We had a seat at the bar (there aren't many) and had a front row seat for the music. After a few pints, I settled on fish and chips. I am not really a fish fan, but this was outstanding. The fish was lightly breaded and fried and was cooked perfectly. Yum!!!! Music started and he was super entertaining. So glad we stopped here.

Maybe the best custom Irish souvenir of our trip! And a bargain at 60 Euros Cash. Gayle and I enjoyed watching him work and I appreciated his no-nonsense approach, first by warning me that if a person that had shown up earlier came back, I would move down the line. He didn't and it helped that I knew and told him exactly what I wanted. Having my previous belt handy helped at 2 stages in the process. The belt also has the shop's stamp, my initials, and an Irish knot stamp. Great work and experience! p.s. - I did separately enjoy a wee pint of Dick Macks IPA at another Pub.

Not sure if this is *actually* a hardware store given the aged and limited selection on the…read morehardware side (you do buy the shirts from the hardware vs the bar side so maybe...) but this hardware + bar is a very unique pub experience with the entry area that features both sides of the equation, a secondary room that is more Irish pub (complete with a real crackling fireplace) and then an outdoor beer garden area. The service is friendly and the drinks are reasonable. Definitely recommended in Dingle. UPDATE: Spoke to a local in another bar who confirmed it does function as a hardware store as well, but there's always a risk that you come in to buy something and find yourself drinking a pint or three instead.

Ah, Paddy Bawn's -- the only pub in Dingle where you can get kicked out for trying to order a pint…read more We stopped in last Saturday 18th October as part of a 30th birthday crawl -- a friendly, jovial group of lads who managed to make it through every other pub in town with ZERO trouble. The pints were flowing, the craic was mighty, and for a moment, life was peachy.. Then came the Guinness Incident in Paddy Bawns. I'd just ordered a small round, including one Guinness for a friend. Moments later, another friend arrived late and asked if I could add another Guinness to the order. Apparently, that request was an outrageous act of rebellion. The barman, clearly burdened by the great tragedy of having to pull two pints of Guinness, looked me dead in the eye and said, "F*** you." When I (quite reasonably) asked if everything was alright with him, I was swiftly rewarded with an ejection -- courtesy of the owner, summoned to do the dirty work. No conversation, no explanation, just out the door I went. The best part? I wasn't even given the chance to pay for the order. So the lads enjoyed their free Guinnesses -- courtesy of Paddy Bawn's, the pub so committed to bad service they'll pay you to leave. A night to remember. Five stars for comedy, one for service. In Fairness like, how dare the customer ask the man serving pints -- to serve another pint.

We ended up at his pub and decided to drink our dinner. The bartender Amanda was PERFECT, not in your face friendly, but just nice and smart. The pub was packed and she was the one and only bartender and I never waited more than a minute for my next beer. I honestly didn't know how she got around to everyone. There was some amazing live traditional Irish music playing. Ended up meeting some very cool locals and some of the musicians. Everyone was unbelievably amazing. I honestly couldn't believe it. Of all the pubs we vistied during our visit this one was our favorite, the best tasting Guinness, best music (by far), and best service. I would visit Ireland again just to spend another evening in this pub.

Her voice is so beautiful it will shush an entire pub! Prices also seemed cheaper here than at other pubs in Dingle - it may have just been us trying to stretch our Euro, but a pint of Guinness just seemed loads cheaper than other pubs. Loved it!
