We brought our car to Fender menders a few weeks ago for an estimate and made an appt to bring our car in to repair next week. We received a call yesterday asking if we opened an insurance claim. We told them that we plan to pay out of pocket for the expenses. The employee said he needed to ask his boss if it was ok. Immediately to me, that's a red flag. He comes back and says they ONLY work with insurance. We questioned what difference it would have made if we paid them vs insurance paid them, they gave some B.S. roundabout excuse. I believe this body shop ONLY works with insurance so that they can jack up the prices & likely bill for unnecessary things, so that they get paid more. Otherwise, they would have let us pay out of pocket. Beware of this body shop. read more

My car sustained damage after being hit in the parking lot. I had my car towed to Fender Menders after reading positive reviews online. My car had been sitting at their collision center for two and a half weeks. I was constantly on the phone with them, the insurance agent, and the adjuster trying to get the situation sorted. Fender Menders said my car was totaled, which is not up to them to determine. The adjuster provided their estimate because the damages were repairable. The adjuster was waiting on a quote from Fender Menders of their assessment of cost of repairs, which they never provided. After many long discussions, Fender Menders ultimately refused to work on my car. They said that damage done to my car from previous accidents would hinder their ability to work on my car and fix the damages from this accident. The reality is, they just didn't want to work on my car. For what reason you ask? I have no idea. After two and a half weeks of frustration with Fender Menders, I had my car towed to another collision center who fixed my car within four days. I do not recommend Fender Menders, at all. read more

I highly recommend Fender Menders Broomfield, CO. They have done great work for me, 1st when my boss backed into my car, then when in June 2018 hail caused $13k worth of damage to my pickup truck. Finally a couple of months ago when a deer jumped from a steep incline directly in front of / onto the hood of our minivan as I drove through RMNP. They even buffed out scratches from the side of the vehicle for us, at no cost, outside of the insurance work. I got rear-ended at the end of December. This was my first car accident. Since the other driver had insurance with State Farm, I went to Fender Menders, because they work with them and their location was near me. I wasn't sure how the process worked or what to expect, but Scott quickly put my mind at ease and answered any questions I had. I had an initial estimate done, and then made an appointment. Unfortunately, the earliest they could get me in for repairs was about 2+ weeks away, but I took it. The day of repairs, Hertz met me there on time and provided me with a rental car (that the other driver's insurance paid for). It was estimated that it'd take two days to finish my repairs - my rear bumper & foam blocker, plus paint. Scott even ordered a new decal for me - when I bought the car, the letters c and a were missing - I have a 1996 Camry. My car was completed in the time estimated. When I picked up my car, Scott showed me the work they did and went over everything in detail. They even washed, vacuumed and sprayed a "new car" air freshener for my car. The paint job was flawless, and I can't say enough good things about my experience. I'd definitely recommend them. I brought my car to Fender Menders just before the holiday season, after a low-speed accident did a bunch of body damage to my car. Scott and Tammy at Fender Menders got it back up and running before the originally quoted date (which would've been after the new year), and did not hesitate to make good on their work when a few days back on the road revealed some small unresolved issues. They are friendly, direct, and honest; traits that seems hard to find when you're weeding through accident reports and insurance claims. I stopped by for the first time with a right-rear passenger door that wouldn't shut completely. Scott got out his tools and fixed it in 3 minutes while standing in the rain. Took my '14 Tacoma to Scott @ Fender Menders for pretty significant hail damage. I was expecting them to have it for a while because as I said the hail damage was pretty major. Two days later Scott called and said my truck was done. I thought, no way. Then the pessimist in me thought oh great they probably rushed it and didn't do a good job. Well I was wrong. They are nice enough and may do good work but I never got that far. I went in in Sept to talk to them, give them the insurance estimate and what I wanted done. They agreed to the parts and job. I made an appt but the soonest they could get me in was 2 months later. I bring my car in and a few days later get a call from the insurance company telling me Fender Menders refuses to use the agreed upon parts and if they do the work it'll be $700 extra out of my pocket. No one from FM called me to discuss or explain. I had the insurance company pull my car and take it to their place. Be prepared for extra charges beyond what you agreed upon with no explanation as to why they refuse to use the part the insurance company is using and guaranteeing for life. read more

I was referred to them by my trusted mechanic and they were rude when I made the appointment for an estimate claiming they were very busy and it felt like they would rather not bother with my vehicle. Because they were recommended I made the appointment anyhow and when my 20 year old daughter took her car in they made her wait outside until they finished their lunch (she was less then 10 minutes early for her appointment). Then they shamed her for her car not being clean and proceeded to tell her that her 2009 Toyota Camry with only 80,000 miles was not worth fixing (she scraped two panels entering a small garage). They basicly tossed her estimate at her without explaining any of it so she could understand and they wrote it over $1000 more then the two other estimates we have already gotten. Let me start with saying I don't write reviews. However, the customer service and work performed on my vehicle was exemplary and I feel obligated to suggest them to others. I was hit by an uninsured driver and my insurance company sent me to a mandatory inspection at a branch based business. After 45 seconds of them inspecting my vehicle and providing a $500 estimate, I was wanting a second opinion. I was recommended to Fender Menders by a local mechanic and walked right in to meet with the manager, Scott. Scott quickly assured me that the other estimate was inaccurate and scheduled to provide one for me within 2-3 days. His thorough inspection identified paint chips, dents, cracks and other cosmetic imperfections caused by the accident. The new estimate was significantly higher and was quickly approved upon submitting to my insurance company. His prices were very reasonable and the work was presented to me in a modular easy to understand fashion. I received the check and scheduled the work to be done. I dropped it off expecting 2-3 days for the time to fix it. Fender Menders went out of their way to look for factory and after-market parts for cost comparison and ease of repairs. They found a pre-painted replacement and had my vehicle back the same day. No hidden costs, everything was up front and payment was made post-completion. I wouldn't hesitate to strongly recommend their business for any vehicle repair jobs you may need in in the future. It's a local family business in Broomfield.
