The great thing is you can email it directly to them, then they'll print it off--AND they have various options of "niceness" if you don't want just regular ol' printer paper. The employees, although it always takes just a little time because there is usually another customer or two before me, are great and know what they're doing. They are helpful and provided me with great understanding of what I needed. Overall, really a pleasant experience. I don't know how things would be, had a done an online order instead of face-to-face, but again, I thought the customer service at the printing department was very painless. Same store, not much has changed over the years since my first reviews. That's okay, the few…read moreupdates (new copiers, new credit card terminals) have sped things up a bit, but I find it's really what you get out of it. If you're stuck behind someone who doesn't know what they're doing or if they're getting once copy of 89 different things, you're just going to have to wait. A few weeks ago I was in a crazy rush and I was able to get in, get their attention, get what I needed, do the self-serve machine, and get back out FAST. Mostly fast... the dude there wanted to chat and normally I'm all about the conversation, but that night I was in a rush. The point is, on more than one occasion they have come through for me and for that I'm truly thankful. I tend to have two kinds of visits: leisurely and frantic, and they're cool with both. And now for a bit of poignant copy wisdom: a copy is only a copy, no matter how wonderful. Once you have created something new and original, everything else will just feel like a copy. Ponder this.

I glanced around a bit more, looking for signage to affirm my thoughts, and I found none. Nope, not going out of business, just a careless atmosphere. I was in and out rather quickly-all I needed was a ream of paper so my son could print out a homework assignment. I would typically browse a few minutes while shopping to see what else I might need. But I did not feel like I wanted to spend any more time than absolutely necessary here. Customer service was fine-it doesn't take much to ring up a purchase. But something about this store made me feel a little bummed out when I left.

This was my first time returning an item to Amazon. Following the return instructions, it says that…read morerepackaging or labeling is not required. The only thing that Amazon asks you to do is show UPS the return QR code. It may have been a full moon the other day but the stars sure were in alignment today! Found convenient parking, walked in with no line, AND the customer service was really nice. Best of all, returning the item to Amazon was free and I didn't have to repackage it or label it. Without any hassle or explanations, the employee scanned the QR code and printed a return postage receipt. I didn't even stay longer than one full minute in the UPS store LOL This is too easy. Now I understand why folks shop on Amazon. Thank you UPS for accepting my return item, repackaging it, labeling it, and shipping it back to Amazon. I already got my refund from them!

I have been buying ink for my 13 year old HP all in one printer for years from their Sugarhouse…read morelocation and have never had any problems with their ink. In December, I printed tons of a single picture to send out with my Christmas letter. Again, no problem. Two or three months later, I tried to print out a color document for my son, and the red or magenta color would not print at all (everything was shades of blue, green, yellow, or black). To make a long story short, I was invited to take my printer into the Midvale store and she swapped out my ink for newer ink, and ran it through the cleaning process multiple times. It didn't work. We swapped back to my ink, and then I took it to a professional printer repair place (who did deep head cleaning), and the color still was off. Both, Cartridge World and the printer repair place said that I should photocopy a small multi-colored color wheel as least once a month, so that ink doesn't dry inside the very tiny parts. I am lucky that our printer lasted 13 years, right! I don't think the ink was the problem, it was that it was left unused for so long, or maybe something in the machine glitched, so much so that the repair place couldn't fix it either. The Midvale store employee took time with me on the phone and at the store to try to get my printer colors working again, for no extra charge for ink. I will go back and buy more ink when my new printer runs out of ink. She even told me to bring in my old ink cartridges to swap to buy any new ink.

When we received the cartridges we were impressed with how clean they were. When we returned home to check the ink out, everything was perfect. Wow, the refilled cartridges were a fraction of the cost of new ones and they work like new. We will definitely go back to this great store!
