I didn't want to have to open both French doors every time I needed something out of it. They listened, understood exactly what I meant, and helped me find one that worked exactly the way I wanted. It was the same when I was choosing our Speed Queen washer. I had questions about getting a washing machine with an agitator versus one without, and instead of just telling me which one to buy, they walked me through the pros and cons of each so I could decide what was actually best for our family. They really take the time to help you find what you want while also making sure you're getting something that is good quality and built to last. That kind of personal service is exactly why we've gone back to Wilson's again and again over the years. A Hotpoint 15.5 Cubic Foot Refrigerator displayed in the showroom area of the Appliance Outlet Store located at 32211 FM 2978 in Magnolia, TX 77354 was purchased on August 29, 2023. The unit we viewed was in pristine condition. The transaction was completed by Mike in the sales department. The unit was delivered the following week by a third-party delivery service contracted by Appliance Outlet. It was shrink wrapped upon arrival and was installed by the delivery personnel in a designated area of our garage between a wall and a shelving unit. Paperwork was signed and the delivery service departed. The front of the refrigerator was flawless, however, closer inspection revealed that there was severe damage to the upper, right-side corner and the upper right side of the freezer door and the lower right side front surface where the refrigerator door seals to the frame. The unit runs more than it should and consumes a lot of energy. Condensation forms inside the refrigerator section because the door will not seal properly. Mike, the salesperson, was contacted immediately. During our conversation, Mike mentioned that he did not recall any damage to the unit we were shown. Mike requested that we text pictures of the damaged areas for evaluation. Several days passed before a response was received by Mike, only to tell us that we needed to contact the customer service department because he was in sales and did not handle customer service or warranty issues. Four calls were placed with the customer service department before a response was finally received. Our request for a replacement unit or a refund was denied, and we have since been ghosted by Appliance Outlet. Two causes for the damage are possible: The first being we were shown the pristine refrigerator in the showroom and a damaged unit from the store warehouse was delivered instead (AKA bait and switch). Or the delivery service did not properly secure the refrigerator in the truck, and it fell over inside the truck while enroute causing severe damage. Neither the Appliance Outlet nor the delivery service will take responsibility or be accountable for the damaged unit.

I agreed to the repair, which was very costly, and presented him with a $250 check as a deposit. This morning, the day after the service call, my oven suddenly started working. I contacted the company and told them of this event. I was told there would be no refund of my deposit, as that was his policy. I offered to compensate him for the service call, and he stated that there were no refunds. He finally agreed to refund $100. I provided him information to refund the $100, and he managed to mess up that refund. He then stated that I needed to set up a new account with the messed up name that he processed the refund under. I refused, and told him I had other accounts he could use. He still insisted that I set up the account with the incorrect information. I again stated that he could use one of my other accounts. While waiting for a response I did place a stop payment on the check. He finally responded. I sent him $150 for the service call. This was a total fiasco. It was not like I didn't text him the name and phone number for the account he messed up. I do not believe he understands English very well, and obviously does not read it very well. I do not recommend doing business with this company. Zero stars. I had to give a one star rating to be able to post this review.

When customers trust a warranty company, they expect reliable vendors and communication. Sadly, that has not been our experience with Masterfix. Hopefully Allstate takes these repeated no-shows seriously and reevaluates keeping them on their vendor list, because companies that cannot keep appointments or communicate simply cannot be trusted with customers' homes and time.
