I stopped in for a quick copy and asked for help with printing a photo off my flash drive on heavier paper. The customer service rep with dyed red hair with a white streak and long decorative fingernails was horrible, rude, dismissive and condescending as if she had other things to do rather than help a customer. She took my flash drive and plugged it into the computer and said that it wasn't compatible with their computer and she couldn't help me. This is confusing because 2 weeks ago, I came in with the same flash drive and the worker made me a copy of a photo off the same flash drive with no problem. Not sure why she was so rude but I drove over to the UPS store nearby and had my photo printed off, no problem. I had two custom print jobs on a thumb drive--a 42" x 60" graphic poster and 12 14" x 20" signs. The employee sized the graphic to the best option. The items were ready the next day at a fair price. My husband picked up the order and noticed the signs were printed double-sided which we didn't want. They should have charged us less (half?) for the signs since we were only able to display six instead of twelve. read more

I have tried calling to talk to someone. But whom ever delivers to midvale utah is terrible. I own a salon and I literally have nothing but problems. So much so I am considering dropping the color line I carry because they use fedex! I also have started to look who is delivering before I order from anyone. Because if it's fedEx I won't give them my business. This is bad you guys. You need a company overhaul. Everyone of my clients I talk to say the same thing. Worst delivery company of all. I don't feel like there's a lot you can say about a shipping facility, although they do have other services here. I've only ever dropped off packages, however. My first experience was pretty bad. I waited about ten minutes, and then when one of the employees finally helped me she was extremely curt and unpleasant. It was clear she didn't enjoy her job, and that's too bad, but best to try to hide that from your customers. Earlier this week I stopped by again and had a much better experience. I waited only a minute or two, and the gentleman who helped me was quick and friendly. Hopefully that first time was just a fluke. I can't speak to the quality of their other services, but they do offer copying, packaging (they have some pretty fancy looking boxes and containers), and also have a small section of misc things? Maybe they are meant to be like last minute gifts to throw in your package. I just noticed a Wonder Woman keychain. Lol A little out of place, but maybe people grab that stuff. All in all, it's just fine for shipping, although I never have to wait when I drop items off at UPS. read more

ME: (Painfully thinking about how early I would have to get up on a Saturday before going to an event where I needed the signage they were printing & mounting) Uh.. 8:30am? THEM: Tell you what, how about we just get it done before we close tonight. ME: Like in the next 8 hours? THEM: Ya. ME: I love you. That's pretty close to how it all went down. And I got a call less than 6 hours later saying it was done. And I picked it up because they were open until 11pm. And that's how you get the extra star. read more

