I can't recommend Wilson's Appliances in Conroe enough! We have purchased so many things from them…read moreover the years, and they are always my first choice when we need a new appliance. And now they're so close to my house in Willis! We've bought our king-size mattress, our Speed Queen washer and dryer, a freezer, and multiple refrigerators from Wilson's. I'm actually on my second refrigerator from them now, and I absolutely LOVE it! It's probably my favorite refrigerator I've ever owned, and I would recommend it in a heartbeat. One thing I really appreciate about Wilson's is how much time they take to actually listen to what you want--even the little "silly" requests that might not seem important to someone else. When I was looking for a refrigerator, one of my very specific requests was that I wanted to be able to open just ONE door and still reach the crisper drawer. I didn't want to have to open both French doors every time I needed something out of it. They listened, understood exactly what I meant, and helped me find one that worked exactly the way I wanted. It was the same when I was choosing our Speed Queen washer. I had questions about getting a washing machine with an agitator versus one without, and instead of just telling me which one to buy, they walked me through the pros and cons of each so I could decide what was actually best for our family. They really take the time to help you find what you want while also making sure you're getting something that is good quality and built to last. That kind of personal service is exactly why we've gone back to Wilson's again and again over the years. If you're looking for a locally owned appliance store in Conroe, TX for a refrigerator, washer and dryer, freezer, mattress, or other home appliances, I highly recommend Wilson's Appliances. I'm so excited to see them open their new Conroe location and could not recommend them more!

A Hotpoint 15.5 Cubic Foot Refrigerator displayed in the showroom area of the Appliance Outlet Store located at 32211 FM 2978 in Magnolia, TX 77354 was purchased on August 29, 2023. The unit we viewed was in pristine condition. The transaction was completed by Mike in the sales department. The unit was delivered the following week by a third-party delivery service contracted by Appliance Outlet. It was shrink wrapped upon arrival and was installed by the delivery personnel in a designated area of our garage between a wall and a shelving unit. Paperwork was signed and the delivery service departed. The front of the refrigerator was flawless, however, closer inspection revealed that there was severe damage to the upper, right-side corner and the upper right side of the freezer door and the lower right side front surface where the refrigerator door seals to the frame. The unit runs more than it should and consumes a lot of energy. Condensation forms inside the refrigerator section because the door will not seal properly. Mike, the salesperson, was contacted immediately. During our conversation, Mike mentioned that he did not recall any damage to the unit we were shown. Mike requested that we text pictures of the damaged areas for evaluation. Several days passed before a response was received by Mike, only to tell us that we needed to contact the customer service department because he was in sales and did not handle customer service or warranty issues. Four calls were placed with the customer service department before a response was finally received. Our request for a replacement unit or a refund was denied, and we have since been ghosted by Appliance Outlet. Two causes for the damage are possible: The first being we were shown the pristine refrigerator in the showroom and a damaged unit from the store warehouse was delivered instead (AKA bait and switch). Or the delivery service did not properly secure the refrigerator in the truck, and it fell over inside the truck while enroute causing severe damage. Neither the Appliance Outlet nor the delivery service will take responsibility or be accountable for the damaged unit.

Took me a while to figure out how this company does business. If you read the 4- and 5-star…read morereviews, they're all from people who did major projects - thousands of dollars. If you're like me, looking for ideas for a couple of items (kitchen sink and new faucet), don't expect to get anyone's serious attention at the store. They work almost exclusively with big-dollar clients and pretty much by appointment only. That said, it's a great place to go look for ideas and to kick a few tires - no one seems to mind if you want to spend an hour or so just browsing. I give them two stars instead of one because they really do have a great layout with loads of different manufacturers and wide-ranging price points for all items, much more so than you'll find at Lowe's or Home Depot. It's a great toy store when you need something for your kitchen or bath - just understand how they do business before you walk in expecting something different. I picked out the items I needed and called their online sales desk - got a GREAT rep who was a delight to work with. Everything was delivered in a timely manner, and it has all been installed (found my own handyman to do the work). Yes, I'll go back if I have another similar need or if I'm ready to spend a lot more money - this time I'll know what to expect.

Who I suspect is the owner of this business, came out to my home to assess my double oven problem…read more After looking at my oven, I was quoted to replace the service panel. I agreed to the repair, which was very costly, and presented him with a $250 check as a deposit. This morning, the day after the service call, my oven suddenly started working. I contacted the company and told them of this event. I was told there would be no refund of my deposit, as that was his policy. I offered to compensate him for the service call, and he stated that there were no refunds. He finally agreed to refund $100. I provided him information to refund the $100, and he managed to mess up that refund. He then stated that I needed to set up a new account with the messed up name that he processed the refund under. I refused, and told him I had other accounts he could use. He still insisted that I set up the account with the incorrect information. I again stated that he could use one of my other accounts. While waiting for a response I did place a stop payment on the check. He finally responded. I sent him $150 for the service call. This was a total fiasco. It was not like I didn't text him the name and phone number for the account he messed up. I do not believe he understands English very well, and obviously does not read it very well. I do not recommend doing business with this company. Zero stars. I had to give a one star rating to be able to post this review.
