I was extremely disappointed with Alex and Trimelogic. My small cottage remodel began in the end of…read moreAugust 2025 and was due to be finished in 4 to 6 weeks. By the end of March 2026, it had not been completed, and I fired Alex and his crew and got another group to finish the work. Much of what was done on my screened-in porch had to be removed or corrected. None of the supporting post were plumb, overhead supports were not level, and the sanded plywood that was installed as a ceiling for my carport was attached with trim nails. Needless to say, the ceiling did not stay in place. As for the inside of my cottage, architectural plans were not followed and rooms were not built to the specified size. I have wall switches that do not activate anything. The plumbing of the sink underneath the kitchen and bath have such long hoses so that the space is hardly usable for storage. The LVP flooring has cracked and needs to be repaired in two rooms. The overall lack of communication and sometimes showing up to work caused tremendous hardship on me. Because the project was not finished by the projected date, I had to live with my daughter for six months, and reschedule delivery of appliances. I found Alex to be overtly pleasant, but he did not listen to my concerns, built things the way he wanted to do them in spite of the architectural drawings, and provided many many excuses for why he did not show up on time. For example, he didn't work on one particular day and when I texted him to ask, why, he said they weren't coming because he didn't like the look of the sky. Although there were clouds, it never rained at the job site. Another issue of concern is that Alex did not get a to do the . As a contractor, I was under the impression he took care of all of the for the remodel and addition of the porch. My new crew had just begun working when a code enforcer drove up and said that all Work had to stop. The office had received an anonymous phone call saying that I was doing construction without proper permits. My new contractor took care of this problem that very day. I find it extremely odd that anyone could see what was going on at my house since I am surrounded by trees, and there's no way to see my house as cars drive-by. How would anybody know that a permit had not been granted when I didn't even know that?

The reason there…read morehaven't been more updates is because Juan does excellent work, and things don't need to be fixed again. Five years after my first business with Juan, in a different home in a different part of town, when I had some issues with a window allowing moisture into my house, I was thrilled to see Juan's company show up as someone who could possibly fix my weatherstripping issues. As he did years ago, Juan was quick to respond, easy to communicate with, and he showed up to assess the situation, give me multiple solutions, and a reasonable estimate, and I was more than happy to hire him again to fix my house problems. He showed up on the agreed upon day with a worker, and the two of them got up onto ladders and removed two very high up triangular windows, removed all the rotted wood and replaced them with PVC, painted, replaced and sealed the windows, and was done in a matter of hours. It's been a few days, and we've already had multiple rains, and to no surprise, my leaking issues have completely stopped. Chatting with Juan, I'm very happy to hear that his business has grown throughout the years and he and his team have expanded beyond just glass and windows, and they do all sorts of renovations and home beautification in addition now. I'd be more than willing to hire Juan again for any future home repair needs, and I highly recommend him to anyone else looking for someone who is quick, competent, reasonably priced and does excellent work, whether it's glass, windows, renovations or any other home repairs.

Not only the shower was leaking, there was no hot water. He had mentioned that he will have to break the wall, this and that. After almost two weeks of going back and forth and my grandma not having a working shower, I ended up calling up my plumber who fixed the issue. The issue was with workmanship and where the installation wasn't done correctly. After paying the plumber $300, I finally get a message back from Edgar saying that he is sending someone and since this isn't a workmanship issue, I have to pay him $300.
