Pretty good selection with snacks and cakes available. We stopped by on the Wed 3ish, no line. We ordered Oreo cheese milk tea with oat milk hot and 50%. This is just the right amount of sweetness and creamy texture for us. The order was well made and warm but not too hot. The staff were friendly. There are plenty of seats available in the store. read more

My friend and I arrived here for Feng Cha's grand opening, which started at 12 pm. We decided to arrive early around 11:15 AM, but there was already a line formed! Loved the promotions they did on social media and the banner to promote their first day with a BOGO and balloon arch. The long line definitely got interest from the South Bay community at the Almaden Plaza. PARKING: Parking isn't a worry since there's a big parking lot fit for the other eateries there. AMBIENCE: Loved where they chose their venue because it's next to known fast food chains and a sushi spot, so great way to get some boba as a dessert especially during the summer. The line had lots of energy waiting for boba! My friend and I waited about 45 minutes to place our orders once their grand opening started at 12 noon. They have a cute aesthetic bench spot for you to take those Instagram pics with the Feng Cha logo. There's about 4 tables for you and friends to drink and dine in with their dessert cakes. Cute decor that's minimalist and clean! SERVICE: Their staff was on top of it and handling the constant flow of customers with professionalism when there were complex and high volume orders. If they made a mistake, they were quick to amend it. When I ordered, the cashier double checked and confirmed my order with my specific sugar and ice levels with each drink, and I ordered 4 of them by the way! ORDERS: I definitely went over the menu board wi tu my orders. - Jasmine Apple Green Tea: stunning color with lots of personality. Super refreshing and light and easy to drink on a warm day. Loved how they included green apple bits for that natural flavoring. Not sour at all but semi sweet! - Strawberry Breeze: cute drink with excellent separation of content! A drink that my sister adored! Creamy but not too thick, not too overpowering strawberry flavor with great lychee jelly at the bottom. - Taro Milk Tea: a deep hue of purple that is eye catching! My mom loved this drink since it was semi sweet to her liking. Thick and creamy with tart as well! She finished the drink so fast since it was so good! - Mango Au Lait: Awesome drink to share among the family since mango is our favorite flavor. Reminds us of Mango Ice Cream that's refreshing, sweet, and light. Thick and creamy consistency from the milk that they use. RATING: Awesome grand opening for the Feng Cha Almaden team! Loved all the drinks and would be a recurring a customer whenever I shop in the plaza! read more

Was passing by and noticed the grand opening. There was constantly long line with approximately 30 min waiting before the order and afterwards. For the grand opening I personally feel that they did an amazing job handling taking care of the customers. The drinks are very tasty and offer different items I've never heard of or had before. The atmosphere is cozy, staff friendly and very nice. I'll definitely be coming back again. read more

The popcorn chicken is amazing! The spice is just right and when you dunk it in the sauce they give you- it's amazing! The drinks on the other hand, i'm just not a tea person in general; so i can't speak on that. Service is fast. The place in general is nice and clean. read more

I like the oolong tea here and they have sippy lids for the cheese foam. Cakes are ok, but I wouldn't come just for that. read more

I've been here before, so this wasn't my first time. I ordered a matcha latte, but it tasted salty, which was also not the first. I've had better experiences here in the past, so I hope this was just a one-time mistake. I might give it another try, but this drink didn't meet my expectations. read more

Wanted to try the taro breeze and it was amazing! I came in wanting to try something new and I'm glad I did. I was a taro smoothie like drink that tasted like cotton candy as well. read more

Good drinks, I usually grab thier matcha and it's pretty damn good quality. I also love their cakes. Service is pretty quick too!

New boba place near Costco | Tasty + quick Saw the new addition near Costco Almaden. Stopped in for a group order. Peach oolong, Classic milk tea, Strawberry Overload, adn Bursting Dragonfruit were all good and boba were perfect. Service staff was nice enough and the order was quick. Standard options for sweetness and ice levels. Cute shop. Tried one of the desserts/ oreo or chocolate. Nice to share, airy, and mellow flavor. An option to add to your list. Will try the Summer Melon next time. ;) read more

They're still in their soft opening phase, and I'm hoping to have some more good quality boba shops in the area so I hope they stick around. The nice thing is that their location on the west side of the plaza means there's plenty of parking, but the bad thing is - foot traffic might not be so great to help drum up more business. Because they were still in their soft opening, they had a really good deal for a free cake with 2 drinks. Having never tried Feng Cha before, I asked for recommendations, which they were happy to share. They were able to convince me to try the creme brulee dirty boba (unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture), and a peach oolong tea with crystal boba, plus the free strawberry cake. The creme brulee had a perfect "burn" to it, I should have tried to enjoy it more using the sipping lid versus a straw; the foam on top had a light saltiness to it. With the 50% sweetness, it truly was not too sweet, but still creamy and flavorful, plus the boba had a good chewy texture to it. My partner and I were not as big a fan of the peach oolong at 25%, but the crystal boba that we added was good. Although it had a good strength of oolong, to me the tea had a slightly "fake" sweetness or flavor to it. While it was refreshing, I'd probably be inclined to stick with their popular drinks. We enjoyed the cake later in the evening, and I think it held up pretty well in the fridge. The strawberry icing did solidify a bit more, so that it looked more clumpy and a little less appetizing, but the cake was light and fluffy (more asian style) and the foam topping with the strawberry was not overly sweet and a good complement. As they're still training staff, you'll have to exercise some patience, but otherwise, definitely come by to get some good quality drinks. read more

