I always have a tough time in big office supply stores. For some reason they always seem hard to navigate (like my idea of organization is different from theirs...) This place is no exception, and I often can't find associates out on the floor to help when and where I need it. BUT... That being said, my checkout and print experiences here have always been outstanding. The employees in these areas are usually really pleasant and, especially in the case of the printing area, they understand what I want even better than I do! It is always a smooth process and I am grateful for that. *Also, they ship USPS so it might help to save you a trip the the crazy post office down the road.* read more

DO NOT USE THEIR PRINT SERVICE **ATHENS GA LOCATION** The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is that most people I spoke with were cordial. However, my process from beginning to end was unacceptable. There is a major lack of communication within the company. I placed an online pick up order. When picking up the order, the outside of the box said there were three boxes, but they only had 2 at the store. Come to find out it was delivered from a larger processing center where they mixed the jobs together to consolidate shipping. The next error was that we requested a special cut size, but the pages arrived normal 8.5x11. After speaking with a very helpful customer service rep I was instructed that the store could cut them same day. That turned into 2 days. I picked them up and they were cut the wrong size. Then they said they would reprint them and cut them again. That was on friday. I called on monday and the prints were just sitting there with no instructions for the next employee. So of course they are "busy" and can't provide an ETA for my prints to be cut. Needless to say I'm on my way to pick up my prints and will cut them myself. I will NEVER use their service again. This has placed us way past our deadline for our customers to receive their product. All because they don't talk to one another and wasn't honest with customer service from the beginning about a realistic ETA. I could have done what I now have to do last week and my customers would have received their product in a timely manner. However, to the poor service my company has a bad image. I repeat, I will NEVER use their service again. read more

Our "one hour and it's ready" order was ready. We drive to the store, but they were just kidding. No order is there because Office Depot cancelled it and no one at this store knew why. They also went out of their way to give terrible customer service. The manager even hid in the back. The best part is they charged us for the order they cancelled and told us it's our problem. No refund for you idiot customer! You need to go to your bank and dispute the charge. It's been a week now, no refund, had to drive to our bank, and Office Depot is kicking the can around. In summary, who would buy an expensive item from Office Depot and run the risk of them not refunding your money if they cancel it on you for unknown reasons.Taking people's money, not giving them the product, and making them jump through hoops to get their money back, is a losing business strategy. I ordered a project to be spiral bound and printed single sided. Not only did I have to call for them to actually print it on time, they printed my project UPSIDE DOWN. This is completely unprofessional and aggravating when I was counting on them for a project worth 40% of my grade. This was a careless error that is completely unacceptable for them to not verify it was correct. They also have not tried to make it correct in anyway. Never print your items here. read more

These guys are phenomenal! I dropped by the store to pick up a new power cord for my not so good laptop. They offered to order a new cord for me but warned me that replacement cords were pricey. I explained that I needed to replace the unit soon and didn't want to invest any more $$ into it. Chris offered to find a cord in the back that might work until I decided what to do. This extra effort and consideration lead to my purchasing a new laptop from them. Jason Adams is the most patient person and has provided outstanding service. Thanks guys! read more

I did not have the best experience with online pick up for a process that's supposed to be "convenient". I ordered and paid for the 2 small items online. I go into the store and I wasn't sure where the online pick up location was so I stood in line at the register. When it gets to my turn the cashier directed me to the online pick up area. I followed the signs, though they were a little confusing with one pointing towards the printing area and two others in a corner. There must have been some huge toilet paper special because because there were literally dozens of bags of toilet paper waiting to be picked up and blocking the entire pick up area. The person working the printing station was helping another customer and saw me standing at the pick up counter and never acknowledges me or lets me know that someone would be there to help me soon. So I stand around and wait. A lady then comes in after me to pick up her toilet paper and stands beside me and I noticed she pressed a "pick up" button (that you couldn't even see/get to because of the amount of toilet paper bags surrounding the area and the cashier did not inform me that I would need to press a button for assistance). An employee came to help her and gave her the items she had ordered and took her to a register and signed her out. I figured since we were both in the pick up area the button didn't need to be pressed twice but the employee who came to help her did not acknowledge me at all or bother to ask if I had been helped or if I had items for pick up and never returned after helping the other lady even though I had arrived for my pick up first. So I pressed the button and finally a different employee came to give my items to me and then proceeds to tell me that I now have to wait in line at the register behind other shoppers to sign my items out instead of taking me to a separate register to sign out like the other employee did for the lady with the online toilet paper order. It took 20 minutes in the store for a "convenient process" when I could've picked the items out myself in store and checked out in the same amount of time it took someone to help me. I will not be using the online pick up again until it becomes more organized. read more
