I was surprised to see I left a review of 1 star for FedEx already about 4 years ago. They constantly screw-up. It's not enough that a relative from a few states over paid about $83 total to send me a envelope via FedEx Express about 6 months ago but this review now takes the spot of being the worst company I've ever dealt with, and I'm a pretty old person no less. My pharmacy decided to send me my meds by FedEx Express 'next day' 3 days ago because I currently can't drive and they thought they were doing me a favor sending it next day FedEx Express. Well, 3 days later I still don't have it and it still says 'On FedEx vehicle out for delivery US, LA, COVINGTON'. I was never asked by my pharmacy to do me this 'favor' for me, because I would never allow anything to come by FedEx. I've had many years of problems and apparently 'Ralph' told my pharmacist that it will definitely arrive by 8pm. In 40+ years no delivery service brings out packages after 5pm. Except for Amazon Prime. We live in the country with only 2 houses (w/mailboxes) on my street. The easiest delivery on earth but FedEx Express couldn't get my med's 20 miles to me in 3 days. I have 2 doctors app'ts at the VA on Monday in case 'next day' FedEx Express comes next week. My pharmacist said the FedEx Express office manager blamed it on the merger of FedEx Express and FedEx Ground. I told her that was over 6 months ago! To think Tom Hanks (a favorite actor of mine) made the movie 'Castaway' and was a FedEx pilot reminds me that at one time they were the gold standard for shipping. That's long gone! Would leave zero stars if I could. Had a package "delivered" at least this time they included a semi-blurry picture of someone's doorstep. I could still distinguish it wasn't my doorstep at all. Checked up and down with all my neighbors and nothing. So they either delivered to the wrong building, delivered to the wrong Apt and the person stole it, or the delivery driver stole it after taking a picture. This FedEx seems to not be able to hire reliable delivery drivers!!! We hate FedEx!! This is my review from last year (same issue): 1 year ago: I am sick and tired of whoever delivers my FedEx packages from this location. Every FedEx package I've had that gets delivered by them gets lost, damaged, Goes missing, or is delivered to the wrong address. They always deliver to the floor below me too. It's not hard to read the apartment number correctly. This is being ridiculous and makes me want to cancel all orders that get delivered by FedEx. The frustrating part is no one does anything about it! They always say contact the company where it was sent. They do their claim and text you once a day to say it's being "worked on" only to tell me that it was delivered. No S*!%!!!! Then they tell me to contact the supplier. Well hello if it was delivered and I have photo proof it's a FedEx issue, not the supplier. I also think it's not fair to them (luckily they sent me another package free of charge and thankfully shipped through UPS!!). I tried to contact customer service for FedEx, and I get a loop of the same answers. I just want this FedEx location's delivery drivers to be held responsible. That's it. read more

They are AWFUL!!!! My package has been on a fed ex truck for days according to the tracking but still can't get it delivered. I call the number but the automated system does not connect you with a real person. I don't understand how a business can stay in business treating customers this way. read more

Absolute WORST experience I've ever had. From customer service to delivery. Ordered a package that was supposed to come to my job Friday, received a text saying attempted to deliver but business was closed/customer not there. What? My job doesn't close until 5 and no one leaves before then. No one came. I call customer service and they refused to give me a contact number for the location of the FedEx. Instead, I'm speaking to a foreign guy with an attitude. Attempted to redeliver and received the same error message. I called back and spoke to a foreign woman who said she'd have the delivery guy call me when he's outside. No one ever did. This went on for 3 days. Have you ever ordered a phone from Verizon or an Apple device and had it delivered? Have you ever not been at home upon their delivery attempt? If you answered yes to these questions, this Fed Ex location is for you. This is where undeliverable packages go. The staff are very helpful and will gladly release your package to you after around 4:30. The building is hard to find, but it is located in the Northpark area past the Chevron HQ. read more

