Let me tell you how pleased I am that I get to review this business again. The reason there haven't been more updates is because Juan does excellent work, and things don't need to be fixed again. Five years after my first business with Juan, in a different home in a different part of town, when I had some issues with a window allowing moisture into my house, I was thrilled to see Juan's company show up as someone who could possibly fix my weatherstripping issues. As he did years ago, Juan was quick to respond, easy to communicate with, and he showed up to assess the situation, give me multiple solutions, and a reasonable estimate, and I was more than happy to hire him again to fix my house problems. He showed up on the agreed upon day with a worker, and the two of them got up onto ladders and removed two very high up triangular windows, removed all the rotted wood and replaced them with PVC, painted, replaced and sealed the windows, and was done in a matter of hours. It's been a few days, and we've already had multiple rains, and to no surprise, my leaking issues have completely stopped. Chatting with Juan, I'm very happy to hear that his business has grown throughout the years and he and his team have expanded beyond just glass and windows, and they do all sorts of renovations and home beautification in addition now. I'd be more than willing to hire Juan again for any future home repair needs, and I highly recommend him to anyone else looking for someone who is quick, competent, reasonably priced and does excellent work, whether it's glass, windows, renovations or any other home repairs. read more

Juan and his crew were awesome. Converted tub to shower. They ran into unexpected major issue and handled it with grace. Character is everything. Pricing, quality of work and communication were great. We added more work to replace pipes underneath house and other knickknacks. They finished everything within a reasonable time frame. Would definitely use this company again. So thankful we found them! read more

True story: A couple of months ago I ran around my condo trying to kill a housefly with a Bounty paper towel roll (which is twice as absorbent than other brands, FYI). That mother****** landed on my dining room window, and I lightly swung at it to end its life. I killed that SOB in dramatic fashion while breaking my window. "I am so f******* stupid," I told myself. "Yes. Yes you are," replied the heckling, smashed, and deceased housefly. ***** I searched "window repair" on Yelp and couldn't avert my eyes from the perfect five-star rating with 15 reviews. I called the number and a man by the name of Juan answered. He told me he could arrive in an hour or so, but that didn't fit my schedule. He asked me to send him a picture, so I did. He estimated that the entire cost would set me back over $200, which sucked, but it had to get fixed. Over the next few days, texted and called back-and-forth to try to find a day and time I could have him repair my window. Honestly, I became frustrated when we did agree on a date and time, and he didn't show up; however, it all was forgiven when he did arrive and repaired my window in less than an hour. Was the communication between us perfect? No. But did it get the job done and would I rely on him again if I happen to break another window? Absolutely. If you broke a window and a new one ASAP, then Juan is your guy. But seriously, f*** that stupid housefly. read more

Juan did an amazing job installing two windows into a previous brick wall which allowed a ton more light into our living room. This was not an easy job. There was extensive masonry and hard work involved. His team was detail oriented, on-time, and did an amazing job. It looks like it was part of the original design of the house!! I can't say enough about the quality of craftsmanship and integrity Juan and his team possess. Thank you!! read more

We found Juan's company on Yelp. His team replaced a large pane of glass near our front door. The project was perfect!! He was very responsive and easy to communicate with. He gave us a thorough quote and scheduled us right away. He was on schedule and on budget. Great communication during the process. His crew worked very quickly and cleaned up the site. I highly recommend Juan's company to friends and family. He was a pleasure to do business with! read more

These guys are amazing. I got quotes for a custom shower door from 3 or 4 companies. Atlanta Renovation had the least expensive price. They did require 1/2 down, which initially made me nervous, but they explained it was to purchase and hold the glass. They scheduled around my availability (getting other home renovations done), and the finished product is beautiful. read more

After a break in Christmas Day, I needed my window repaired quickly. I called Juan based off the reviews here. He was at my house within 30 mins to take measurements, then came back later that day to fix my window. Exceptional service and quality at reasonable prices. I felt safe and comfortable around him. After a break in, you don't trust anyone...but he was kind and reassuring. I will be having him back out again for general repairs read more

