I've been bringing my dog Coco to Pet Palace for about a year now and they are by far the best at what they do. I've had dogs my entire life and have had some bad experiences at other shops but with this shop it has always been a good experience. Their prices are good, they do what they say they are going to do, and my dog races up to the door wagging his tail when we get there which tells me they treat him well. Extremely happy with the services provided by Pet Palace. My 3 month old puppy had to stay with family for a night and when we picked him up he was infested with fleas. They were everywhere!!! I called Pet Palace and they got him in right away and took great care of him. They are very caring. Because of his age they didn't do a standard flea treatment they used a homeopathic technique and then went through the painstaking task of pulling every flea off the poor guy. This place is the best! I take my large Newfoundland dog here to get a bath from Jaime and she ALWAYS does an amazing job. Newfies are very very hairy and labor intensive, and while sometimes his appointment runs longer than estimated (I mean he is 180lbs of dense hair!), he always comes out thoroughly cleaned and happy! It is worth the time spent and it is not an easy job to do! Trust me, I've tried giving him baths myself, it probably takes 30 minutes just to get him fully wet. Do NOT go there! The last three times I took my two dogs there the grooming time was ridiculously long. I believe there is new ownership that occurred in the last few years and since then the customer service and attention to detail has gone down, down, down hill. As I began to let them know that I was upset about how long this appointment took, I was told by one of the employees that grooming usually takes 2.5-3 hours for two dogs. Today, grooming was 4 hours, 35 minutes! I have an old dog and she can't be in the crate/grooming for that long. Sure enough, she urinated in the crate and when I picked her up she was wet (groomer noticed it first, smelled her to make sure it was urine, it was, and she didn't seem to care or say sorry). I complained yet again, I wanted her to know that my dog is old -which she knows because I've taken here there for the last 11 years-, she can't be in a crate for that long. I asked if the dogs are given any water (I'm sure they get thirsty because of the stress being there) I was told yes, however I'm not sure the employees were honest because when I got home both dogs sprinted to the water bowls and guzzled water. What makes me the most upset is that they didn't have any apology for the long grooming time frame. They just offered an excuse: "They were busy today". Obviously they were, but PLEASE don't over book your clients. We're dealing with animals, whom I'm sure don't like to be locked up for that long. Furthermore, they said if I want faster grooming that they'd have to charge me extra! I said, ... "Are you kidding? You used to complete the grooming in 2.5-3 hours, why should I pay for timely service you should already be giving me"? No apologies, no remorse. They honestly seemed to care less if I was upset or said I'm never returning. I've been going there for 11 YEARS! Unfortunately, there are other complaints I have from the past visits, too, but I don't want to write too much here. I hope this review inspires them to rethink their customer service and create a better business plan that helps them with time management and a friendly demeanor. read more

We've had nothing but amazing experiences with Pet Palace! Our pup gets pretty anxious about getting groomed, but the groomers here are so amazing with her that she's at ease (we had to sedate her at previous groomers). I also love that they're so quick here. We've had to drop our dog off for up to 8 hours at other places, at Pet Palace she's always ready in 2-3 hours. Great service, great prices, great people! wont be going back to pet palace. they are unorganized, rude and over charge. they dont know good customer service. said one thing, did another. rude to me over the phone. being treated badly was the worst part of it all . politeness goes a long way. but they are inconsistent all the way around. first time i went in they left my little ones tail so long i had to cut it myself. not very good cutters/groomers work there. and they expect to be paid high prices? they have an attitude of entitlement. i say they are inexperienced and need some better people skills. also go back to grooming school. one big disappointment. read more
