Seafood linguini! Scallops salmon monkfish calamari prawns langostines mussels

I'll preface this review by stating that if you read my restaurant reviews you know I'm brutally honest about my experience and the food - good and bad. Doyle's was Absolutely unbelievable! The food was UNREAL! The waitress recommended the seafood linguine which was huge so we shared that with the bruschetta which was equally as amazing. The bruschetta was a goats cheese and so so good. The whole dish popped when it can very commonly be bland and boring. Hands down best meal we've had in a long time. Do not stop in Dingle without going here and be sure to get the linguini. You won't be sorry. All the guests around us (very friendly place!) were all talking about how much they loved their dishes as well in the event you want something different! 10/10 stop if you're at Dingle!

Amuse of scallop, langoustine, shrimp, mussels in a perfect broth with fresh herbs

Doyle's is the diamond in the rough that is Dingle's dining drudgery. Don't miss. Get your dolphin, your drive around the Slea Head Drive, and DOYLE'S, a respite for gourmands. Tucked quietly at the _opposite_ end of the tourist trap that is Dingle Main St, find Doyle's, solidly a shining star on the peninsula. Chef owner Sean leads a talented and skillful brigade in creating sublime preparations of fresh local seafood. Here were mine: (+++ cocktail of Dingle gin (bursting with floral juniper) and sparkly proseco with a splash of citrus.) + Nice selection of wines and spirits to satisfy whatever mood you're in. +++ amuse of seafood bites. Langoustine, stone crab claw, scallop, prawn, mussels. United by a delectable broth of coriander +++ seafood chowder. Milky and pillowy combination of soft, perfectly cooked bites of fish and bright, flavorful chives ++ spring roll. Freshly made, bounteous bits and bites of crab, sweet corn, in a crispy wrapper ++ seafood linguine. Another feast of seafood pleasure bound by plush tomato broth. SPICY! Slices of hot peppers! Easily for two. If you have to choose just one, this is it. Unfortunately the prawns were cooked whole and not deveined. I think its a European thing. :/ ++ Whole sole. Delicious, soft and meaty! Whoa that's a big fish! +++ dessert by my special request (off menu) was a special treat. Strawberries with mint, black pepper, balsamic reduction, cream and vanilla. Further completing your path to blissful dining is the friendly, helpful and professional front of house staff. Don't miss it. HINT: Got screamy kids? Think you deserve a kids menu wherever you go? Sorry, but diners are for New Jersey, and this isn't one.

Pleasant, a bit old school, great seafood. Best seafood chowder we had in Ireland, and we had a lot. Loved my whole cooked dole.

Dingle's crème de la crème. Simply, the greatest Seafood of all-time! Outstanding from start to finish (main entree to dessert). 5-Stars is an under-statement, make it 6! The salmon just melts in your mouth so-good. SEAFOOD PARADISE!!!

Seafood chowder at Doyle's in Dingle

The deskman at our hotel recommended this place to us. So my friend and I decided to try it. It did not disappoint. The food there is amazingly good. Started out with the chowder as an appetizer. Best seafood chowder I ever had. Had the salmon as my main course and it was melt-in-my-mouth good. My friend had the lamb and it was very tender and flavorful. I give this restaurant two thumbs up! Definitely add it to your bucket list if you're visiting Dingle.

Hake with mushroom risotto and that amazing sun dried tomato pesto!

The front is a basic and unassuming, but neat, blue building. Inside remains simple, but quality, with light wood, soft light, and sea themed decor. As the menu changes so frequently, a dish can run out that evening, it is handwritten on a chalkboard that is brought to the table. It was very difficult to choose, the entire menu was well done. The brown bread was also the best of the trip, theirs had more seeds and the right balance of dense. Be careful to not fill up on bread as you will not want to miss any of the rest of the meal. Since the menu changes so frequently, describing what we ordered is not helpful. Both dishes were incredible, fresh, cooked perfectly, and with interesting and well matched ingredients. We ate every possible bite. We managed to save room and share a dessert, worth every calorie. I'm surprised to see any negative reviews. In my option, for the quality of the meal, the prices were completely reasonable. If you are in Dingle (which if you go to Ireland you absolutely should as the town deserves a visit), make reservations!

The chef(s) should be very proud of this one. The wagyu burger sent me to another realm. The party must've had minced onion or seasoning mixed into the meat which gave flavor in every single bite. SERVICE Delightful and welcoming servers. They were on it with replenishing drinks and asking how everything was. AMBIANCE From the outside, the place appears very unassuming. It's nothing that will catch your eye, but if a local or guide is kind enough to tell you about this place, you're in for a treat. Inside, it's a small-to-medium pub experience but plenty of attention to the dining area. That's what you're there for. Cozy and intimate, and you're only an arm's reach away from the bar. This was done through email on their website and was seamless. This restaurant is on its way to a Michelin star, in my opinion. I'm maybe not a total foodie, but I have eaten in many excellent restaurants and this is among them. All the food we were served seemed to be local and freshly prepared. Even down to the house pickles. Every part of each dish was curated and prepared with thought. The flavors all worked together seamlessly and the dishes were beautiful to look at and to eat. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable, and gracious in answering all of our questions. And we had many of them considering we are not locals and we were fascinated with their creations and selections of food. I highly recommend land to Sea restaurant if you're in Dingle. That being said, she was not Irish (every Irish person we came in contact with were lovely!). She sat us and told us the soup was Tomato bisque and I was very excited because it's one of my favorites and I'm a vegetarian (not vegan). There was an early special and you could choose 2 or 3 options. I chose the soup and a fish dish. It did take quite a while for a server to show up and take our order. It then took a long time to get our drinks and it wasn't very busy at that point. The soup was delivered and it was lamb stew. I understand mistakes can happen. The server said I could choose something else on the menu and I didn't see anything that was vegetarian or that I liked. I said the fish alone would be fine. I did not like it at all. It wasn't flavorful. I'm sorry, I know it's an unpopular opinion as I saw many 5 star reviews, but I am very surprised that this is a Michelin restaurant. I would like to add that my husband really enjoyed his meal and the atmosphere was great. Maybe a bad night for them? Or maybe I was just hangry.

Fortunately, we were early enough that we were able to get in here. We saw many turned away shortly after we arrived. Heads up that they have signs pointing to two entrances for the restaurant, but the one on the left side of the building is the correct one. The sign on the right side of the building leads into the kitchen. Yes, we found this out the hard way! The menu features local fish and shellfish and they also serve some local beer and cider. I went with the monkfish and prawn curry and it was very good. The fish and prawns were sweet, flavorful and cooked perfectly and the curry didn't overpower them. The description said the curry also included vegetables, but other than a garnish, these seemed absent. Others in our group enjoyed their fish as well. They had sides of vegetables that weren't seasoned so I'd suggest coming here for the fish, which is what they do very well. As with many places, they were understaffed, but service was fine for our purposes. The atmosphere is casual and includes a fireplace that is likely lit in cooler weather as it did look like a true working fireplace.