I had glasses replaced in my windows and paid juan $3000. This work should be under warranty he returned last year to replace several of the glasses that he had done before and was very rude to me accused me of pressure washing the windows and said he was not coming back again. Those glasses that he replaced A year ago are fogging up again. I just called him and told him to come look at them. Two other companies told me that he omitted the gaskets when he installed these glasses. He is accusing me again of pressure washing my windows which I told him come look at my house it is dirty I did not pressure wash the house and I know better than to pressure wash windows. I see the other good reviews. but when someone will not warrant their work and not even come back to look at it after sending him a letter, he is not qualified in my opinion to do windows. He might be good in other fields but definitely not windows. When someone looks for excuses not to stick to their warranty that is not in my opinion good reputation not a person with integrity. So beware of his phony warranty he looks for excuses not to warrant his work read more

Juan did a great job replace my window! I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs windows replaced or any sort of renovation! I live in Atlantic Station and Juan came out to replace a window. He was fairly priced and provided me with a breakdown of the costs (which most would appreciate). Out of three quotes he was the lowest by about 10%. Although the window was severely damaged and still needed to be replaced, it turned out that the source of the issue was not the window itself. Juan took the time to investigate the real issue, and give me advice and directions on how to deal with the issue without sticking me with a huge "out of scope" price tag. Overall I had a great experience with Juan and I will definitely be contacting him with any future issues. Lastly, he is very diligent in his work, but has a fast turn around for coming to complete the job. read more

Juan and his team did a extensive renovation in my 1970's house, including some structural work (taking out two walls and installing beams), removing paneling and installing drywalling a den, smoothing a textured ceiling throughout, installing new wood flooring, complete kitchen gutting and installing cabinets, counters, plumbing, lighting, appliances, and electrical. I am super happy with how things turned out and my experience working with Juan and team. From the start, Juan was responsive and timely. He showed up when he said he would (even called when he was running 15 min late because of traffic) and got me a very competitive bid within a few days. In contrast, there were 5-6 other contractors that showed up to my house, looked around, took notes, and then never followed through with a bid despite me following up. Once the job started, his crew showed up every day, worked until 7-8 each day, and ended up finishing the job a week before the contract indicated they would, which I really appreciated because it was right before Christmas. The crew was polite and friendly. Another aspect of working with Juan that i really appreciated was his flexibility. He told me at the time of the bid that he wouldn't nickel and dime me on little stuff and he was true to his word on that. There were several small items that were not on the original plan that his team did without extra charge (install new ceiling fan, replace outlet covers and switches with new white ones, replace vent covers, add an additional canned light to a bank of canned lights). Also, i made some changes midstream (how much of a wall to remove, configuration of kitchen cabinets) and Juan just rolled with it -- even though his crew had mistakenly followed the old plan and had to redo some work, they redid the work without issue. He was also very flexible in working with other contractors, though I ended up having his team do everything. All in all, it was a great experience. This firm is very easy to work with, and communicate with. I am most definitely planning on using AER again for additional work. read more

We just had Juan and his team complete another outstanding project for us. This is the 5th project we have had Juan do for us and we will continue to use him in the future. His team repaired a ceiling leak damage, painted multiple rooms, removed a bathroom vanity, and installed a new vanity. Did all of this with extreme detail and quality. He provided a quick response/estimate, was on time, and gave fair transparent pricing. Thank you! read more

