We really couldn't be happier. James gave us the estimate and explained his detailed process to install additional oak flooring, and refinish the existing oak floors and stairs. Then his excellent crew led by Nathan completed the process exactly as explained. (And let's face it, that is rare these days!) Our furniture was moved professionally, plastic was used to cover cabinets, doorways, large artwork, and some light fixtures. The job was completed to exceed our expectations, and then our home was professionally cleaned before the furniture was replaced. They also were able to eliminate many squeaks in our old floors, something that multiple other companies had not been able to do. Unfortunately, our experience with Peach State has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. After a quick response for an appointment to get an estimate and waiting several days to give James time to write up a quote, it required days and days of emails, texts, and phone calls to receive our quotes - there was just no response to any of our messages. Their voicemail box was always full and it seemed to be just luck that James finally answered the phone and at that point, he sent the quotes. After reviewing the two quotes and needing a third, we have now waited 10 days and still no word from our repeated requests for them to contact us so we can move forward. At this point, we've have to cut our losses and now have to find another vendor - what a colossal waste of our time in the middle of a major renovation! Maybe our job was just too small (repair and refinishing 2 - 4 rooms and a hall) or perhaps they're just too busy - but, we even asked them to just let us know that they don't want or can't do the job so we can find someone else; and still ..... crickets. read more
