Also, many of the trim boards and fence pickets had popped off so I had been screwing them back on. It's been such an eyesore and a nuisance not being able to use the gates that today I dug out the worst of the leaning poles to reset. Guess what, they didn't cement the post into the ground. They set the post on TOP of the cement. No wonder the fence and gates didn't hold up!! How lazy can you get??? I'll have to do all of them now knowing they aren't cemented in. I even called them a few months ago to see if they could come correct the lean and they never returned my call. Lesson learned. I'll never use them again and I won't suggest them to anyone.

Rather than fix it they just shut off the neighbors system and said nothing. Five days later in 100+ degree weather the neighbors lawn was dying. I had to call an emergency repair on Sunday. I took the repairs out of the balance owed. I soon had several sections of the fence start to lean because they only sank the posts a foot into he ground with little to no concrete. The owner of Sunnyvale said they didn't make enough money in my job to warranty their work. Nice guys! How are they still in business? I called Carlitos Fence. He fixes the crummy work and has since built three new fences at other properties for me.

It seems I am one of the last remaining neighbors on my block that does not have a gate for my driveway. I took a look on Yelp and found that these folks are close and convenient so I called for an estimate. So far in my estimate gathering I have found that their pricing seems pretty fair. They were not the cheapest, but they were far from the most expensive. That impresses me even more because the metal they use on the frames and the motors they quoted me on seem to be of some of the top quality that are available currently. I also like that they repair as well as install, as I want to utilize a company that does both. My time with the estimator was very pleasant. He was professional and informative and he made sure I was aware of things I, or anyone shopping for gates, needs to be aware of before purchasing. I have not made a final decision yet, but when I do, I will update the review of the company I end up going with, along with photos on my new gate!

At 9:40, I got a call back and said the technician will be there in 20 minutes or so. I asked why so late? Appointment was at 9? Response was that the appointment was a window from 9-10, which was never communicated upfront. I will not deal with this company. If they can't schedule and carry out the initial service call, I don't want to deal with actual diagnosis and repair or installation.
