Arrived in Dingle and after checking into our B&B we walked into town for dinner. Popped into the Courthouse Pub and discovered they don't serve food but the bartender told us to try Adam's - that it wouldn't disappoint. He was right! Service was excellent and the food was as good! We tried the Steak Sandwich, Spinach and Gruyere pancake (crepe), fries and drinks; definitely recommend any of them. read more

Excellent experience with classic Irish food, cozy interior, and reasonable prices. It was a rainy cold day when we stumbled into this restaurant after seeing the high praise on Google. This particular pub was strange. The staff was not very friendly and when the lady gave me the wrong beer, she argued with me that she gave me the right beer. She served me apple cider which does not have a foamy head on it so she finally realize that she gave me the wrong beer and poured me a new one. Food tasted OK but within about 20 minutes after eating there pretty much everybody had a find a toilet. Would not recommend. read more

Spending the day/night in Dingle, so I had to hit as many Irish pubs as possible! As I am making my way down main St., poppin in and poppin out of pubs, we were told to go to Adams. We stopped here for some day drinking, and were not let down! Small pub (by Irish standards, all pubs are small), friendly wait staff, and cold beer....just my kinda place! Walked in, bellied up to the bar, and had myself a Heineken. Friendly chit chat with the locals there, laughter all around, a great place to visit! We did not try the food, but it sure looked good. Great location, great people watching, great fellowship with others...I want to go back NOW! If you are ever stopping over in Dingle, give Adams a try...even if it's to get off your feet for a minute and have a drink! read more

This is one of the best places we've stayed at in all of Ireland on a 5 week trip. We liked it so much that we decided to come back here before we left. The beds are super comfortable, the rooms are very clean, and the ambiance is lovely. It is elegant yet chic. It is perfectly located and quiet, even with a street view, which we love. On a whirlwind 2 week vacation to Ireland, the girlfriend & I tried to see & experience absolutely as much of this incredible land as we could. We did not accomplish every last activity we wished we could have on our rather ambitious itinerary. Nonetheless, we did discover a land of numerous stunning & magical wonders. We did see a land of unending natural beauty. We did learn of a land with a monumentally long history of trials, tragedies & triumphs. We did get to meet many kind, humorous, warm & generous people. Our vacation to Ireland was just 2 weeks, but that was time enough to know this is a land easy to love & a land to be sorely missed. The girlfriend & I spent a nice long day driving around & exploring the Dingle Peninsula. Around lunchtime, we figured we'd stop in the town of Dingle itself, walk around a little to check out the town & find a place to grab a bite to eat. On a quiet street near the back side of town, we noticed a simple looking little pub & thought we'd give it a go. Adams Pub was indeed small & simple with dark wood furnishings throughout. We sat at the bar & ordered a couple pints of Guinness, a Seafood Chowder each & split a Side Salad. The bartender was courteous but aloof. Our food took a little while which gave us time for some people watching with our pints of Guinness. When the food arrived, we were in for a shock. The Seafood Chowder was the best both of us could remember having & possibly the best ever. We would have seafood chowders again during our time in Ireland, but this was the best of the entire trip. Lots of big chunks of fresh fish & plenty of mussels all in a delicate but flavor-packed chowder. Yum, yum, yum. The side salad was OK. I think the girlfriend liked it more than I did. The ingredients were fresh, but the dressing didn't quite do it for me. Driving all over the Dingle Peninsula, we saw beautiful countryside everywhere & magnificent seaside vistas. The perfect complement to such a wonderful day was the unexpected discovery of an incredibly yummy Seafood Chowder in a small pub in Dingle. read more

If you're in Dingle, IE do yourself a favor and stop in for their Calamari at least...Best I've ever had, EVER. So different from the stuff in the states. The fry on it was AMAZING! And if you need a recommendation on food, or a solid pint to wash it down with, Dan will take care of you! He's a great guy, and has led us well so far! I'm typing this from the my bar stool because it deserves it that much. Oh my, the Adams Fire just arrived, and the smells from this sandwich have me in heaven! Holy smokes, this sandwich is good. Walked in right when it opened. I was greeted by a friendly woman (who I assumed owned the place) she set us right up. My wife and I had some delicious fisherman's pie, which was made with several kinds of smoked fish. They even gave us a salad and fries, which it did not say it came with. Very reasonable price less than 30 euros for my wife and I, plus drinks - definitely recommend. read more

So what I thought would begin as a normal night, ended up being one of the best experiences I have had in Dingle thus far. This bar is the perfect portrayal of Irish hospitality, the bartender I first met Dan is absolutely exemplary, and the musical act Bryan is sublime. I would truly rate his higher if I could as this is the ideal spot in dingle to get a casual pint and enjoy some truly amazing music. read more

Good place to rest your feet, get your bearings, and jump on free WiFi, ohhh, foods great too. A solid Irish coffee (it's workin for me)

We stopped here on a short trip thru Dingle. Our bar tender Caoilfhionn was great, she helped us find a local accommodation and provided excellent service. The food was good and reasonably priced. All and all I would recommend stopping in here. There are many places to eat in Dingle, this one is high on my list. read more

The best part about this place, besides the massive food portions, is the banter. The conversation was what I was after and I experienced it with the two young bartenders working that day. Pleasant, helpful, and funny. With so many pub options in Dingle, it's easy to find some who simply go through the motions seeing so many tourists day after day. I didn't find that to be the case at Adams. Lovely place. I'll be back. read more

We had a good lunch here and would stop on again if there weren't so many good restaurants in Dingle. The minestrone was good, and so was the chowder, though we thought the chowder at The Chowder Cafe was even better, as good as any we've had. Brown bread was better than average, as was the sandwich. read more
