I arrived about 7 minutes early for my appointment and only waited 6 minutes. Off to a good start! Then we opened up the paperwork (which was a bit of a mess) and began the real work. Ms. Brittany was right on top of it - she got me sorted, got my truck registered, and even set me up with a new license while I was there. I want to note clearly: she had absolutely nothing to do with the old man's face on the license picture! I even passed the eye test and had the glasses restriction removed from the DL - how freaking cool is that? I thank the Lord for my continued healing and for this amazing life He allows me to lead. I have had great service in the past but this is the first time coming at 11AM. They don't stagger their lunches. I don't recommend coming at 11-1pm. I was "next" in the virtual queue for 20 minutes! (The queue said 1 minute). This was after waiting an hour. At 1130 each person left one by one for lunch after finishing with their customer. It was excruciating. The service was good as always but they really should only take one at a time. On the positive side is they have a good virtual queue with good updates and once they get to you they take care of business. Went in here for a few things, at different times. They are super nice, one time I believe spectrum was down and like their system was down, they were super apologetic and understood that it was an inconvenience for a few of the clients. That I do appreciate. When things do work it works out well, they have a kiosk right when you get in so you get a place in line and no one gets messed up. Went in to get my wife a Louisiana State Photo ID. She is mobility impaired. I had her LA Drivers License, 8x10 headshot photo Letter from the health care provider attesting to her impaired mobility. Too hard to do box. Latb told me to go to a LA OMV/DPS. read more

This place is really slow and there equipment is not reliable. I had to go back three times because they could get their equipment to work . Of course I had too wait inline each time and pay to find out they couldn't complete a renewal .. then had to wait to get refunded my money .... Check the wait at the DMV next door it maybe much faster or at least there equipment may work. read more

If you want to be treated like a second class citizen, talked down to, read the riot act to the very letter of the law and not helped at all, then this is the place for you. There are two individuals who work at the desk. The lady who was obviously in charge and who was apparently senior to her hapless subordinate was incredibly condescending toward both her subordinate and myself. I went to the place 2 times, diligently trying to get my documents and legalities settled, and it was like talking to a brick wall. I have rarely been more exasperated. In my frustration I went to another title place (Casey and Casey Auto Title Express in Metairie) for help and they actually treated me like a human being. I know that is a novel concept -- common courtesy. But I seriously doubt Louisiana Title Bureau gives a rip. SAVE YOURSELF FROM THIS PLACE. GO ELSEWHERE. * * * I rate the place as one star only because it is impossible to give it zero stars (the truly deserved rating). I have been here many times and always had good service. They are so much more convenient than the DMV. Yes, you pay a fee, but they have notaries on staff to handle things the DMV cannot. I would highly recommend. Most forms can be printed from their website as well. Very quick and convenient overall. read more
