I've seen businesses come and go, and…read moreunfortunately, Ground Zero Plumbing & AC Repair is one that survives on surface-level charm and repeat repair revenue. I bought a $6,700 HVAC system from them 5 years ago. When it broke last week, their true colors came out. The aluminum coil leaked Freon which is a known issue with RunTru by Trane, the brand they sold me. Instead of taking ownership, they told me that I had to pay for $1,000 for refrigerant despite knowing the equipment was defective. Warranty or not, this was a loyalty test. And they failed. Yes, their staff is polite. But once you see how they hide behind friendly service while selling low-quality products and overcharging for repairs, it's hard not to feel scammed. Warning to my fellow Phoenix locals: This company banks on breakdowns. Don't let a good first impression fool you. They'll get your money once, maybe twice, and leave you stranded when it matters most.
