Place has been here forever !

This feed store has been here forever. Aging myself, but for 30 years been going here. Baby chicks, you name it it's over here. A lot of horse supplies. Hay, I know someone who used the coat conditioner leather. They would buy that as a product.

4 of our 5 Pekín ducks - well fed and bedded thanks to The Feed Barn!

I find any excuse I can to come to The Feed Barn. Everyone there is nice, knowledgeable and helpful, they carry all kinds of goods for all types of animals. They have reasonable prices and have even special ordered goods for me. I usually just buy feed and straw for my ducks here, but I also browse the treat bin for my dog. They have a great selection of natural goods, and they even have a self-serve dog wash station. Oreo the friendly kitty comes to greet you as soon as you pull in, make sure you stop to pet him when you arrive, and move him out of the way when you leave (he tends to lay behind tires). There are also several other cute critters inside - a parrot, a rabbit, and usually a puppy along with some more aloof cats, can be found scattered about. Everyone there greets you with a good attitude and a smile. I also indulge in buying stickers every time I go in, they have a really fun selection!! I highly recommend visiting the Feed Barn the next time you're in South Orange County, you won't be disappointed!

No we don't have that. I'm sorry

I'm unable to walk my standard poodle, and I love it when he is so happy to greet Katrina, or Shaylene, and grinning when they send photos during the walk, and most of all...my big energetic goofy dog comes home Happy, tongue out and tired!!! Unfortunately, I had to edit my drafted five star review down to a four star review because I feel…read morelike I was bait and switched. We are relatively new to OC Pup Scouts starting in Dec 2025, and have gone through the temperament assessment and puppy training, but now that we've "graduated" to the pack walks, they've changed their prices and increased them 10%. Seemingly nominal, but this should have been disclosed or at least acknowledged upfront when asking about the program and pricing. The walkers and admin have been great, and my pup seems to really enjoy the walks. It's just feels a little icky that they probably knew about the price increase and conveniently left it out when vetting the business. Maybe I just had unlucky timing with it, because they did say this price increase was the "first in years". I get it, cost of living goes up. I just wish they had been honest and upfront about it (or at least honor their quoted pricing for another quarter or two), hence the removal of a star. I was looking for a service where my pup could safely interact and socialize with other dogs, not necessarily for the walk itself, so I found what I thought would be a good pick in OC Pup Scouts. The pack walk services are great. The handlers all seem friendly and genuinely nice people. They will pick up your pup from your chosen location and drive them in a van to a park where they embark on an hour long walk at a time. I especially love that they provide you an update/pictures of their walks. The pups all seem to enjoy their time together. There have been a few last minute schedule changes that range from a few minutes to an hour delay, but they've been pretty consistent about communicating these. This is also to be expected when your clients are... well dogs, but I only mention it to warn others to be flexible. Overall, I'm satisfied with the services rendered. I am happy I found OC Pup Scouts, and would be happy to recommend them for their pack walks. Hoping that the prices remain stable for the foreseeable future, and they don't pull a Spotify and jack them up every year.

But finding Emily of The Dog Listener has been one of the greatest blessings for me and my American Bully puppy. From the very first session, Emily brought a calm, confident energy that completely changed the way I relate to my dog. Through private lessons and her incredible monthly Pack Walks, she has helped my puppy grow into a balanced, well-behaved companion. Most importantly, she's helped me grow--into a more confident, peaceful, and capable handler. What truly sets Emily apart is her compassion. My dogs don't just tolerate her--they adore her. The excitement and joy they show when she arrives is real, and it speaks volumes about the kind of person and trainer she is. Her love for dogs is genuine, and they feel it. I get emotional thinking about where we started and how far we've come. Emily is a true godsend, and I can't recommend her enough to anyone looking for a kind, effective, and empowering trainer who truly understands dogs--and their people.

Late Thursday night, my neighbors' 14-year-old dog, whom I walk every morning and absolutely adore, suddenly took a horrible turn and was unable to move. We were terrified and honestly feared the worst. His owners didn't want to put him through the stress and pain of trying to move him, so I became determined to find someone who would come to the house. We called approximately 15 different veterinary hospitals and mobile vets, and no one was able or willing to come out. Finally, a friend recommended Salt & Sea, and I am SO incredibly grateful they did. Not only did Salt & Sea come to the house, but they arrived with such compassion, kindness, and professionalism. They were incredibly efficient while still taking the time to make him feel comfortable and cared for. They assessed him, treated what they believed was causing the problem, and gave us hope during a really scary situation. **1 star** We…read morebrought our Cavapoo puppy Rufus here for his first wellness visit on 6/29, and it set the tone for what turned into a genuinely frustrating experience. At that first visit -- Rufus was 11 weeks old and hadn't finished his parvo series yet -- the husband (this is a husband-and-wife practice with no front desk staff) asked to weigh him on the floor scale out in the open lobby. When I asked how recently it had been cleaned, he apologized, ushered us into a treatment room, and sterilized a smaller scale instead. Small thing on its own, but not a great first impression on basic biosecurity for an unvaccinated puppy. That visit came to $713, itemized down to the office visit, vaccines, a tech fee, a biohazard fee, a fecal/Giardia panel, dewormer, Simparica Trio, probiotics, ear cytology, ear cleaning, ear drops, and a cone for an ear infection diagnosed on the spot. Most of it was legitimate care. Parts of it felt like a menu. Before we left, we scheduled two follow-up vaccines for 7/23: his final DA2PP (parvo) booster and his second Leptospirosis shot. Both the invoice and the clinic's own reminder email confirmed exactly those two -- nothing else. Today (7/23) I sat down in the lobby and the husband immediately pulled out an iPad to pitch an additional influenza vaccine before we'd even discussed why we were there. When I asked about the two shots we'd actually scheduled, he told me the DA2PP shouldn't be given until Rufus turns 16 weeks -- reversing what his own clinic had scheduled three weeks earlier -- and then said there were three shots on the books for today, which matches neither the invoice nor their reminder email. When I calmly asked for clarification, he kept steering the conversation back to the upsell, then raised his voice and told me there are "plenty of other vets in the area" who could take Rufus -- in the middle of the lobby, in front of another client waiting with her dog. The medicine itself may well be fine. But a solo husband-and-wife shop with no front desk, vaccine guidance that changes appointment to appointment, and a vet who literally yells at a client for asking questions is not where I'm bringing my dog back to. We're finding Rufus a new vet.
