Some odd reason he took the package back to this location and the lady at the front desk turned down the same person 2 times that tried to get my package, that lady went on break and the one that took her place let the man get my package that was worth $1100!! I was supposed to have an overnight shipment by noon today. It is well past that and no one can help me. They tell me to wait until the end of the day. That is UNACCEPTABLE! Fedex overall has been great on all deliveries. I ordered ten , 50 pounds of deer corn from Walmart .and it was delivered late last night August 16, 2024. It rained and all the boxes were wet but i understand they had no control of the weather . My issue is I woke up this morning to also find my delivery boxes 600 feet down my driveway near the main road. Anybody could have come along and stole my deer corn . They told me FedEx doesn't deliver to PO Boxes. "The only way to deliver to domestic P.O. boxes is to select FedEx Ground Economy." I showed them this directly from the FedEx website and they told me that they still couldn't do it and I should try online. read more

This particular FedEx terminal is abhorrent hot garbage. Just about every time I have a package that routes through this terminal, the driver is too lazy to even attempt the delivery, and will fraudulently mark the package as "delivery attempted", when no delivery attempt was made at all. They will do this for numerous days in a row. FedEx tries to avoid collective bargaining by employing third party contractor drivers instead of actually making these FedEx employees, therefore there is little to no oversight, the drivers basically make their own rules. I ordered a keyboard and mouse combo from newegg.com which was shipped to me through fedex. Ok it got here on time I was happy with that but what I wasn't happy with was THE FACT THAT THEY LEFT THE PACKAGE IN THE RAIN WITH NO PLASTIC AROUND IT OR NO PROTECTION AROUND IT TO KEEP IT FROM GETTING WET. Gravel was spun up and turned over where he carelessly tore up my driveway driving very fast. When asked to take it easy on my rocks, he only denied, denied (lied to me). HORRENDOUS! If ZERO stars were an option, that's what I'd give them. The Fedex Ship Center on Mitchell Bridge Road lost my package and it took literally six months to get anyone on the phone or e-mail who even had any information about it. I could show you dozens of pages of documented interactions that exemplify negligence and apathy. They made me submit my claim FOUR times, because they lost the first three submissions. This company is in my BOTTOM 5 all time LOSER list. (Pun intended.) They never appeared to have any clue what they were doing and only about two of the agents that answered seemed to care in the least. Even if an agent answers a call or message, they give no contact information other than a first name, sometimes an agent number, and the generic claims status e-mail address and the 800 number. Sadly, I used to trust them and tried to send something very important through them, for which they only agree to reimburse a tiny fraction of the cost. I will NEVER use them again. NEVER! Once again this Fedex in Athens has lost a package (3rd one in 4 weeks, 9th one in 6 months) and once again states they will investigate and it will take 3 days to resolve why the driver states it was left at my door when it not only can't be left at my front door but I also know it wasn't left anywhere on my property. Why they just can't contact the driver and ask where he left the package is beyond me. Now I wait for 3 days due to Fedex's screw up.
