It's hard for me to believe this is still a business! Out of dosens of packages that have been unfortunately sent by this "service" not one hase been delivered in a timely manner or most times returned to sender. The app doesn't help me out with these problems either. Most people what their FedEx, UPS, or DHL shipments to arrive at home on time and whole. Yet, when a signature is required and we're not home (for 3 successive delivery attempts), either the package returns to sender or in my case FedEx was nice enough to call me to arrange delivery options. Wine shipments are the worst, but those aren't the only situations when deliveries can't be completed. I chose to pick it up at the FedEx Ship Center that I've passed many times on the way to the Sassafras Restaurant or Carson Hot Springs. I arrived during the middle of the day and after a little information confusion, my package was securely in my hands on the way to the car. Of course, each individual delivery has its own story and often a review is feast or famine. I'll call this one relief and subject to undefined experiences in the future. read more

Awful. Says they close at 5:30, yet I was refused service at 5:00. She said I might have a "bomb" (it was a textbook)... and she told me to go elsewhere. Very rude, not helpful or welcoming. Not accommodating - was just very rude and made it obvious she wanted to go home. I should mention this is the second time I've been turned away from this "shipping center" simply because the person at the counter didn't have the time to help the only customer in view. YIKES . I am expecting a package at this FedEx location when they're out to delivery, I was at home, but for somehow they cannot reach me! And they're supposed to delivery for the second time, but they never come. I was waiting and waiting at my home all day for the package. Last night a package was delivered to my house which was great except there was no notification or even ringing the door bell. The contents of this package are temperature sensitive. Did not deliver very important package because there was a snow storm in Lake Tahoe, that is understandable. When the storm was over and roads were clear they continued to refuse to deliver the package and eventually returned the package to the shipper. Fed Ex you really let me down. Fed ex is a joke I give no stars to them for customer service or deliveries. I experienced today 02/21/2020 that the driver Larry did not make an attempt to come to my door for the delivery. I was keeping track on my order and noticed it said driver made an attempt so I went down stairs and noticed a door tag on my garage my place is connected to a business but where Larry left the door tag is where the stairs was to my apartment which he made no attempt what so ever to come to my door. When I called immediately after he left it took Fed Ex facility an hr to call me back to say he was already down the hill and I will receive my package tomorrow 02/22/2020. When I spoke to Jennifer the manager of Larry's she had no customer service was rude and said that she spoke to him and Larry said the business was closed well I'm not a business my apartment is connected to a business she said I'll receive the package tomorrow and hung up on me. So I don't get to receive my package today and the insurance paid for the delivery for today not a good customer service business at all. I will say when I spoke to Sierra or Sara didn't really catch her name sorry but she listened and was very courteous to me and polite out of this whole mess that fed ex provided. read more

Jeff the Central Manager is rude, arrogant, and ignorant. As a graphic designer I have done lots of printing at this Kinkos and I've never been especially impressed by the print jobs I got, but I've continued to use them anyway because it's close to me and the staff are mostly very friendly and helpful. However, when I came in today, Jeff assumed he knew what I needed and became irritated with me when I explained. The whole interaction, he was openly dismissive of me and constantly made assumptions instead of listening to me, not to mention that he displayed an ignorance of how personal-use copyright licensing works. I took the print job somewhere else where I encountered no problems. Because I know Jeff is a "Central Manager" I am confident he will not be in danger of losing his job. If he were a regular minimum-wage making employee, I would never leave this review because I wouldn't want to endanger someone's livelihood. I have worked in customer service too, and I know that it sucks. But this guy seriously needs to get it together. read more

This Fed Ex shipping location is fantastic ! Both Catherine and Rose take friendly pride in helping customers quickly when they are dropping off packages, or picking their shipping items up. Other occasional front counter staff like Margie and Gigi are very helpful,too... We have been shipping items through this same CC location since 1990, and have yet to encounter any service issues. Both Catherine and Rose know what they are doing when it comes to all facets of Federal Express shipping, and they are also experts on local Carson City area restaurants, too. Avoid the Fed Ex Office)ex Kinko's) at all costs on Hwy 50 (by Starbucks) if you need something shipped. That operation is the "Land of Confusion"...Remember that great song by Genesis? To wit-that Hwy 50 location carelessly sent our vital Fed Ex package with a Tempe, AZ destination on the Fed Ex paperwork to Orlando, Florida-and then claimed Fed Ex had a "new numbering system" in place that caused the error...Hmmmm, yea, sure..No other Fed Ex location had heard of a "new numbering system" when we checked...
