Five stars for the FedEx employee who helped me out and zero stars for the FedEx driver. I ordered a package that I was eager to receive before Thanksgiving having paid extra shipping to do so. I had tracked it meticulously having even signed up for text updates. Sure, I wasn't excited about FedEx due to issues in the past but I thought this would be different. It was and was not. Where it was the same was I received a "could not deliver" notification stating that no one was home. No one had come to the door. No one called. I didn't even see a truck come up. I live in a place that has a locker system where any delivery company can come and drop off packages at any time of day. Nope, didn't happen! The driver just didn't even try. So, I went to the FedEx center at 5 PM when I was told the package would be ready for pickup. I wasn't thrilled because one of the reasons I had this shipped was because it is heavy. Where my typical experience diverged was at the shipping center. The employee who greeted me went to look for my package in the back. Another employee came out twice to ask if I needed help as I waited. The first came out for a moment to tell me that the driver didn't do what they were suppose to do (not surprised!) and then went back to look for the package. After what felt like forever but was probably ten minutes the lady came back out with my package on the cart and then helped me to my car. Between the two of us we wrestled the package into my car and I was on my way. She was great! Friendly, personable, and very helpful but I couldn't help but think of the driver had just done his or her job and delivered the package this poor FedEx lady wouldn't have to be outside trying to get a heavy, large box in my car. I know we don't often get a choice of how our packages are shipped but I would love it if FedEx as a whole improved. read more

FEDEX IS FUCKING TRASH! I ordered two dresses two weeks ago, from CA to WA. Both dresses were needed for weddings. I got a notification saying my package arrived September 1 at this location. It's now September 4, the day of one of these weddings and my dresses still haven't arrived. I spoke with three different people and got three different arrival times. The last women I just spoke with just informed me she was "sorry for the misinformation" and that they don't operate over the weekend and my dresses wouldn't arrive until Tuesday. I could have made other plans to go out and shop for new dresses at the mall but instead I'll be missing both weddings now. read more

Next day air turns into 3 days late... and... delivered, but never received. Was literally standing at my door when my package was "allegedly" delivered. Fedex is the absolute, bottom-of-barrel, garbage option for shipping or receiving anything! In the recent past specifically, and right now. Fedex stole an xbox Series x at christmas, stole hundreds of dollars worth of food from our hellofresh, marlyspoon & sunbasket, and shoes. Every single, and I honestly mean each and every single package I have received from them has a delay and also arrives with damages, and the the package is either wide open or retaped and relabeled. It has been so bad that I have canceled orders as soon as am aware that they will be the carrier. The worst part about it is that they offer no helpful anything - there are no good reviews for them - and forget about trying to make a claim or complain. I have literally had to stop drivers to ask about my package that is showing delivered but it was not delivered - then to learn that it was sitting in the seat next to them! No kidding! Sitting right there in the seat next to them while they reported it being delivered just minutes before. Without a single doubt, had I not taken initiative they would have undoubtedly stolen those packages too! Bermuda Triangle of FedEx! My packages get stuck sitting at the Kent location for DAYS. If a package arrives on Tuesday it won't move until the following Monday. It's completely unacceptable how long packages just SIT at this facility. This is not a one time occurence this is a WEEKLY occurence for nearly a year. FedEx lost my package. It made it to the Kent, WA facility (my city) then got lost or stolen by a FedEx employee. FedEx flat out refused to contact the shipper to let them know my package never got deliver. Janice, from FedEx flat said I have to contact my shipper Rocky Brands/XtraTuff, who also isn't answer phones or responding to emails, then said "I have to end this call." FedEx sucks! I have had so many issues with delayed packages once they hit the Kent FedEx facility. Anywhere from laptops that were "delivered" and never showed up to weeks (plural) long delays and the package says it's just sitting at the facility or it will say it's on its way out for delivery but then somehow it will never make it and it will end up back at the facility. I've also had multiple issue where they say they've attempted delivery but they hadn't because I would be sitting at home waiting. I don't have issues receiving items from any other shipping company. It's always the Kent FedEx shipping center. They are unreliable and falsely record tracking information. read more

I have four packages sitting at the Kent location since January 2; it's now the 8th, they are still sitting with no pending delivery. This location is terrible. There's one story after another about how they do not deliver on time or even weeks later, or they flat out lose your package. This place needs to be shut down. Our neighborhood and the Kitsap Peninsula are always having trouble with this facility delivering its products. I ordered these items on December 21 for my daughter's birthday and now they won't arrive in time by the 12th because they have been sitting there since the 2nd. Unacceptable! read more

Late delivery and bad service, bad combo. I ordered a pakage from amazon and paid for the expedited 1-3day shipping it didn't show up until 6 days later. I even asked if it was OK for me to pick it up since it was at this location for the day it should have been delivered and the following three days. When I called I had to deal with the computer, and then with a person who was trying to be as quiet as possible. In the end no you can't pick up your item they will just hold the item for days even delivery days. In the end it was a waste of 50 bucks. Use UPS, much better. read more

The Fed Ex driver is full of crap. I ordered a package of clothing from Old Navy with 2 days shipping. 2 day shipping is expensive but otherwise the package can take up to two weeks and I couldn't wait that long. Looking at my order number it's a 7 lb package in a bag. Not a box. A bag. So it's not heavy or awkward to carry. It was supposed to be delivered today. I come downstairs this morning to find a notice on my door that they missed the delivery... What? Why? It doesn't need a signature! "Gate closed." I live in a gated community (which even USPS isn't stopped by) so yeah the gate is closed unless you can get someone to let you in. But if the gate was closed how did you get inside the complex to leave a notice on my door? It's a 7 pound bag... However you got in you could've delivered it. I'm now going to make a furious call to Fed Ex to complain about the incompetence of the driver on my route today. read more

The clerk at the counter was very helpful with finding the appropriate box, bubble wrap and she even found stuffing to fill the rest of the space as well as taping it all up for me. I have wedding flowers arriving today from Colombia and the wedding is in two days. Fedex online tracking said they wouldn't arrive until tomorrow, but that they were at the Kent shipping center. I called to ask them to hold the package so I could pick it up today - they said no problem, you'll get a call to confirm once they're ready to pick up. Within 20 minutes, I got a call from them saying that the flowers are already on the truck and out for delivery and I could expect them within the next few hours. I have recently had some high-drama situations with OnTrac (literally the worst) and this was such a refreshing experience. Thank you FedEx! read more

On 9/7/17 my brand new IPhone 7+ was stolen. So i used my insurance to order a new one. Supposedly FedEx dellived my package at 9:35 after leaving the facilility at 9:12, considering my place of work is about 6 blocks from the fed ex building i know it takes about 20-25 minutes to get to my job from my house. Fedex driver left a package with a different address on it at my door. I ran to his truck and handed him back the package and asked why he delived it to my address when it is clearly not my address and my address is completely visible. He said it was his machine that told him to. I guess they do not read to check or verify names or addresses. I went back inside. A few minutes later he knocked loudly on my door. When I opened the door he pointed to a different box on the ground and said "is that you?" I felt like saying can you read? You tell me you're the one who should know where to be delivering packages. But I refrained and looked and sure enough it was my address on that package. When I looked up to tell him yes you finally got it right. He was walking away already. I managed to get in "do your job right" as he plugged in his ear buds to hide in his music. I called fedex to complain about what had just happed and the opperator for fedex hung up on me as I was telling him. What a bunch of p.o.s. and a Shi**y company. I definitely wont ever be using fedex ever again or ever attempting to have anything delivered to my house. I have to use my po box thanks the the incompetency of this company.
