She kept telling me package was "containerized" and nothing she could do about it. I wasn't blaming her for any part of the delivery process. The shipment was delayed day after day. Upon contacting them, the customer service rep claimed they had to relabel the package. When the package finally arrived it was evident the rep said that just to close out the conversation as there was no new label. It gets worse. The package was partially opened and the side where it was opened the property was taken out of the package and removed from the wrapper then stuffed back in. The impression was whoever illegally opened the package would have stolen the part had it been useful to him/ her. This is very offensive. They have gone too far this time and we want the person to be held responsible. The pickup line is Looooong past 6:30 at this location. I've got here at 7 and as always I face a long line outside the store. There was only one person working and even though there were only 6 people in front of me, it took me 37min to get my package. This is not acceptable for a package pickup. I arrived to pick up a package at this location and found several people already inside. I waited to see if any staff came out as the front desk was unattended. After a couple minutes staff came out calling out names and people were picking up their packages and they were on their way. Once finished the staff called out NEXT and took our tag or # and went to get our package. I was called, ID checked, signed, and I was on my way. I was a little confused because I didn't know where the line started or what was going on but once I handed over my tag the process went as smooth as butter. There was a gentleman who had a lot of energy at the front desk keeping the place moving. Overall the service was fast and efficient. read more

This location deserves -5 stars. Tamu has the BIGGEST ego and attitude I've ever experienced from a clerk. Normally bad encounters wouldn't even warrant a review, but this time, I was bullied and had to file a complaint. I had just recently moved up to the South Bay so my driver's license does not match the shipping address. That's why I brought along my utility bills and even my pay stubs to prove that I live at that address. I even called to ask if those documents would suffice and the customer represenative said yes. When I presented those on the counter to Tamu/Tami/T (whatever they were calling her in the office) not only did she deny those documents, but she also gave me attitude saying that I FORGED IT. How can I forge a live webpage? Lol. I calmly explained to her that I had just moved up here and these are the documents that I have. She just kept saying she doesn't like my attitude and she can "with hold your package for as long as [she] likes" and "so what if I don't give you your package? What are you gonna do about it?" Supervisor of this shipping facility hung up on me after I called. I had the FedEx main number transfer me to Sunnyvale shipping center. I told him his driver intentionally lied to get his route done early on a Saturday as package attempt claim was falsified as I was home, video camera shows no attempt for delivery was made. He said the driver tried delivering but because it's an apartment complex, he couldn't. What the heck, if the driver came to the address - he would absolutely see it is NOT an apt. complex. Now I have to come home from work Monday and wait for driver to deliver again. It was shipped for Saturday delivery so I could be home to receive it! I shipped a package using 2-Day FedEx, and when I called the 1-800 number to see what's up, they told me there was a delivery exception as the ZIP code didn't match up with the address. The 1-800 operator claimed I could show up before 9PM at Sunnyvale to pick up my package, but when I got to Sunnyvale at about 5:30PM, they said I needed to show up before 5PM. They refused to go inside to get my package outside of their shipping containers. The Sunnyvale rep told me that the 1-800 guys are idiots and have no idea what's actually happening on the ground. Of course, you won't find a number for this location published anywhere, you need to call the 1-800 number and ask specifically to talk to a rep at Sunnyvale. The Sunnyvale rep claimed that the package would be trucked to Palo Alto by the next day, but tomorrow came, and the package was shipped back to *Oakland airport* to be flown to *Oakland airport* and then trucked to Palo Alto the following Monday. The 1-800 operator was wrong about the Sunnyvale center, the Sunnyvale center was wrong about what the FedEx system would do, they don't check street addresses they're given, their "e-mail me tracking updates" system is broken, and the Sunnyvale reps refused to get my package for me, and instead had it shipped back to the Oakland airport. The women working here are absolutely horrendous with their rude and uncalled for behavior. A gentleman asked them to sign a chain of custody form for a package he was sending for work and instead of politely declining they began berating him for even asking telling him that he request violates their civil rights. He asks for a pen so he can make a note and she then begins loudly accusing him of trying to commit fraud, in what can only be an attempt to embarrass him for who knows what reason. He tells her he just needs to make a note that they don't sign, she responds with "yeah that better be what you're doing because the cameras are watching you!" Seriously calm the f down, this behavior is disgusting. I tell her that there's no reason to accuse him of fraud to which she declares I should stay in my own lane. If you hate people this much or are this miserable of a human go find another job where you can sit alone all day, we'll all be better off with that. While I'm waiting for my turn someone comes in with a large package and tells them that they had just given him someone else's package. So if you've had packages go missing it's probably because they are too busy degrading their customers to check names on packages. read more

