You guys don't even deserve ONE STAR! Yeah, you guys are full of it! Yesterday I was supposed to receive a package but missed the delivery. I called and they said they attempted to deliver it at 10:30 am, I came home from work around 11am, i waited for the rest of the day to see if they will make another attempt (was literally in the living room all day and the door was clearly open with the lights on) no body came for the rest of the day. UPS did deliver my other package though as promised (big ups to UPS!) So the next day, which is today 9/1/16, I waited in my living room since 7am to 10:30 am. No body came. I called again and they said they "tried delivering at 10:20am this morning" NO THE HELL YOU DID NOT CAUSE I WAS THERE WAITING THIS ENTIRE TIME. Straight up liars ! So I go straight to this shipment center in Union, give the door tag number I received yesterday. Received my packaged and the box is manhandled and damaged from The outside. So I tell the desk clerk that the package was here this entire time and the driver didn't make the attempt this morning cause I was waiting this morning. She makes up this ridiculous lie saying they try making the attempts "three times" SO MY QUESTION IS, WHY IS THE BOX HERE IN THE SHIPMENT CENTER RIGHT NOW AND NOT IN THE TRUCK AS WE SPEAK ? HMMM. Get your shit together Fedex! And the driver; you're a straight up liar too saying you attempted to reliever this morning in which you DIDNT. I will be contacting the company I ordered from and will be complaining not to use your company. Rather use UPS or USPS. Oh yeah I will be filing a formal complaint directly to FEDEX too

Extremely slow service at this ship center. Expect a long line, dirty lobby and employees who have no urgency.

They gave me a…read morequote for minimum 4 hours even though I had little to move. 1 bed, 1 dresser, 2 nightstands, 2 small night stands, 2 small shelves, 1 larger shelf and 2 chairs. 36 boxes that I could lift myself but since I had to pay the 4 hour minimum I let them take care of it. And 7 bins also I could lift myself. BTW I am an older woman with a bad back. No problem I'll pay the 4 hours. They did show up on time. My belongings were moved without a problem. Before they even started, Godwin the lead mover informed me that he would collect the cash for the move plus the tip and he would give it to the guys in the truck. I found this shocking. I also work for Tips. They are not expected and certainly not asked for. I also don't know if the other movers received any of it. As they carried things into the new apartment they took a 5 minute break between every trip just chatting. Still finished in under 4 hours. Shortly before they finished Godwin informed me, because they had to walked approximately 100 ft from the truck to my apartment it would be an extra $290!!!! They didn't actually "carry" anything they were prepared with everything on wheels of some sort. Then to top it off as I paid Godwin had my sign the receipt and write a review as he stared me down. Very uncomfortable. The entire move was unprofessional. Do not recommend. I did leave a review on their website which curiously isn't there.

Rob (lead guy on the move) and company on both sides of the move were excellent with all of our belongings. If I could give 500 stars I would. Do not walk run to use this moving company. He assigned Anastasia to handle the contracts piece, and Erv to work on the estimate. Anastasia was so kind to work outside the normal process of using eSignatures, as my mother is frustrated by technology - Anastasia printed contracts, and had my mom sign in ink. Erv's estimate was a bit low the first go-around, but ultimately he did come up with a fair price given the number and weight of the items. What I'll remember more that anything are the three main factors; 1.) All of her possessions showed up here in Florida in tact. She had a number of pottery art pieces, and all made it through the move without breakage, 2.) The move was done efficiently and on-time, both for packing/pick-up and for the delivery, and 3.) Everyone was so genuinely nice! The men and women who packed up her apartment were kind and competent, and the delivery was handled all within about two hours, again with everything placed in it's proper area and with no anxiety. If you're moving from Essex County, NJ to anywhere in the US, I would highly endorse Harrington!

I was very impressed!…read moreI probably sent about 6 requests for quote out to different companies and Lynn at Express Haulers was the first to call me within a minute of sending the request, and the only one persistently following up with me. I told every company that we have a small move as we had been moving things little by little by ourselves, only Lynn provided me with the lowest minimum hours and competitive pricing. When I said I would get back to her, I appreciated her persistence in following up. They estimated 2.5 hours of work and Carlos and his team did a great job efficiently moving things, only took 30 more minutes than they estimated. They also didn't have any hidden charge for wrapping material for couch etc. My husband at the receiving address said they were very careful with our newly renovated home, the floor, the wall etc as they moved and assembled furniture. After the move, the owner Diego himself reached out to check in and asked for feedback. As somebody running a business myself and working with business owners, I really appreciate how they run their business, the efficiency, the flexibility and the care. Will recommend them to anybody in my network who needs moving services.

