We ordered a built-in oven and microwave and finally one year later it's installed correctly. We started with David Mitrani who was always on extended vacations. We had no continuity with the service team. We were always talking to someone different. Our microwave is a countertop with trim kit and the door kept rubbing. They came back no fewer than 6 times to just do the same thing over and over again. And they kept damaging the surface of the trim kits and oven in the process. It was insane. I finally looked up the microwave that they had chosen for our install, and it turns out it is not one of the counter top models that you can build in. After I finally figured out the solution, our install is beautiful and works as it should. read more

There's a saying that goes, "don't hate the player, hate the game". This pertains to Ferguson in a big way. Personally after visiting here "many" times I'm not going to play the game anymore. It's like going into an exclusive nightclub with the bouncer guarding the door as you enter. Maybe you belong maybe you don't. Who does belong and who do they cater to then. This would be the person who is going through a major remodel of their home or is in the final stages of new construction. Why, the sales staff work on commission, so guess who they want to deal with. Yep, the person whose dropping 17k on fixtures. Ok, in my case, I'm looking to drop 2-3k on a new tub and a few bathroom fixtures and I can't get the time of day from the sales staff. That is unless I pretty much know what I want, with very little help from them, with the majority of their time now spent writing up the sales ticket. Ok, after many visits here with my wife I've had it. I don't have the luxury of taking multiple work days off repeatedly just to be brushed off because I'm not dropping enough money for her commission. So why would you come in here? The show room is very nice and it will now give you an idea of what something looks like so you can now go home and order it online. This is why amazon was created and why many retailers have gone out of business. Ferguson won't go out of business, but, you will leave frustrated every time you walk out the door. I was greeted warmly when I entered and was given a showroom consultant, Lynndon, to help me choose faucets and lighting for my master bath. Wow, was he knowledgeable! He saved me hours of shopping by knowing what my existing plumbing could and could not support. He was so able to lead me to the lighting companies whose finishes would match with the faucets I had chosen, no easy feat when working in the gold/brass tones. Don't WASTE your time! Unless you are furnishing multiple house or luxury apartments, commercial sales, they DO NOT want you business. After 17 years I needed to replace my kitchen sink faucet. As a contractor, retirement job, I had visited the store once before. The showroom is impressive. Not one person offered to help me that first visit so I bought the fixture for a 7,900 sq. ft. home elsewhere. This time it was personal. Today, I needed one fixture only and I wanted a high quality product for my own, smaller home. Because of my previous experience, when the receptionist greeted me this time, I explained what I needed. She contacted a sales lady. While I waited I explained my previous experience and as I walked towards the displays I mentioned that I noticed that the reviews on Yelp were bad. Her words exactly, with a frown said "That's just Yelp,' you know how they are." She left her sentence hanging as I walked away. I never mentioned that I would be reviewing the store later. From there, things went as expected. I browsed, with my sales lady's help, to choose a fixture. I purchased the fixture and it was ordered. The next day, I showed a picture of my purchase to my personal assistant. I am totally colorblind and I had bought the wrong color. I called to let them know that I would be coming in to do the paperwork to exchange for another faucet. I asked if I could make an appointment with my sales lady. I was told that I could not. So I waited a couple of days, and at a time I didn't expect them to be busy I called again. Once again I asked about an appointment. Same response. I explained that I could be there in 10 minutes. Although she was "available," nope! I asked the lady to please let her know I was on my way and that I would be there in 10 minutes. I arrived in less than 10 minutes.When I walked in and asked for my lady, I was told, she just went in with a client. Furthermore I was told it would be awhile before someone would be available. I was furious and reminded her "I just called!" She seemed to care less. I showed her my paperwork and cancelled my order. I found the exact same part # item but in the correct color, for slightly less money on Amazon. I also verified the price difference wasn't because of the color change. This is pretty much what others have said too. People pretending not to see you, much less help you. Now, I'm in the process of remodeling my master bath. While the showroom is nice for ideas, I just went online to their website browsed for ideas and then ordered $3,749.00 from Amazon. This was the ONLY good thing I can say about the 3 visits I have made to this store... just don't go! read more

Ferguson has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I have tried many many times to get them to repair a range and downdraft that are still both under warranty. Their hold times are crazy, and once you get hold of them they say they will set up a repair but they never do, and never call you back as promised. We made a large purchase at Ferguson's, but I certainly will never buy from them again. read more

We remodeled our entire downstairs about 1 year ago & purchased a new fridge, a wine fridge, toilets, bowl sink, faucets, shower faucets, a tub & all the stand up faucets that go with it...& I'm sure I'm forgetting something. We laid some big $ down at this place. But my beautiful, expensive new Koehler tub's drain doesn't work/hasn't worked since it was installed over a year ago. I have called, gone by the show room & left messages for Melanie at least 3 times now. I finally DID get a phone call from her about 4-6 months ago. I once again explained the problem, that the plumber did all he could & the drain does not work. She told me she would look into it & that's the last I've heard from her. Today I went into that showroom for the last time. I was told that Melanie was in, but she was on the phone. I was told she would be right with me. After waiting a good 10 minutes, I finally left. We went to shop for a few things for our new house. We walked in, and walked around a while without anyone being bothered to even greet us. When we finally decided what we wanted I went to the front to ask for help, and was told everyone was busy and she'd get someone to help me when they became available. No one ever showed up. Not the girl behind the desk on her phone, or the guy and girl who went to the bathroom area, or the two people deeply engaged in conversation. Lord forbid they have to talk to customers! I guess they get paid so much they can afford to go without commissions- nice. Very polite but a black hole. We had done business with them in the past through contractors and found them to be very helpful. This time we wanted to buy an oven on our own. Drove up to the Conroe location and picked out the oven that we wanted on February 20. We were supposed to receive a call within two days. This is March 8 and we're still waiting despite two follow up calls to the sales person. An A for politeness but without follow up they are just a black hole. Perhaps they are really only interested in dealing with contractors? Today we did what we should've done in the first place, got online and ordered the oven from Best Buy. I visited Ferguson's last week without an appointment because it was an emergency. I needed two shower fixtures ASAP as we had a bad plumbing leak. I walked in without an appointment . I asked to see a sales person . I was referred to Lyndon Johns . He was professional , knowledgeable and helped me right away. My job was small but it was important to him. He made sure they were the right fit and I received my first set from the warehouse as soon as I could drive there. The other fixture came ASAP from Waco . I was extremely pleased with the service and friendliness of the staff. This is not my first experience with Ferguson's and all have been excellent . I would recommend this store in the woodlands highly. read more

The only thing this company did well was take our money. On September 22nd I ordered and had to pay in full $5,500 for a Vent-a-Hood range hood. The salesperson said I'd have it well before Thanksgiving . Many follow up calls later I have no range hood and NOT EVEN a scheduled delivery date. The salesperson has left the company. No one else who takes our calls can provide anything more than vague assurances that we'll have a delivery date soon. Pleasant is nice, but I'm wondering if they're doing anything at all except placating the customer. How do I schedule the contractor for a new installation with no delivery date? This is no way to run a business. read more
