    Truffle Fries and Pretzles app

Absolutely love coming for the truffle fries and pretzel app! But nothing is more exciting than seeing our favorite waitress Megan Q!! Been coming for 10+ years then stopped when we she left and now came back because of her. Megan makes the place upbeat, knows her customers and is the best customer service ever.

I meet up with some folks at Brew Works probably once or twice a year and have always had a positive experience. Back in the old days I spent many Friday and Saturday nights downstairs at the Steelgaarden part of the joint--I can't share too many clear memories of those times! But the restaurant I can tell you is very nice, well-maintained, with the beer vats (right, that's what they are?) making for a fun backdrop. The waiter service is generally pretty good. And man, I love their soft pretzel bites with beer cheese. If you're a soft pretzel fan, you must give these a try! They make their own beers, of course. I'm a Miller Lite type of beer drinker, and their Valley Golden Ale works just great for me.

So good!!! Always a favorite! Came here for mother's day, food and service were great. Thank you Jade!

Meatloaf Sandwich & High Gravity Mac 'n' Cheese

One of our friends had recommended The Brew Works for some good food and great drinks and we can say we were happy to prove them right! There was a lot of fun items on the menu and it was actually fairly hard to decide what we would get! In the end we landed on the mac and cheese and the meatloaf sandwich. The mac and cheese was delicious, and had a great depth of flavor from the sharp cheeses used, and I struggle to rate a mac and cheese bad if it has a breadcrumb topping, this helps break up the texture and adds a lot to the dish. Possibly one of the best pasta dishes I've had in a while. The meatloaf sandwich was also fantastic, with a lot of different textures and tastes coming from the burger. It was so good I could have had a second one straight away!! The combination of the sauce, the onions, the patty and the bun were excellent. We also tried a couple of their drinks, and although there is a fun selection of cocktails (plus seasonal ones when we visited), we landed on the craft beers (available as a flight too). The highlight for us, again, seasonal, was the Rude Elf's Revenge, which gave a holiday twist to the craft beer adding in Christmas spices to make a unique brew. If there was anything I'd note as a blip, it would be the fact that everything was a great standard but the fries were you're run of the mill fries (which is not a bad thing at all). But by contrast, I think I would have preferred some seasoning options to elevate them to the same level as the other food items. The staff were attentive and helpful, and there was a good energy inside with a mix of families, friends, coworkers and dates. 10/10 would recommend.

Fegley's was the perfect place to grab lunch on our recent trip to Bethlehem. The atmosphere encourages you to sit back relax and have another. Our overworked server was also the bartender but he juggled his stations with precision and ease. Our sandwiches Buttermilk Chicken and French dip both blend flavor and texture to tantalize both the eye and palate. Fegley's effortless and memorable from the first step to the last bite.

Lively spot with a fun, energetic atmosphere and a solid beer list. The food hit the comfort-food mark and portions were generous. Service was friendly, but very slow, and it was hard to get the bartender's attention.

Service was just ok. Super nice woman but she didn't really know the answers to any of our questions and apologized a lot. Ordered 2 drinks separate times and they didn't have both so I just finally said screw it and got a water. The water had a nasty taste to it, like pool water. Stout soup 7/10 Good. Definitely too much bread though. The amount of cheese was great. The onions I think could have been cooked down a little longer. Burger, Whiskey style 7/10 I was not asked how I like my burgers cooked. It was a medium well, i would have loved it to be more of a medium rare/medium. As a whole it was a little dry. For the whiskey style, I swapped the cheese for the cooper cheese. Didn't really taste the caramelized onions at all. The whiskey sauce, if there was a good amount more, it probably wouldn't have been so dry. The side was a choice of fries or coleslaw. The waitress did not give me an option to choose, I just ended up with fries. Fries 3/10 They were kinda disgusting. Half of them were so light they barely even looked cooked, and they were super soggy. Meatloaf sandwich 7/10 It was juicy, bread was good. Could have used more meatloaf and definitely more secret sauce.

A solid 4, maybe 4.5. Service was a little slow at first, but caught up. Typical brewpub food and atmosphere. Good IPAs on tap. I had the Grilled Cheese Brisket and my wife had the Shrimp Tacos. Both were hearty and delicious. Others enjoyed their meals. We'll be back.

They seem to try their best to have a cider from PA on rotation. They have a vinyl night (as in LPs) and the place is super cozy on a corner where there is a lot of parking available. The most amazing thing to me was hearing the bartender casually talking to someone and mentioning that all of their beer was gluten-reduced. Okay, what's that all about? Asking for further details, they use an enzyme to effectively drop the gluten out of the beer. It can't be called gluten-free because it comes from a gluten source. However, the amount of gluten left in the beer seems to fall below the standards for gulten content making it effectively gluten-free. Yeah, no promises from me -- or them, I believe, on that matter. I just found it fascinating with seemingly zero downside to taste! Amazing!

Our first visit to Bonn was moderately busy, but the staff took the time to answer questions, was friendly and knowledgeable, and was very attentive. Our second visit was slammed busy with a line practically out the door. I honestly didn't notice a difference or drop in service. Absolute all-stars. Beer: this place is a goldmine of English pub styles with outstanding milds and bitters. We worked our way through the tap list and couldn't find a beer that wasn't great. Parking: located next to two large parking lots (pay). Well lit. Food: none. Fuel up before you go. Atmosphere: small, quaint, but comfortable and welcoming. On our first visit, another patron at the bar told us, "I envy you...I wish I could experience this place again for the first time." It's that kind of place. You just click with the vibe and it feels good. On both visits here, we didn't want to leave. Overall: I brewed my first beer 25 years ago. I'm a certified beer judge. I've lived all over the US and traveled extensively. Not everyone is going to instantly click with this place, or fall in love with their style. I did, and I have. We were seated right away in an open format atmosphere with the best balance of light and dark. The bar across from us looked fantastic. What we noticed right from the start is how well the staff works with and for each other to bring guests the best dining experience possible. Maddie was our server. She was kind, professional, patient, and knowledgable about both food and drink on a grand scale. Her recommendations were stellar. I had a refreshing gin and basil martini as well as their beef carpaccio, which was absolutely fantastic. My girlfriend started with their beef stew, which was thick and satisfying. It was so delicious, she almost canceled her entree to have more. She went with the home cooking route and indulged in their meatloaf with green beans and mashed potatoes. Although she loved that as well, half had to come home with her, which made for an excellent lunch the next day. I went with the raw of it all and got their spectacular tuna tartare with asparagus, radish, and rice. Usually, the tuna is cut into strips but this tremendous block of gorgeous fish knocked me out. Absolutely fantastic from presentation to flavor. For dessert, we got their brownie with ice cream and this was all upper level in taste and texture. I would be shocked if their ice cream hadn't been made in-house. We loved our first experience with Apollo and we look forward to our next visit, which is hopefully sooner than later.
