A popular place in terms of its size and ability to handle large crowds. Tip: get here before 5:30 to get a seat for dinner. After 6, it is a waiting list. As I read the other reviews, I agree the food and service are about average. The Shepard's pie, for example, had a good portion of meat, but not a lot of flavor. The dinner crowd was treated to an older musical pair, but I think they were fine (unlike a reviewer who scored the place a 1 on that point).

We had dinner here our last night in town in late September. We were glad we came early arriving before 6 because the tables filled fast. Soon after we arrived people were being directed to the bar area to wait if they wanted a table for dinner. I had a Guinness and Guinness and beef pie with chips and salad. The Guinness was excellent as always, and the food was decent. The meat and mushrooms were in what was closer to a broth than being stew-like so a little tricky to eat with a fork. We finished with Dingle Core whiskey which was excellent. The music was the highlight of the experience here; the two musicians did a great job and I appreciated that the volume was perfect; it was easy to hear and enjoy but not so loud that you had to yell to communicate. Service was fast as they definitely want to turn tables here.

We stopped in at the Dingle Pub for a late lunch while in Dingle. The servers were very friendly and helpful and didn't make use feel less because we had kids with us, which was great. My husband and I both opted for burgers, one daughter got the Thai noodles and the other Shepards pie. (They do not have a kids menu). The food was all really good and my husband got to try a local amber ale. We also tried fried Brie which was amazing. We would definitely come back.

Sad musicians.

One of the worst Pubs that I have ever been to. Touristy, but the town is too. Unbelievably rude bar tenders. They were so rude we almost walked out. Obvious they do not like their job, not happy, hate tourist, don't get paid well, don't care and not representative of Ireland. Could not have ben ruder. Our table had beer and was listening to the horrible music, and wait staff brought hamburger to our table, said it was not ours (would not eat at this place) and server grunted and took it back and was irritated. The music was so sad. Old hippy couple who might have been good about 30 years ago. No way to leave a tip and I think they did not care which was baffling. This place is a tourist trap and did not appear to have many locals. Bathroom smelled like an open grave. Only thing good was the door was big and easy to leave. Everyone we talked with in the Pub said it was disappointing. Avoid like the plague.

So many neat pubs in downtown Dingle, so we had to check out the Dingle Pub!. Super busy Sat. night post Gaelic Football match on TV. Later in the evening so we skipped dinner, but a great hang spot to watch some local live music. An older guy was playing some random Irish folk music, and would mix in some everyday classics we all could sing along to. Later on a younger brother duo stepped in and jammed on a guitar and banjo. Surprising easy to get drinks being so busy. Food looked and smelled great even though we had eaten earlier. This pub is right on the main street through town and can't be missed. If you're lucky enough to travel to the Dingle Peninsula, head down town and check them out.

I thought the shepherd's pie was piping hot, savory flavor. Not really any carrots, but big chunks of tender beef. Goid broth. Came with a small salad and chips (fries). The chips were excellent. My partner's beef stew also hearty and flavorful. Service was good. Nice ambiance.

The Dingle Pub is an eye-catcher: you cannot miss the white building with the green shamrocks. I think that's what drew us in to have a pint (a Sprite for pregnant me) while we were enjoying a walk around town. Even though we sat at the bar, we had poor service and had to keep flagging down the barkeep (there were 4-5 behind the bar) for another drink. They spent an awful lot of time socializing amongst themselves vs. observing customer's empty glasses and cues for refills. Flagging each time took multiple attempts because of this. It IS a spot for regulars! One elderly man came in to join his friends (and later ask every woman if she wanted to dance) and kept pushing into me, so close that he was elbowing me in the breast! This happened repeatedly. I'm not sure if he was already inebriated, was clueless, or was being intentionally rude. He essentially created his own spot at the bar since I had to move over so much. Maybe that was his goal? It was extremely uncomfortable and made my focus shift from enjoying my company to having to combat this guy invading my personal space. The live music was just okay: there was a couple playing music, and another person joined in, which was fun. Honestly, though, it wasn't enough of a draw to warrant a return visit.

You will have so much fun visiting the Dingle Pub. The Irish dancer who performs is incredible and the vibe is friendly and entertaining.

Came for after dinner drinks, Guinness of course, and the local band was playing. Good music, good people, good times...recommended.

I have to give a special shoutout to the vegan burger--it was absolutely outstanding. Perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and thoughtfully put together with great toppings and a delicious bun. It's not always easy to find a truly satisfying vegan option in a pub, but this one exceeded expectations. The veg soup was also really good--comforting, hearty, and clearly homemade. And the salad greens were incredibly fresh and crisp, which added a nice, light balance to the meal. Great food, friendly service, and a lovely setting. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in Dingle!

We were seated at a nice booth, and next to an interesting group of folks speaking French. Our waitress was fun and engaging, even when she told us that they were out of Smithwicks. I gladly chose a glass of Rockshore Lager instead. My Lunch choice was an Open Ploughman, as it looked interesting and wanted to avoid yet another Irish meal featuring potatoes. That was pretty tasty, as was Gayle's Prawn and Salmon dish. Nice place!