Marketing was great, nice pictures, highly rated yelp reviews raving about the Bogo deal, and a nice interior decoration. I asked for the BoGo deal but they didn't honor the deal anymore, not a big deal. We came here during a heat wave, and the value for the drink didn't match for me. I paid $15 for two drinks which in todays inflated economy is expected but still a terrible norm for the actual cost of ingredients used. The boba texture itself was good, but the flavor on the drinks were average and bland. I got the bursting dragonfruit and a peach oolong tea, and am wondering if the other drinks would've tasted better. I think the dilemma here is that there are too many items to choose from, and that makes it hard to pick drink specialties or differentiate themselves in a competitive environment, so maybe they should focus on core items that deliver awesome flavor. It was nice to try, but I probably won't return. read more

Proper sweet level for both the tea and boba, tasty snacks, all are with very consistent quality.

Got the Matcha Breeze 1/2 Sweet and Creme Brulee Dirty Boba with Black Milk Tea. They were both very flavorful and I appreciated how there were caffeine-free options to choose from as well. You can choose to have fresh milk instead of black tea for the Creme Brulee drink. As for the cost, both of these specialty drinks were around $7 each. There are other drink options around the $5 price point if you're just in the mood for simple ice teas. The interior was spacious, clean, and modern. I was surprised to see a life-size brown bear sitting on a park bench inside the shop. The cashier who served me was also very friendly and patient. I had never tried this bubble tea franchise prior to this visit, but I'd be happy to come back again :) read more

Great customer service and a perfect spot if you want to grab some coffee, relax, and get some work done. No strong flavor, tastes bland and the boba hard. Prefer TP tea as my go to tea. Service is good.

DO NOT FOLLOW MAP NAVIGATION. this is right next to subway and baskin-robbins. first time coming here and it sent me next to barnes & noble i was very frustrated. anyway, this is smaller than the other feng cha location (east side) but it's just as clean and tidy! modern ambiance and kind customer service. i don't think they sell and serve snacks here like they do over there but the drinks are just as good here! i ordered the Summer Melon and it literally tastes like fresh watermelon tea with bits of fresh watermelon *drooling* perfect for this weather, great refresher!!! i'll be coming back since it's down the street. read more

Wow, I am blown away by all the tasty drinks. I got 6 of these deliciousness and all of my coworkers immediately turned into addicts. The service was quick and the drinks are on point. The shop itself was clean and bright. It's unfortunately located in a corner that's hard to see but that won't stop me from coming back. I will post pictures soon, I just have a hard time not swallowing it all up the moment I get them. Also I am very much a snob when it comes to milk tea so trust me when I say this place is yummy. My favorite is the mango fantasy with grapefruit and sago. read more

came for the BOGO deal during their grand opening and it was so fun! they even had a little balloon garland shaped in boba to go with the signage. the interior is also super cute with a couple of tables indoors and outdoors if you're one of those gorlies who likes to study at boba shops lol. we got the strawberry breeze and kiwi basil green tea and both were solid choices. the strawberry breeze was a good mix of fruit and milk with the strawberry and lychee. the kiwi basil was nice and subtle, but also refreshing. we also tried their milk foam cakes (we really wanted to take full advantage of their promo lmaoooooo). they were so soft and creamy! the strawberry had a good level of tartness to it and the matcha wasn't overly sweetened. we did wait thirty minutes for our drinks, but as expected bc of the event. the staff was p good with getting the orders out regularly in a timely fashion. will definitely come back! read more

Feng Cha - Hi. Welcome in! - Bubble Tea Near Me - San Jose, California

20 mins wait for 2 of the same tea and one dessert. There wasn't even a line. No thanks.

I feel robbed and cheated from their point system! I have been going to feng cha almost everyday racking up points and all of sudden there was a change with their point system to an App that doesn't even work! I was in hopes to get my free drink and they looked up my phone number and I was told I have 0 points. It's sad to say I won't be returning back due to the inconvenience caused they should at least tell their customers it's down or compensate but not even that! read more

We tried the fruit drinks here and they were pretty good! I feel like the tea flavor could have been stronger but we liked the chunks of real fruit that were in the drinks. The only complaint we had was that when we got no sugar for the dragonfruit drink, it tasted a bit watery and not that flavorful. Our drinks came out pretty fast since they were not that busy, and the interior is good for sitting and chatting. read more

Drinks are worth it, but their popcorn chicken is probably the worse I've ever had... so be warned on that one..

Came to get baskin robins but instead came into try this new spot!! So glad we did cause the drinks were absolutely delicious. We got the creme brûlée dirty boba and matcha breeze with cheese foam. I'll have to admit, when this place first opened up I was scared off by the prices. But then I tried it and oh my God it's amazing! It is a high quality tea and fresh made boba (actually fresh!) I got the Thai milk tea with boba and it's very flavorful, there's another boba shop in the plaza but their Thai tea isn't nearly as good. The service is fast and they're very friendly. Also the restaurant itself is very cute, modern, and clean. It has some nice tables inside and outside.
