** BUYER BEWARE -- FENTON CAFE DOES NOT HONOR GROUPONS** Earlier today, I bought a Groupon Now deal to use at Fenton Cafe. I stopped by around 3:45 pm to redeem. When I handed the Groupon to use, I was informed by the lady behind the counter that the deal had expired. This made no sense since the Groupon Now deals were meant to be used same day--and the Groupon itself said it was good until 7 pm (per the printed Groupon). That said, the lady who told me the bad news was pleasant and not rude about it--it seemed to be someone in the back or the other lady making the crepes who told her the Groupon was no good. So I can't speak for the crepes since I didn't buy anything. As much as I was craving crepes today, I don't want to spend my money at an establishment with shady business ethics. :-( Note: I've contacted Groupon about this incident and if Groupon tells me that it made a mistake when it posted the deal, then I'll take this review down or change the rating since this was not Fenton Cafe's fault. And I will happily go back and get some crepes. But if this truly was a case of Fenton Cafe not honoring the deal, then unfortunately I'll have to keep this review. (I hate that my first review had to be a 1-star review. Ugh.) read more

small spot but the lady cranks out her crepes like a mahine-ish. she has two griddles going i would rank this 5 stars if their chicken/meat options werent the precooked/deli meat/still cold from fridge servings. the crepe is definitely not on the griddle long enough to heat whatever protein you ask for all the way through, so it still arrives cold in the center. i wouldnt be against microwaving it a couple seconds before assembling everything. their banana honey almond crepe is amazing. Whoo-hoo! Finally, crepes in Silver Spring. Tried the lemon and sugar crepe served drizzled with chocolate and a bit of whipped cream. Outstanding. Can't wait to try more. Nice people running the place to boot. A winner. read more

Everyone was right. The sisters are amazing, the crepes are amazing, and I had a great cappuccino made with Illy Espresso. Chicken, tomato, pesto & avocado crepes = winning. Go here. Now. read more

Very good crepes here. In fact I ordered the wrong thing and when I realized my mistake (after they made it) they offered to make another one free of charge. I paid them in tip form. read more

There aren't that many crepe places in DC, so I'm not interested in decor or ambiance or even the air conditioner. If you've ever had a crepe in France (*raises hand*), you probably bought it from a stand and ate it on the street. Crepes are one of the best snacks/ light lunch you can get. Ok, so I'm a bit biased. This crepe was delicious. It was not dry and flaked off into nothing. There are sooo many to choose from, but I had the turkey and cheese. Nice and filling. Whenever I'm in downtown silver Spring, this lady can have my money. read more

I love crepes. I can't stress that enough and to find that there is an amazing crepe place in my own backyard. Let the food coma begin! I had a turkey cheese and egg crepe and it was a savory delight. I've also had a chocolate coconut and almond I think crepe and it satisfied a major sweet tooth. I'd go here again, and again and again. One thing to note, the wait for them to make your crepe can be a bit long. I actually placed my order and went the safeway across the street instead of waiting the 15 or so minutes. read more

It was my first time trying the spot. I ordered a number 13. ( spinach, feta cheese, tomatoes, caramelized onions) I paid full price. When I got my crepe it was missing tomatoes and caramelized onions. When I told them veggies were missing from my order, They said they didn't have any onions. I was confused because ( why wasn't I told that before I paid) I ask If they had tomatoes. They said yes! then I asked if I could get a side dish of tomatoes. Then they gave me a small dish of tomatoes. smh! I didn't get my money back, nor did they offer to make me another one. This is definitely a hole in the wall joint that you don't want to miss. Fenton cafe completely revolutionized my concept of a crepé. I hated crepés before Fenton. Now, I get my crepé fix at least once a month. I can't speak for anything else on the menu, but the crepés are worth every penny (and they're not expensive either!). read more

I had really bad service here. I wanted to get a fried egg sandwich to go -- and I was told that there were no more eggs. I then saw the person right after me order a crepe with eggs and spinach, no problem. When I asked how that was possible, the cashier was extremely impatient and rude. read more

Crepes are fresh and made with fresh, good quality ingredients. They're also large, satisfying any craving and filling enough for a meal. There were a ton of combinations and options, and they came out so delicious! I would definitely go again. read more

Amazing food, however was much nicer of an environment before popularized. Cute upgrades such as fairy lights, nice to have more space if you want to dine-in, but too crowded of a feel nowadays, and some new unnecessary upgrades such as digitized menu board. Prices are pricey, so if you want crepes cheap, this isn't the place for you. However if you want to splurge and eat crepes at home, I highly suggest getting their strawberry, banana, Nutella sweet crepes. read more

The crepes are really good here. I had the strawberry & banana with Nutella and I wanted another one! The atmosphere isn't much, but then what do you expect for an inexpensive crepes place in old Silver Spring. It was crowded, but I really didn't wait very long at all. Love the new addition of technology and this place. They now have BELLY, and I can get points while enjoying one of my fav desserts CREPES! This small coffee shop brings a nice and relaxing atmosphere to the the area. They are so friendly that they would bring the CREPE to wherever you are seated! Love love love this place! Just moved to this area a couple months ago and have already gone to this place numerous times..though only finding this place 1 month ago or less. Love it because it is less than a 5 min walk from my place. Their crepes are soooo delicious (had the apple and cinnamon one, nutella and strawberry, and the egg, tomato and cheese ones) The staff is more than friendly and will do whatever it takes to please their customers! Just after Hurricane Sandy storm, a few roommates and I took off to see any damage in Silver Spring and walked by Fenton Cafe not thinking they were open..but they were! Though sadly their credit/debit was not working (thankfully I brought just enough cash), but my 1 roommate didn't bring cash. The staff apologized many times, but my roommate said it was no problem! Shortly after, the staff brought my roommate a tea that she had tried to order on the house! Andddd...about 10 minutes later, they brought her a beautiful crepe (nutella and strawberry-a crepe that she also tried to order) on the house! They were too kind! Prices aren't that bad either...and you will be full after a visit here! I would only say that if you like ketchup with any of your savory crepes-bring your own ketchup...they don't have any. Other than that (VERY minor set back) GO GO GO! Sooo sooo good. read more

Great crepes !!! Best I ever had. Price is just right as well. The actual place is not the best. It's small only a few tables so on a Weekend morning you will be waiting. But those crepes are mad fast ! I had the fresh apple and cinnamon crepe and it was delicious. I want to try an egg and cheese one next. Definitely will be going back. read more

I love the crepes. This place has a cozy feel to it, possibly because there isn't much seating, but that doesn't really bother me. I have gone here numerous times both to meet up with friends and alone for a quick good meal. If you are lucky you may be able to snag a groupon to get $10 worth of food for $5. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the coffee is not the best, but it's definitely not the worst. Just a different taste.... I high recommend it otherwise. read more

Great place for brunch. The menu is so diverse. I got an eggplant crepe and a mocha. I sat outside with my partner and my dog on a late Sunday morning. The staff and customers were all very friendly. Highly recommend for a great relaxing weekend experience. read more

We've been coming here for years. I stopped in Tuesday for lunch - they've expanded next door. The crepes are still wonderful and the espresso is solid. I almost always have a savory crepe. Every time I leave I resolve to have a sweet crepe next time. Still haven't. The staff are always charming, no matter how crowded or busy it is. It's a great addition to the neighborhood. read more

We went on a Monday at about 1pm. We tried a savory crepe - eggs, turkey, cheese, tomatoes and a sweet crepe. Both were great and the lattes were exceptional - really surprised by how great the coffee was. The only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is the tables were a bit dirty and one place we went to sit had a broken chair. Service was friendly though and we will go back. read more