Juan and his team are just the best, beginning to end. I could not be happier. My project started with just 2 windows I wanted to be replaced. I had difficulty with a few other companies that didn't want to take on such a small job. His team replaced them quickly and at a fair price, and I loved the sunroom window so much, I decided to do a total renovation of that room. They removed paneling, replaced insulation, sheetrocked, added molding, painted. At first, I just wanted the ceiling smoothed and repainted, but then decided to see if it would be possible to totally remove it and vault it up to the roofline. The roofline allowed for the ceiling to go about 14 feet high at one point, but a very unusual and challenging shape. They added shiplap, a beam, ceiling fan, and it is spectacular. They added an exposed brick wall which is again a challenging shape that goes up at an angle to the high point of the wall. The whitewashed bricks I ordered were a lot whiter than I expected, and they tediously added paint thinner to each brick, the whole wall, 3 layers, to strip them down to the perfect color. I had another wall in my dining room that had several major holes after I had removed an intercom and some outlets. I thought that the sheetrock would need to be replaced, but the patchwork they did was flawless. They ended up repainting that whole room too. So, those are a few details of what they achieved, but most importantly, Juan, David, Leo are just the nicest, most hardworking, trustworthy, on time, late working, pleasant, patient, skilled guys that you would ever want to meet. Any adjustments and questions I had along the way, they met with kindness and persistence, wanting the end result to be exactly what I wanted. Working with them has made me now want to renovate my bathrooms and also recommend Juan to my friends. It would be great if companies would understand, that if they do an excellent job in the small things, it could turn out to be a much bigger project than they first expected. Call Juan. He will call you back, show up when he says he will, do excellent work at a fair price. But beware, when that renovated room looks amazing, it will make the rest of your home look shabby, and you will want him to improve it all. read more

Polite, fast and does great work. He showed up in less than an hour, cut the glass, installed and took the trash. Price was cheaper than other estimates and he takes cards so I didn't have to leave the house. Highly recommended! I don't plan on breaking anymore windows, but if I do I know who to call. read more

I found this company on YELP. I'm looking to do a interior renovation and all new windows around the house. Based on their 20 reviews this company does both renovations & windows. I called the number listed and got the voicemail. I left a message with my contact. NO RESPONSE. It amazes me how these companies throughout Atlanta are so unprofessional. read more

Juan was great! I recently had a break in and needed a window repaired. Juan answered my call and was at my home in 30 minutes then fixed my window in less than an hour. Very nice, respectful fellow. I hope I don't have to call him again, but definitely would use him again! read more

One of the panes on my front door was broken, so I called Juan and he came by the next day and fixed it under 20 minutes. He was quiet and noninvasive and he cuts his own glass so its very fast and very affordable. I would recommend him to anyone. Great job! read more

Juan was just out to look at broken windows at my Mom's house. She said he was polite and very helpful. Most importantly, he said that replacement was not needed, and a simple nail or two would fix the problem. He made the repair right then, and charged a very reasonable amount for the visit and simple fix. I really appreciate contractors who don't try to up-sell when it's not needed. I would definitely call him in the future. read more

Our 5 year old channeled Bruce Lee and put his fist of fury through a pane of glass in our kitchen door. We saw a review for Juan on Yelp and decided to call him. He came out and within 20 minutes had replaced the pane. Not only that, but he also replaced a cracked pane in another window and replaced some broken glazing with caulk. Total price was $125. It doesn't get any better than Juan. We're getting him back next week to give us an estimate on some other work. It's really refreshing (and somewhat amazing) to find a reliable, talented, professional, honest and ethical company for small home repairs. Juan is the best. read more

Juan is the greatest. Not only was he able to accommodate our tight schedules (as well as being prompt and responsive) but his prices were far below the other quotes that we received for our window replacement. Although we called his company for our windows, we found out that Juan has expertise in a great many home areas. We will definitely be calling him again. read more

Juan did an excellent job replacing our large picture window. He was able to to get the job done quickly and at a much lower price than all my other quotes. He was super friendly and I would definitely hire him again. read more

I had a difficult situation in that I needed to replace a palladian window that had rotted and fallen to pieces. I got four estimates and most of the bids were really high (like in the several thousands). As this window is the focal point of the front of my house, appearance was very important to me. Even the window replacement companies that gave me the highest estimates would have been using windows that didn't match the windows on the rest of the house. Juan was the only person I met with who worked with me to come up with a less expensive solution. My new window looks wonderful, matches the rest of the windows, and was very professionally installed. Juan seems to have a real commitment to doing quality work -- rare, indeed, these days. read more

