A welcoming tasting pavilion with excellent wines including stellar Janeway white blend and Barbera . Pairing was with small cups of chicken salad and corn salad. Staff were friendly and prices were reasonable.

We visited Fenton Herriott Vineyards where they were having their "Bottle Your Own" event. It was $12 per pottle and $120 per case. This was our first time visiting Fenton Herriott Vineyards and it was well worth the drive. There's something about vineyards and their breathtaking views. They had a beautiful gazebo that overlooked their vineyard. It also helped that the sun was setting giving that orange tint in the sky. When we inquired about the event, one of their staff gave us a tasting of their red blend specifically crafted for this event. After paying, she gave us a receipt and told us where we needed to go to bottle our wine. We headed down the hill from the parking lot to their cellar which took less than five minutes. There, a young man (I didn't catch his name) gave us the step by step process of what we needed to do. First, we grabbed our bottle, which was totally naked (no label). We filled our bottle with the wine and corked it through an automated machine. After that, we neatly labeled our bottle, placed the seal on top of the cork, and put the bottle through another machine that finally tightened the seal. And Voila! The whole process took less than ten minutes! As short as it was, we each had a fun experience. Once we were all finished, we headed back up and enjoyed the sunset before heading back home. From gorgeous views to their wonderful staff, Fenton Herriott Vineyards was easily one of my favorite vineyards we've visited so far. Knowing nothing about how to bottle our own wines, their staff made us feel both welcomed and reassured of ourselves. For just $12, we got a bottle of wine and an unforgettable experience. My roommates and I will be keeping close watch for future and upcoming events. If you're in the area, we definitely recommend visiting this vineyard out.

What a special, romantic, relaxed moment I spent with my love. The women were so knowledgeable & complimenting! The wine was amazing. Reds were my favorite. But the German wine for dessert was the best! Cold day but it was a nice vibe.

My favorite. Liked the red John Way too.

We had such a great time here even while sitting outside in the slightly smoky air. Beautiful grounds with lots of seating. The table was in the shade and there was a nice cooling breeze. We were assisted by Cindy and she was so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We really enjoyed the charcuterie box. The French green olives and Brie cheese were especially delicious. The wine flight tasting isn't set, the customer gets to choose 5 from about 15 or so wines, white and red. I loved the Jane Way. This was a great winery and I'd definitely visit again.

Nice and quiet atmosphere, and a good selection of wines. We did a wine tasting in the gazebo, enjoying a great view and having some salami and cheese we brought. They have a large picnic area that is great for having a nice outing while enjoying some wine. Prices were competitive and the staff we friendly.

My personal favorite was the Artichoke Florentine because the mint pesto is so refreshing for the summer. I also appreciate the low alcohol options, as it allows me to join in the fun despite my alcohol sensitivity. The vineyards and gardens are spectacular as usual; I highly recommend the main lake trail/loop for the shade it offers during the hot summer. The turtle pond is secluded and pleasant, but it's further and lacks shade, so I recommend bringing a parasol.

We truly couldn't have started his birthday any better. As for the food, I was a bit bummed that there wasn't a lunch or more robust meal offering. It slightly diminished the overall poshness of the experience, as we would have loved something beyond charcuterie while enjoying the wine. That said, we still had a wonderful time--and even became members--so that says a lot. I do hope they expand their food options in the future. If you're looking for a great atmosphere and delicious wine, I would absolutely recommend checking them out.

I loved how thoughtful their wine club is, too--it's a refillable bottle system, which makes it eco-friendly and super convenient. We ordered at the bar inside and then the wines were brought out to us on the patio. It took longer than expected to get our flights, and then we were a bit disappointed that the sommelier didn't spend much time telling us about the wines. She brought them out and told us what each wine on the flight was, then left and we never saw her again. We've had several amazing tasting experiences in wine country where the sommelier tells you many more details about the wines including where on the property the grapes are grown, how it is made, and what different notes we will taste in each wine. It was a pretty basic explanation and we didn't feel that it was very personable despite it being a slow weekday. We ordered two tastings but all the wines were brought out in small carafes, we couldn't tell if each one held enough wine for one of us or both of our tastings combined. This wasn't ever explained either, so we assumed it was for both of us to share. We still enjoyed having our wines on this beautiful property, and we were able to have our baby with us which was nice. We weren't very impressed with the wines themselves and did not have any favorites that we needed to purchase bottles of. It is $10 for a glass or a tasting which was quite the deal. The prices and atmosphere were great, but the wine and overall experience was average.