I payed several hundreds dollars to send a small package using their Guaranteed delivery date service which promised that the package should be received two weeks ago. However, the package was not delivered on time and was almost late for 2 weeks. While the USPS service that I used paid only 1/3 cost of the FEDEX and sent one day later, arrived on time as USPS promised. FEDEX is lame!!! When I called the customer service department and asked for a refund. They cannot give an estimation about either when the package can be delivered or when they can issue a refund to me, plus the customer service representative has a horrible attitude and didn't even show her patience or politeness at all. I told her that I will directly dispute through credit card company. FEDEX customer service is horrible !!! Don't you train your representatives to say sorry about your failures? And I believe FEDEX will have a super lame earning report for the coming quarter with such horrible delivery service and customer service. It's a good chance to short FEDEX stock!!! :) read more

The people there are very rude and unprofessional, I can't imagine how they've stayed employed in any industry. But I think they'll do well in New York. I think eric K. is mistaken, this is not a fed-ex ground facility, nor is ground shipment packaging free. I have not had any negative experiences with the employees here, theyve always been polite, even when I've seen customers being super rude. This location is a FedEx EXPRESS facility. you can drop off FedEx ground shipments here, which I have done on occasion, since the drop box in my office is only for express (read: air) shipments. I dropped off a ground package here last week, because they have the latest pick-up for express shipments, 6 pm. however, the latest drop-off for ground shipments is 5 pm, so I was too late. I should have gone to the FedEx-Kinkos next to the AMC 20 on mission college blvd, their ground drop-off is later. also, when i dropped off my shipment, I only had a fed-ex express envelope. I expected them to have a ground envelope for free. however, the guy at the desk told me that i can use any envelope, even a DHL express envelope, but the FedEx ground envelope cost $1. I exclaimed "that's bullshit!" really loudly, but went to buy the envelope. maybe I scared him, but he was like, dont pay me, just leave. so i got the envelope free. i cant hate on him, just on his company's policies. read more

I had a package to send, and tried to drop it off at a UPS Store.... and not only could the lady not figure out how to accept my credit card and waste about 30 minutes of my time, but she said it was going to be in the range of $25 to have it sent. So instead I stopped by FedEx, and it was about $15 to send the same thing. Go figure. A sincere thank you to Javier (customer support) and Renee (Lawrence Station) for resolving the issue with our package yesterday. They were both professional and personable. I work from home, with a window overlooking the parking lot. It is extremely doubtful that the driver ("Sammy") attempted any delivery on October 16 & 17. After receiving an email that the 2nd attempt failed, I drove 20 minutes to the Lawrence Station location to pick up the package at 5:05 pm. The employee (male, dark complexion, short gray hair, heavy, 55-ish, first name starting with a G) could not have been a more sloppy, appalling failure of customer service. Short-fused and rude, he first told me that the driver was "on his way back" and said that I could "just wait for 15-20 minutes". Then he re-read his screen, suddenly stating that the driver did drop off the package. I told him that it was neither at our door or outside our building. He interrupted, telling me to go home and look for it. If I couldn't find it, I should call him back and he'd "have a conversation with the driver". When I asked him the number, he barked "check your email!" and immediately started speaking to the woman behind me. When I tried to clarify that the email about the failed 2nd delivery attempt, he snapped at me to wait while he first finished helping the woman who had been in line behind me. (There is a gray area. When he first asked for my ID, he made an assumption that I was picking up for my "wife". I corrected him: it was for my husband. Whether or not the hostility directed at me was due to my being gay... from his tone, I'm inclined to say yes. This man behaved like a pig. He's a disgrace to his job and an insult to the company. There was no manager on duty listed at this location: it's as if the information seems to have been intentionally removed from the wall.) Returning home, I contacted our apartment manager. We looked everywhere to no avail. I called customer support. Javier could not have been nicer, assuring me that the package was returned to Lawrence Station and was on the shelf.