The Yelp reviews encouraged me to contact Juan last week for an estimate to replace a broken window and a fogged window in my Stone Mountain home. He gave me a very reasonable quote for the work, which also included replacing the window locks. I hired him on the spot. Juan was able to complete the work the next day. Not only is Juan thorough and expeditious, he is also friendly and respectful. read more

Juan just completed a total interior/exterior renovation for one of our investment properties. Juan was recommended to us by a friend and after speaking to several other contractors, it was clear that we wanted to work with Juan. He is very easy to work with, provided a clear and detailed quote, and completed the work with great attention to detail. Our scope of work included: - Full interior and exterior paint (trim, windows and walls) - Complete gut and re-build of kitchen (new cabinets, lights, appliances) - Complete gut and re-build of two bathrooms (new shower/tub with tile work, floors, fixtures, lights) - Installation of hardwood floors - Removal of wall - Removal of wallpaper and wood paneling Throughout the entire process, Juan was in communication with us on a daily basis. We trusted him and his team and never felt the need to micromanage their work. We absolutely recommend Juan and Atlanta Renovation Experts to friends and look forward to working with him again soon! read more

I used this company a few years ago and had a good experience so I decided to contact them again for a window replacement. I was told they don't service Marietta currently but because I was a repeat customer he would make an exception. He said he would make it out to my house the next day which I agreed would be fine only he never called, showed up, or answered my phone call, text, or email. This is unacceptable as we are all adults here and I even told him in my text to let me know if he just couldn't get to me and it would be fine. Still never got a response or contact back of any kind. After his big speech about taking care of his previous customers and how important it is to him, then to no call no show, obviously he is not honorable and you may want to think twice about this company! read more

It's awful to be the victim of a burglary, but it's awesome to find someone like Juan to come to the rescue of a shattered window. He showed up within the hour and installed new glass that very afternoon. Though I hope not to have to use him for another broken window, I will call him in a second for any other number of repairs to my historic home. read more

Juan helped us with the renovation of a 1950's bungalow. New tile in the bath and kitchen, new windows, carpentry, refinished floors, new paint throughout...everything looks fantastic. I can't say enough about this company's professionalism and courteousness. They were on site before I arrived every morning and many evenings were working until 7 or 8. I'm so pleased to find Juan and his team. I'll be using them for my next renovation project. read more

I am late writing this review. Juan came to fix two broken windows. First, he arrived when he said he would and the one time that he couldn't make our appointment, he called before the time and let me know. If you have had any dealings with contractors you know that that alone is worth 5 stars, but it gets better. He did an excellent job replacing the broken glass and at a fair price. I will be using him again for painting and general repairs. read more

Juan and his team just completed a week's worth of work at my home and I couldn't be happier. Juan and his team performed various tasks including (1) painting the exterior of my home and repairing rotten wood (2) pressure washing the exterior of the home, stairs, driveway and sidewalks (3) fixing broken cabinets (4) installing outside ceiling fans (5) deep cleaning and resealing my travertine shower and several other odds and ins that needed repair in my home. Juan was exceptionally courteous and he was very easy to work with. He was an excellent communicator and openly discussed the plan to repair the items I had on my list. He took pictures of the repairs to my house that I couldn't see (because they were on the second or third floor of the exterior). As I found additional items in the home that needed repair, Juan was always happy to help and he was creative when finding ways to repair items that in the past I was told could not be repaired. Once all of the items were addressed, Juan and I did a complete walkthrough of all of the work his team performed and anything I wanted touched up was immediately addressed (please note, I am exceptionally detailed and picky and this never seemed to bother Juan). I always felt like Juan was very fair and trustworthy and honest - something that is a rare combination to find in today's world. His team members - Miguel and Jose - were also very polite and friendly and were a pleasure to have working around the home. If you have any type of home project, I would not hesitate to call Juan and have him help you! I have him on speed dial and am very thankful to have found him! Give him a call today! read more
