However, when I called the next morning after the delivery, he was unhelpful and unpleasant! Initially, I was excited to use my new range! However, that evening, I noticed that the outside became extremely hot while baking a pizza. I called the next morning, and Eric answered the phone. He was rude and dismissed my concerns, stating that ranges are going to get hot. He transferred my call to Daniel, who argued with me, insisting that he didn't want to "play ring around the Rosie with me and ranges!" During another conversation, Daniel made it clear that this wasn't a "blouse I bought at Walmart that I wanted to return!" These responses were unacceptable! Consequently, I decided not to exchange the range and will not purchase from this unpleasant and unprofessional company again. I am disappointed with the poor customer service provided by this local appliance store. After enduring several unpleasant phone calls and writing a letter to them (which included a statement from their own service representative who inspected the range and identified a "poor design issue"), I finally received a refund. While they may be satisfactory when you make a purchase, they offer terrible customer service if you encounter any problems, even if you contact them within the 48-hour window after delivery. I cannot recommend this company!

It was scheduled for delivery to our home in La Pine on November 12, 2025. The Account Manager, Stephen Mount, met us shortly after our arrival. He was pleasant and cordial when showing us the various examples of the Speed Queen washers and dryers. He carefully explained the similarities and differences which we examined and considered. We settled on the stackable model because of our limited laundry room space. The stackable gave us additional useful space. The delivery, hookup, and demonstration took place by their delivery personnel Kyle and Axel. Both individuals were obviously experienced and very careful in both old appliance removal new appliance installation. The 4" exhaust tube was readily cut to an appropriate length and hooked up by two clamps. The 4-prong 240V electrical cord was only 6 feet long and barely reached the outlet at the bottom of the wall. However, Kyle was able to reverse the outlet plugin to make it fit. A slight recommendation on my part would be to carry both a 6-foot and 8-foot 240V cord to accommodate these instances. I'm highly impressed with both the knowledge and professionalism of their store staff and technical staff. They make purchases very easy and painless. I highly recommend Johnson Brothers for any household appliances you may need. They have a plethora of types, styles, and sizes to fit the need of every homeowner.

If I had treated customers this way when I worked retail, my manager would have chewed me out on the spot. After multiple failed attempts navigating an unresponsive automated system, I finally reached three different employees--none of whom seemed remotely familiar with the product I was calling about, or even the word "Wi-Fi." By the time I got an answer, I could have driven to the store and back. When I finally did visit the store, it somehow got worse. Associates shouldn't offer help unless they're capable of actually helping. Two different employees gave me wrong directions and incorrect information; the first even contradicted what I was told on the phone and didn't seem to know the store carried the item at all. Then, while in the store, I witnessed one of the most unprofessional interactions I've seen in retail. Two employees--Tyler and Ryan--were speaking with a customer who had clearly taken a photo showing that a product on the shelf was mislabeled. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, they implied the customer's photo was wrong or staged. Their tone and attitude were dismissive and defensive. Out of curiosity, I went to check the aisle myself, and sure enough, the item was mislabeled exactly as the customer said. The entire exchange was genuinely disgusting to watch. If my own employees ever behaved that way toward a customer, they'd be getting their final paycheck the next day. Absolutely disposable behavior. I left my items on the shelf and walked out. I'd rather give my money to Amazon and wait a couple of days than support a company that employs people like that. And that's the real shame here--I want to support local stores and the people who work in them. I'd much rather spend my money in my community than contribute to a company that mistreats its workers. But service like this makes that almost impossible to justify. It's not just poor service--it's embarrassing. I'd be embarrassed to work for a company that accepts this level of indifference, and honestly, I'm embarrassed that I shopped there

They are factory authorized by most, maybe all, major appliance companies so warranty work is covered. For out of warranty work their prices are fair and reasonable. The administrative management team is great for scheduling and follow up. The technicians arrive when they are supposed to and always get the job done. If you're having premium brand name appliances serviced and Technician Ken West shows up you will be particularly fortunate. Ken has been at our homes in Bend several times over the last fifteen years, including today when he once again was able to diagnose and resolve the problem all in one visit. Ken has many years of experience (he also once worked for Johnson Brother's Appliance), he knows his stuff in technical skills and he is simply the nicest guy as well.

Al…read morelistened to me while I gave him a detailed "Gone With the Wind" description regarding my ten year old Frigidaire with a freezer compartment maintaining the 40-degree temperature while the fridge compartment was sustaining roughly room temperature. When I finished the story, Al suggested a couple people that are fridge experts, and he then said that he is actually a Washer-Dryer specialist. I thanked Al for the suggestions, and told him I was so appreciative, that if I have a problem with my washer and/or dryer, he would be the first call I would make. All that based on his super high ratings. Well, here it is, about five years later (I got a new fridge to replace the other one in 2022... nothing was delivering during the peak COVID years), and my washer kept giving me F- 11 faults. I leaped for the phone and called Al. and got scheduled and he did a great job - especially with my old washer which is very limited in parts still being available. The washer (a Kenmore a.k.a. Whirlpool) started humming again rather than driving me nuts going into a "fault" mode for the five years mentioned earlier. Not longer than that, my dryer motor gave up the ghost, and this time, Al found a good-condition used motor, and viola, it ran again. When I knew the system was back running again, I told Al that if one of them kicks the bucket, I'll give him them so he can refurbish them and I'll get myself a new one. I dread the day that happens because I'm not a fan of artificial intelligence. Watch a re-run of "2001, Space Odyssey" and check out Hal 9000 again for a refresher of what is coming up in the world. I am not sure about all the digital gobble de-goop coming up. I only can think how difficult it will be when Mr. Al Harris is not around to reboot Hal 9000's broken A.I.-infested equipment while he still can make the antique ones quietly humming along. Al is a legend indeed. A rare man and worthy of all these five star reviews.

My daughter contacted him after a few months to check on the handle as she had never heard back from him. He stated he had forgotten and would get it ordered. Very disappointing and frustrating especially with the 6 month guarantee running out.

We have businesses where we second hand as much as possible with regular turnover (we do not sell the products, we use them). In the past we spent so much at this store that one time the person ringing us up commented about it. They saw something in the system (connected to our phone number) about our total spent YTD and their eyes got wide, so we explained what we do for our business and that what they could see was just for their location. What I am saying is... we have a pulse on what is a good and fair price for these sort of things. I looked at a couch not to long ago at this location. It was half off. The price was still, with the discount, over $1600. When you pay 0% for your inventory you should not be charging consignment prices. Full stop. It is a poor business choice. The idea is to turn over the inventory because more is coming while passing on a lovely savings to your customers. Not hang on to it while it collects dust because you've out priced the new items being manufactured. Know your customer base and price accordingly. We have left empty handed from this store every single visit this year (2026) because the prices have skyrocketed. For reference, we were looking for a washer and dryer...found one brand new at Lowe's cheaper than this Restore had (used no less). That is why I am writing this review. If the free inventory you receive is higher priced than the brand new inventory from the original store...well...here's your sign. So, we will likely have to drop this store from our rotation because time is precious and we cannot waste trips when we could find a better resource to take its place. That's just how it goes, I guess, but it saddens us because we like to support good causes and keep things out of the dump.