If I could give the Covington, LA 190 location a 0 I would. First shipment, was electronic hardware which he threw from the 2nd floor landing, over the rail past my door on the third floor. Luckily my package was ok. 2nd delivery (memory foam mattress) was delivered.....and left on the first floor outside of the apartment building! Again, on third floor. Should be refunded for delivery since technically not delivered to correct address! Driver is an ***hole too. When tried to confront him just kept walking away. I have a 3rd shipment coming and will be sure to address it with him since customer service line is so horrible (60-90min wait)! read more

This facility does not deliver packages properly. The tracking states the package is on the truck for deliver, but it says that for days. When you call FedEx your routed to a national faciliTy and they do not have the accurate information on the package. If your package is being delivered through this Covington facility, you have my compassion, because you are probably going to have major problem. read more

The service is absolutely horrible from customer service personnel to deliver drivers coming out of Covington, La. My mailbox was damaged and the tv was left at my door. Luckily, my neighbor rang the doorbell to alert me of my package with a note that read, "Contact Fed Ex of Covington about the mailbox, Sorry." Phone representatives are requesting a tracking number that has never been provided to us. The tv has my address written on the box with a black sharpie marker. My property has been damaged. I am in the process of obtaining a police report. I will never recommend Fed Ex. Also, I will opt for shopping with vendors who do not use this platform for delivery. read more

I got a computer delivered today, the Fedex man threw my box on the ground, he used so much force, it sounded like a car accident! He intentionally destroyed the computer! Thankfully, I have surveillance cameras because Fedex told me to contact the business that I purchased the computer from! I found out today just how horrible FedEx is on all levels, the driver/delivery person isn't accountable for the packages, he/she is allowed to throw them, they don't have to deliver them to your door either, unless you have to sign for that package, the people answering the phone at FedEx act like your wasting their time, I am shocked, I thought FedEx was a reputable company, they couldn't care any less. I live in California, but if I could give this location 10 stars I absolutely would. Just this past weekend I ordered a surprise delivery of flowers for a 21st birthday... I messed up and did not ask to have the flowers left at the location if no one was there at the time of Sat delivery and the flowers ended up back at the ship center. I resigned myself to the fact the flowers would need to just be picked up Monday, so when I received a call from Gina at the end of the day on a Saturday confirming to hold the package, my only concern was to ask if she thought they might wilt over the weekend and she assured me the storage area was temperature controlled and cool. I thanked her and we hung up... But to my surprise, she called me back a few minutes later and offered to drop them off since the location was on her way home from work. If anyone deserves recognition for going above and beyond to help make a 21st birthday extra special, it's Gina. I had tears in my eyes as I realized she was going to help deliver my floral surprise so it would be on time. Thank you a million times for your efforts to help a stranger. I was supposed to receive a signature required package three weeks ago. The word that best describes their service is "inept". They started delivering it and left two stickers on the door saying they would try again. They said that if I wanted to sign one of the stickers, they would leave the package by the door. I live in an apartment complex and that is not practical. After two days, I called and put the package on hold because I would not be home the next day and they said they would ship it back where it came from if nobody was there. Since I work during the day, I called them and told them not to deliver it. They told me it would be held at a location that is 45 minutes away. So, in order to get my package, I would have to drive one and a half hours. Last night they called me at 9:30 PM and offered to deliver it to my apartment. I agreed to stay at home today to be there when they delivered it. I put a note on the door just in case I didn't hear them knocking that said "I am home". It is now 6:00 PM. When I called 1-800-463-3339, they told me the package was still at the shipping place forty five minutes away and would not be delivered today. I could have driven the distance if I had just known that it was not going to be delivered. I was afraid they were going to deliver it while I was driving to the shipping center, which had happened before. I am just disgusted to be treated this badly. I will not use FedEx again. I will also advise people I purchase from that I will not do business with them if they try to ship something using FedEx. This is just wrong!!!!!!!! read more
