I got my little fade cut, a line and shape up in addition to having my goatee trimmed proper and was very happy with the result. The barbershop had a lively yet relaxing vibe, making the whole experience enjoyable. The conversation with the owner Rio and his wife, as well as the other staff was very friendly, making me feel like I had been going there for years. I decided to hop on Yelp to see what I can find and saw the reviews and a few pictures of this place and wondered if they could squeeze in my son. I called them and was lucky enough to get him in! Kim, is the barber who had cut my sons hair. I am more than pleased with his high skin fade she did. She quickly realized that the shape of my sons head wasn't perfect but that didn't stop her from doing the best she could with making his hair look good! I couldn't be any more than happier making the decision to have come here. I am so glad that my son doesn't have uneven lines around his head like he would normally from other barbers works. LOL. BUT Kim really took her time to do a good job and definitely didn't butcher it. Kim just knows how to use her clippers well!! I will definitely come back here and book with Kim again in the future and will also recommend her service to others!! Thank you so much Kim!!

For the sides, he used a number 1 clipper, and the blending was done with a 1.5 clipper. But today, a new stylist I hadn't seen before shaved my child's entire head. I was so shocked and said this isn't what I wanted, but the hairdresser just blamed me, saying it was my fault for not explaining clearly. What parent would want their child's entire head shaved? I can't even understand how something like this happened. Even if there was a miscommunication, that hairstylist shouldn't handle the problem that way. She never apologized, and her expression was full of indifference, as if she didn't want to deal with me any longer. The mocking look in the hairdresser's eyes--it makes me so angry. Although the owner apologized, I'm still extremely upset. Avoid going to a salon like that. My 7-year-old son is crying hard, saying the hairstyle is so bad that friends will tease him and that he can't go to school until his hair grows back.
