Walked past saw this little gem and liked the menu so off I went. It was 8 but they still let us have the early bird menu which was two courses for 25 Euro which is amazing around Dingle restaurants. We shared everything and got the goats cheese salad, fish cake, mussels and risotto and I couldn't stop eating everything was so good. I have to say the goats cheese and risotto were my favourite and huge portions! All came with chips, Two salads and two types of home made soda bread. The atmosphere was like being at your fancy aunts house who's rich and makes real good food.

This was our favorite splurge night in Western Ireland. The food was amazing. The service was the best of any place we visited.

We ordered the following: Starters *House cured salmon and cod in nori seaweed - excellent, sushi quality, the cod was nice and salty, portion wasn't the largest *Warm smoked mackerel with horseradish and dill dressing - really tasty and a nice portion *Flash pan squid with chiles and coriander- outstanding with a kick Mains *Pan fried black sole on the bone, dill, and toasted almond butter-maybe the star of the show, a large portion, fall of the bone and the toasted almond butter was awesome *OOTB fish selection; John Dory, sole and halibut fillets served with a lobster sauce - the fish was great, but the lobster sauce had zero flavor *Dingle bay lobster from the tank- we got the last one, it was excellent The beer and wine were excellent. The service was great. The interior had a tile floor with a sort of Mexican fishing village theme. Reasonably priced for top level fresh seafood. Highly recommend.

The front is a basic and unassuming, but neat, blue building. Inside remains simple, but quality, with light wood, soft light, and sea themed decor. As the menu changes so frequently, a dish can run out that evening, it is handwritten on a chalkboard that is brought to the table. It was very difficult to choose, the entire menu was well done. The brown bread was also the best of the trip, theirs had more seeds and the right balance of dense. Be careful to not fill up on bread as you will not want to miss any of the rest of the meal. Since the menu changes so frequently, describing what we ordered is not helpful. Both dishes were incredible, fresh, cooked perfectly, and with interesting and well matched ingredients. We ate every possible bite. We managed to save room and share a dessert, worth every calorie. I'm surprised to see any negative reviews. In my option, for the quality of the meal, the prices were completely reasonable. If you are in Dingle (which if you go to Ireland you absolutely should as the town deserves a visit), make reservations!

We sat in the back at a comfortable table, the seating is spaced well enough to provide privacy. The sound level is also comfortable. For drinks we ordered a port wine and a local stout. Both were satisfying. Our starter of mussels was absolutely superb. The mussels were sweet and tender. The sauce that bathed the fish was really delicious. I ordered the spicy Spanish fish stew. The fish were truly fresh and delicious. The stew sauce was a bit spicy and also excellent. It would have been a great soup on its own. My wife ordered the halibut served with a mushroom sauce. The sauce was great, the fish was high quality and fresh, but it was absolutely tasteless. The preparation by steaming unfortunately ruined an otherwise very good fish dish. Our dessert, the Sticky Toffee Pudding was really good. It has lots of flavor and whole sweet, wasn't overly so. I would have wanted to give Doyle's 5*. But with a very expensive entree being mediocre, it would not have been honest. We told the staff our impression and to their credit, they were completely receptive. I would absolutely return for another meal here, but would be careful to ask how the specials are prepared.

This was done through email on their website and was seamless. This restaurant is on its way to a Michelin star, in my opinion. I'm maybe not a total foodie, but I have eaten in many excellent restaurants and this is among them. All the food we were served seemed to be local and freshly prepared. Even down to the house pickles. Every part of each dish was curated and prepared with thought. The flavors all worked together seamlessly and the dishes were beautiful to look at and to eat. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable, and gracious in answering all of our questions. And we had many of them considering we are not locals and we were fascinated with their creations and selections of food. I highly recommend land to Sea restaurant if you're in Dingle. It would not surprise me if it soon earns a star and you will not be able to get a reservation. Go now!

That being said, she was not Irish (every Irish person we came in contact with were lovely!). She sat us and told us the soup was Tomato bisque and I was very excited because it's one of my favorites and I'm a vegetarian (not vegan). There was an early special and you could choose 2 or 3 options. I chose the soup and a fish dish. It did take quite a while for a server to show up and take our order. It then took a long time to get our drinks and it wasn't very busy at that point. The soup was delivered and it was lamb stew. I understand mistakes can happen. The server said I could choose something else on the menu and I didn't see anything that was vegetarian or that I liked. I said the fish alone would be fine. I did not like it at all. It wasn't flavorful. I'm sorry, I know it's an unpopular opinion as I saw many 5 star reviews, but I am very surprised that this is a Michelin restaurant. I would like to add that my husband really enjoyed his meal and the atmosphere was great. Maybe a bad night for them? Or maybe I was just hangry.

Fortunately, we were early enough that we were able to get in here. We saw many turned away shortly after we arrived. Heads up that they have signs pointing to two entrances for the restaurant, but the one on the left side of the building is the correct one. The sign on the right side of the building leads into the kitchen. Yes, we found this out the hard way! The menu features local fish and shellfish and they also serve some local beer and cider. I went with the monkfish and prawn curry and it was very good. The fish and prawns were sweet, flavorful and cooked perfectly and the curry didn't overpower them. The description said the curry also included vegetables, but other than a garnish, these seemed absent. Others in our group enjoyed their fish as well. They had sides of vegetables that weren't seasoned so I'd suggest coming here for the fish, which is what they do very well. As with many places, they were understaffed, but service was fine for our purposes. The atmosphere is casual and includes a fireplace that is likely lit in cooler weather as it did look like a true working fireplace.
