They do ask spice level, and this was perfectly spicy. I was leery at first of the 'indo-chinese' part of the menu, usually anytime a menu has multiple ethnic cuisines not a good sign - that was not the case here. The noodles we got from that part of the menu were our favorite thing, very unique but in a good way. Then we got a traditional Indian korma that was creamy and delicious. Chicken tiki, which was perfectly grilled. We also tried the Halal food cart staple "chicken over rice" and it was really as good as my favorite west Philly cart, and only $1 more ($10). In all we got 4 main dishes that included rice and an order of naan and it was $50. I REALLY hope this spot advertises in Lansdowne and Drexel Hill, etc. - because we don't have any good Indian places nearby. The one in Aldan is very bland. I hope they go to Facebook and promote, go to events and pass out menus. Slight suggestion that they work on their telephone skills, they don't answer the phone "hello how may I help you?" Instead "yah?" Lol- whatever the food is good and the order was correct !! I really hope this place survives it was so good.

I've also tried a few more dishes and found a few in really like. The chicken tikka masala is probably my favorite. I know it's "British" Indian food but it's my favorite so far. They offer 5 spice levels. I go with the 5 but eat a lot of spicy foods, you should start lower and work your way up. The wings here are a surprising treat as well and come with a couple good dipping sauces. The main restaurant and bar is on one side and the stage on the other side of the building. For ticketed shows someone will be standing at the door into the music area selling tickets. They also have a number of free shows throughout the year check out the events section of their webpage. Pushpinder has done a great job with this place, always working with the music community and offering some great local bands. Stop in for some good Indian food and live music, they pair well together!

However, the fact that I just found out that Kabab & Naan has opened in Brookhaven which isn't far from me, an area that is a desert mostly devoid of good food from this area of the world. To make it even better, it was shown to me and suggested that we go there and wasn't even my idea! For two days I obsessed about finally being able to go here and mulled over and over and over what I was going to order, but nothing really prepared me for what was in store when I actually went to pick up and finally enjoy my meal. We happened to be out looking for Valentine's Day items to fill the girl's gift bags and the time had finally come... I am not one to usually order online because I much prefer the human interaction, but I do have to say that their online portal and site was very easy to navigate and order through, providing several different payment options and I was able to order very quickly. The hardest part was trying to decide what I really wanted. After going back and forth, we finally decided on a garlic "super" naan, with Jen going with tandoori chicken kebab and myself going with classic bhindi masala. This is where the magic really began. Upon opening the door to the restaurant, the scent hit me. Brilliant smoky and spiced, the tandoori wafting from the kitchen. The entire place smelled insanely good and isn't big. Just right for stopping in for a small group or picking up your food; it also holds up on your drive home as well, as our food was piping hot as if it had just come off the stove when we got back about fifteen to twenty minutes later and finally opened everything. Flavors completely on point and fresh, bright, perfect spiced to your request! I will be coming here much much more in the future.

Ive tried their Paneer Korma and it's exquisite, I think heartier than Tiffin's tbh. It's a small shop, located in a rather overlooked section of Narberth as far as I'm concerned, so there isn't a ton of space but it's very chill and the staff is friendly. We had been to Narberth once 2 years ago to walk and explore but didn't see this restaurant on that trip. Tried it last night, 8/7/26, for the first time and it checks so many boxes. First off, they were super attentative and polite when we called to make our reservation and our call from the car to inform of a traffic delay. The place is clean, except unfortunately since they do a lot of take out as we had observed, lots a flies get in and buzz around (exterminated 4 at our table during the course of our dining experience.) But don't let that dissuade you. They have a large menu, and customize levels to fit eveyone's taste. When trying new Indian restaurants we usually start off with basic dishes to get a feel from their cooking style. We shared two dishes: llamb rogan jost medium spice and chicken tikka masala aslo medium spice and an order of garlic naan (well 2 orders as we needed more and took some home... it was that good). Both dishes were exactly as expected and both for the most part were tender and moist. Lamb can sometimes be chewy. We loved our choices and dunked away into the sauces with the naan. Street meter parking and they are BYOB. We have booked marked Srinagar for a future pre-concert dinner in the area of the Mann Pavilon. See my food photos

It's very well lit in the restaurant, for some, maybe bright is a better term. To me it reiterates a casual atmosphere. While the menu features Yemeni and general Middle Eastern fare, some of the offerings are very recognizable and others are new to me. The patrons, especially perhaps those more familiar, navigate the menu with seemingly an ease. Our server, abundantly friendly, was handling multiple tables in her "station " and didn't seem like a menu resource so we just rolled with our gut ( pun intended). Hummus Laham and Sambosa was the appetizer. I loved both. The Sambosa with beef, onion and dill are reminiscent of an Indian onion bhaji. The pita type bread is deliciously good. The Fasah and Fool we ordered and shared. I'm not sure if anything is meant to be shared or if we ordered mains or what. The clay type pots sizzle significantly signaling the piping hot goodness. Since it was a birthday dinner, we had dessert and coffee. The Yemeni latte is a treat, sweeter than expected. Overall the food experience is really fun. The service, while friendly, is what it is, just hot and cold and always a little tough, like just getting another paper napkin was slow. The prices and casually brightly lit dining area, though, reminds you that this is closer to fast casual both in price and atmosphere and is a really fun, moderately adventurous place to enjoy!
