I went to Clearview Auto Title and Notary after having challenges at another Non DMV service center on my New RV Title. I was late in getting my registration and they worked well with the dealership and other entities to get me my new plate and registration completed. The RV is built on a Sprinter Van chassis that can make identification and classification difficult due to the upfot that later takes place. They sorted through delivery dates and many other items to get me legal and completed out the door. The were friendly and had plenty of artwork from the Angola Prison Rodeo to give me something to look at while getting my transaction done. It is a long time family business which is Veteran owned. I try to support our vets whenever possible. Glad that's over and the value came from the ability to have an atypical task completed in a timely manner. I'll be back. read more

Are you a person who likes to stand out from the pack? Do you like to customize your automobile? Do you like fast, friendly service? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you will like Clearview Auto Title. I find the standard license plates issued by Louisiana to be boring. I also think they detract from the rear end of an otherwise beautiful automobile. Since I am a lover of the automobile, I want mine to stand out from the crowd and have a plate that compliments the styling of my vehicle. For my last two vehicles I've purchased specialty plates and both were bought through this store. If you want a specialty plate and like convenience, this is the only way to do it. Here's how: log on to the state omv site, search the specialty plates, find one you like and call this store to see if they have one in stock. If they do, get your current registration, license and proof of insurance and drive to this location. I've visted the store on several occasions and never had to wait more than a few minutes. Both times I wanted a special plate, they had it in stock and I was in and out in under 30 minutes. There is no way I could have gone to the OMV and had that quick service. The staff here seem to be part of the family that runs the business and all are very helpful and friendly. There is a premium to pay for the quick and friendly service, but I think it's worth the extra fee. I only wish they would expand to offering drivers licenses like some title change stores do and have the ability to take orders for personalized plates. read more

I was a bit torn between 2 and 3 stars. They did get the title transferred fairly quickly however 1) The man there is extremely rude (though he did apologize when I said something) 2) I Showed up at 0900 when they supposedly open. Lady doing the titles didn't show up till after 0920. 3) was expecting to walk out with license plate. Instead got a temp registration and temp tags. Not really a big deal, but assumed this was like ABC where you walk out with plates and registration in hand. Would I go back? If it was a Saturday and I was in a bind again, yes. Worst of the worst! I went there 3 times to get a plate for my boat trailer and have the boat motor and trailer transferred over to my son. I was told three different times by three different people what I didn't have. I still walked out with nothing and continued the witch hunt.
