Not a pleasant experience. Chris, was very rude and cocky from the beginning but we disregarded this and proceeded to make our purchase with Tracy. Our order came in damaged and we called and spoke with Amy who said we can go and exchange since they had some in stock but when we arrived they turned us away and did not honor their word. Why didn't they tell us over the phone instead of having us haul it there and back? The same guy, Chris, was very disrespectful and rude to us as he was inspecting the damage. I told him there is a polite way to say he cannot take our return and for him to have a blessed day. As we walked away the poor guy Chris continued being rude and calling us one sided people and just wouldn't stop running his mouth. It shows his character and poor business manner. Went with Fence Supply Inc. after reading some bad reviews for online sale groups who have only P.O box addresses. The prices were about the same and the product received was per expectations. I was concerned at first as the email acknowledging the order stated that I would receive a shipping notice (I did not). When I saw the charges on my credit card I waited about 10 days The bundles of slats arrived the day I was ready to call and ask about the status of the order. My wife called in for pricing on a 5.5" wide fence picket and was quoted for both 6ft ($1.19ea) and 8ft ($1.65ea) fence pickets. She had a couple of calls back and forth with sales Rep JB regarding possible bulk discounting etc. I drive 50 miles one way to pick up 528 pickets and upon arrival another sales person said there wasn't an order entered and started one. He then told me the 8ft pickets were like $2.50+. I told him about my wife's conversation with JB and he said JB was at lunch and the prices he quoted me were the 3.5" pickets. I asked to speak to the manager and Jimmy Sloan came up and basically told me the same story. I explained I drove 50 miles one way based on the quote HIS employee gave me. He offered me some measly 5% off making it $2.38 ea which is a far stretch from the $1.65 we were originally quoted. He would not honor HIS employee's quote. This kind of bait and switch tactic is ridiculous and is why people don't trust companies these days. What happened to the days when companies and people took accountability for their actions??? I would not do business with them because they feel this type of behavior is ok!!!! read more