When I decided to move across the country coast to coast, I couldn't think of any other option. It started off in October when we sold our house & had to get rid of half of our house. Genmove did the Junk Removal service to get rid of our headache. As we ended up selling our house early, Genmove picked up our stuff & kept it in storage for 2 months. On getting possession of our new house, we informed Genmove & they expedited the shipment & we got it in 5 days! We just received our stuff. Johnny & his crew were excellent & moved the items safely & set them up perfectly. They were very careful & worked really hard. Thanks to Guy & Genmove team in executing our move flawlessly. Highly Recommended.

We moved from New Jersey to Colorado and used General Moving Carriers. We worked with them before…read moreand they did a great job. Nothing was lost and nothing was damaged. They came to our townhouse a day before the move and efficiently packed everything. On moving day, they protected everything and removed it from the house, making sure not to damage the house in anyway. They have climate controlled storage. when we found our house in Colorado, They brought all of our items out of the warehouse in New Jersey to us. They did a phenomenal job unpacking. They set up everything they had taken apart and they put everything in the spots we wanted. Once again, nothing was damaged and nothing was lost. I highly recommend this company for Moving.

We had to reschedule with a new property which Chris was able to work with me . Thankfully The guys arrived on time and was professional and courteous to me and my wife . I can't believe I have to write this review, but I figured it was fair to warn everyone who's…read morelooking to use Movage for a long distance move. (We moved from NJ to CA.) (tldr: lack of communication, damaged boxes and furniture upon arrival, poor quality of service) In the beginning, Jeff was very attentive and made us feel like "Yes! This is the quality of service we're looking for in a company!" and the quoted price was great. He told us everything we needed to know about our move and we were excited to move forward. (Disclaimer: Low price is because they have other moves on the same truck as yours. We figured it wouldn't be a problem... it was.) But once we had our stuff loaded on to the truck, that's when it went all downhill. First things first, the pick-up movers told us how much we should be tipping them (they said they wanted 20%), which was extremely unprofessional. I don't mind if they had just mentioned that tips are appreciated, but to have the balls to flat out tell me you want 20%? Really? I didn't hear from Jeff for about a week after our initial pick-up, and when he did respond, all he could tell me was that our stuff was still waiting to be put onto the truck and our 6 day delivery window remained the same. He told me he would update with information when he had some. I asked him if it was possible to get a tighter delivery window once the truck was in transit and he informed me that once we got closer to the delivery window he'd have a better estimate of when our stuff should be arriving. (At this point, we were 9 days from the first day of our delivery window and 7 days since pick-up.) Another week goes by without any correspondence from Jeff. I'm starting to get a little anxious because it's 2 days from the first day of our delivery window and we have no idea where our stuff is. So I contact him again asking if he had an update. The first day of the delivery window is pushed back a day. Still very vague. I ask again if he could provided a tighter delivery window since we're working people and need to make arrangements to receive this move if it does come on a work day. He said he'll try his best. So now it's the first day of the delivery window! Hurray! But silence on Jeff's end. At this point, we figured he'd have some sort of idea where the truck is and have an idea of when the truck should be arriving to us. I email Jeff and no response. I get that it's a Saturday, but if client is paying thousands of dollars to use your services, just a quick acknowledgement would be appreciated. We get a call later that day from the driver saying he's in the area and will delivery the following day or the next, depending on the other deliveries. Okay, great! But why wasn't Jeff able to provide that information to us? The driver told us that they're not actually a part of Movage and they're hired to do jobs within Movage (which was one of the first questions I asked because I wanted to make sure that the move wasn't being contracted out to third parties), so the drivers themselves weren't even in touch with Movage at all. And then our stuff finally arrives... boxes were damaged, wet, opened, our couch was soaked on one side... I'll let the pictures do the talking. The response we get after we express our extreme disappointment is just a very textbook: "I apologize for any inconvenience. This is not the typical feed back we receive from our customers. I will help you as much as possible as I have tried to do from the first time we spoke. I will attach a claims form to this email. Please fill it out at your earliest convenience so we can start a claim process for you. Thank you." If you're looking to do a long distance move, go with Mayflower. We deeply regret not choosing to go with them in the first place.