With stores like this, there is generally not a whole lot to say in a review. In and out with what you need. However, I had a horror experience at this location; i am hopeful that it was an isolated incident with their staff. I came in first thing in the morning to get some copies and have the sheets quarter cut. Not a big project, 250 two sided copies. I assumed I would be in and out in 15-20 minutes; I was on my way to a presentation. At the time, about 7:15 am I was the only customer in the store; though customers were in and out over my visit. I asked for some color paper, 4-5 colors, bright, but not picky about the colors and the worker got them for me. Problem 1 - (theirs) I went to the self serve machine and inserted my credit card. The machine would not read it. I tried three machines without success. I asked for assistance, and politely shared that I Was in a big hurry to get going. The worker was busy on a project and seemed to take his time to check out the problem. So after a few minutes of trying my card in multiple machines, he offered to get me a store card to use. Problem 2 - (theirs) took another 4-5 min to get a store card for me to use, I asked for enough to make 250, 2 sided copies. The store card started the machine. Problem 3 - (may have been mine; though they made it worse) the machine would not read my USB stick. When inserted, the the screen just said reading for several minutes. I asked the worker how long it wold take; he said usually a minute or two depending ob how much was on it. There was just on file, the on I was trying to print. I was told to give it a few minutes. After about 5 minutes, I asked for helping suggesting something was not working. Took a couple of min for him to get to me and when he did, he tried the same thing I did, and waited for it to come up. Nothing happened. I had now been there for 20 min. Problem 4 - (not sure who is to fully blame here; may be 50/50) he took the USB stick to a store computer; the file could not be read. This was odd, given that had just erased the drive and added just the one file before I left the house. I asked for him to offer another solution; he asked me to email. Problem 5 - (theirs) - The worker went back to working on another project while I sent the email, which took about a minute to send. It then took him a dew minutes to get back to me. I again shared how I needed to leave asap. He opened the MS Word file, and said because I was using a different version of Word, the format was off. I am using the latest version, so I have to assume the store version is older. My laptop was still open, So I said I would send a PDF. I had now been there for over 30 minutes. Problem 6 - (theirs) converting and sending a PDF is a very quick process. Nonetheless, the worker left to assist others. It took him a few minutes to get back to me. I was now getting frustrated but remained polite and friendly. He sent the document to the printer, but of course went on to other tasks before coming back to mine. Problem 7 (theirs) - Once printed, he folded the sheet to ensure that it lined up. While I appreciate him being thorough, I advised that I had done this. Once confirmed, he then added the color paper and started the printing. 40 minutes plus. Problem 8 - (theirs) he completed the prints, and started to pug them in a bag. I reminded him I needed them cut. This took a few minutes as he again was helping another customer. He then went to the cutter. Problem 9 - (theirs) as he went to cut them, he made reference to the number of copies... 200. I then advised I needed 250... He then had to go back to the computer to sent the item again. 50 minutes and counting.... Problem 10 (theirs) - before sending the print, he had to add more colored paper to the tray. He again asked what colors I wanted; my reply... I don't care, what ever is easy as I am very late. He then completed the prints and cuts. After all this, i was paying an hour later. There was no acknowledgement of the delays, and of course I was charged full price for the work. BTW, the prints were for a non profit project. I was disappointed that despite the challenges, my needs were not addressed; the live customer standing in the store. Much of the time I was there, he was working in a project for another customer who was not there. While I acknowledge they have other tasks to complete, the challenges should have escalated the attention if the staff. It took an hour to get out of there. So ridiculous! A couple of days later I needed some more copies; ironically the same credit card was accepted by the machine. The customer service level with my problems were not well addressed and with other options, i will certainly take my business elsewhere. I am here to sing the praises of this FedEx store and the two wonderful women who helped us send a difficult package. It was my daughters doll house and accessories. We wanted to send it to her daughter, they live in Canada. It required them to build a box, it was to large for the normal ones. Sheri built the box and packed it as it were fine china. Lourdes walked us through the paperwork for international shipping. I can not say enough about how kind and thoughtful and thorough they were. I just did FaceTime with my granddaughter and watched her unpack her present. It arrived exactly when it was scheduled and in perfect condition. Sherri you did a great job packing and building the box, thank you and thank you and Lourdes for finding a way to get this delivered. I will sing your praises every chance I get. Thank you so much. The worst customer service I have ever experienced!!Lady behind the counter looks at you doesn't say a thing, takes forever for an email to show up in here. you can forget going in for getting five prints made because then they turn around and tell you it's gonna take an hour because the they are too busy; making excuses on why nobody is there to help out during the Christmas season "rush" (only two of us in the damn place) and she much rather bitch and bellyache about the fact that she's so busy and have so much to do instead of actually trying to get the people there in and out. Very simple, imagine I got 10 new hire employees waiting for me at one of our locations here in Utah. I physically came in to Fed Ex a day before for this very important hiring packages for an event in our company. Fed Ex: no problem this will be ready Saturday at 8 am Me: walk into Fed Ex at 11 am on Saturday and waited 30 min for them to help me. Assistant manager: approaches me to help me, guess what? They don't have my order ready. I had to come back to my event that starts at 1 pm and put up a plan or excuse to dismiss 10 hiring employees including managers. Can we really trust FedEx? I don't think so. An assistant manager couldn't help me? I have no words to describe this very disappointing situation. read more

Asked for assistance on printing something that needed to be 25% of the page. It didn't print out at 25%, but full page, so we went to copy and adjust from there. The lady who helped me messed up 3 times and told me that "you just have to play with it" until it gets to the right size. When I asked if she was charging me for her mistakes she said nothing and walked away after I recommended the change that worked. Paid 4x what I should have. While it was only a dollar, the fact that she charged me for her mistake is beyond terrible customer service. I won't be back to this location. read more

I'm kind of surprised at the low stars. I mean you have to review them for what they are a shipping/printing company and when you look at it from that lens I think they're wonderful. Every time I've gone in they've been super polite and helpful. They are professional and courteous when there are a number of people that need to be helped and ask you to wait. They have various supplies you can use for free. My most recent visit I had to print up invitations for my daughters birthday. They've updated the system so you can just email your document directly to the store and they do the work for you, rather than paying an internet fee, and struggling with an unfamiliar machine like you used to have to do. The young man helping me explained how the processed worked and showed me option for the cardstock. The only change I'd make is quoting the price before hand, but since I only printed two pages it didn't really matter. I was then able to use their professional straight edge cutter to cut out the invitations which was super helpful. The location is always clean and well lit which is great and they're open until 10 which is helpful to me because more often than not I'm running out after work, kids activities, dinner and bedtime to try and get stuff done. read more

I've used this location for 5 years and have found the service to be very hit or miss. Sometimes the customer service is friendly and professional. At other times (the last 3 times) the service is anything but professional, e.g., have had drill sergeants in OCS in the Marine Core that were warmer. I only had 4 one page PDF documents that I needed 5 copies of each...they treated me like that was a huge burden! I went in to this location to have a few images scanned and one of them ended up being cut off and miss fed. So when I returned I was unhappy to be told we don't do that service. After some discussion with even my jump drive and receipt as proof I was told "well we will try and see" then I was asked when I wanted to pick it up.? I advised it had taken 5 minutes to do them all the first time and I only needed one redone. Roger told me usually i would need to leave it for a few days. Finally he agreed to do it. The first time I was charged $4 each, this time $12 for one and it was their error no credit even for the first $4 I spent. Very unhappy read more

Terrible customer service. Went in for a quick self-serve print, when the machine wouldn't read my drive, neither of the women working would help, they just acted like it was my fault. Don't recommend for professional use, or for personal use for that matter if you'll be treated so poorly. read more
