferred to handle all of these ourselves and did not reach out to Bovenzi.
