FedEx used to have a great reputation amongst the delivery carriers however they're slipping and I don't know if it's difficult finding drivers and they had to lower their standards or what but I'm getting damaged packages. My package is not even placed on the porch placed closer to the sidewalk and my relatives are experiencing the same thing in another town and this is all out of the FedEx Saline Michigan hub. So whoever they have delivering to Adrian, Michigan and Dundee Michigan is substandard and I tried to file a complaint locally but I can't get a hold of the Saline hub you call the 800 number you get a foreigner. FedEx Ground delivery is absolutely horrible. They clearly do not care about disabled customers. I am disabled and live on the 3rd floor with no elevator. I set up FedEx Delivery Manager exactly as instructed by Wayfair, added clear delivery notes, and called FedEx dispatch multiple times to make sure my heavy packages were delivered to my door. They ignored everything and dumped my packages downstairs by the mailbox where I could not get them. My bed delivery was also delayed from Thursday to after 5 PM Friday, leaving me with no help and no way to contact them until Monday. Lazy, careless, and unacceptable service. Do Not use FedEx to ship to UMichigan!!!! FedEx has my entire dorm room "on hold" for delivery for over 5 days, because they couldn't handle delivering the packages during student move-in! I am in graduate school at Michigan, and because I had all my bedding, clothes, etc shipped, I've had to extend my hotel stay at great expense!!! It has been so stressful dealing with FedEx! FedEx refused to allow me to pick up my boxes, or deliver my items at another FedEx ship center for pickup! I had to start buying new dorm supplies, running to multiple Stores all over Michigan (paying for expensive Ubers rides) because store shelves are empty after undergrads arrived. I was promised by FedEx "priority" delivery every day for the past three days and still no delivery! I don't think FedEx legally can hold my items and refuse to release them! I don't have time to deal with this nonsense while starting an intense graduate program! FedEx Ground out of Saline Michigan was to deliver a package, but the claim weather would not allow them to deliver. I asked my neighborbor who works for the National Weather Service if this was true. She leave the pool and we go to her apartment, she logs in and finds clear to lite clouds and temp 74 to 80 degrees, in a 50 mile track from FedEx Saline location to my apartment. The next day I receive two emails sent at the same time from FedEx. Email number 1 states the package will arrive today. Email number 2 states states the package will arrtive in two days. Drivers will pull into your drive but not deliver your package. Watched them pull in and never get out If the truck. package was initially 2 days early and I wasn't available for signature and get email with failed delivery attempt. My packages come to the saline location, less than 20 minutes from where I live, and is delayed for seemingly no reason other than they don't feel like delivering it. We ordered a computer from NewEGG. This package had a signature required. I sat in my house all day waiting for the package so I could sign for it. No one ever knocked on my door or rang the doorbell. Then the tracking updated as received. There was a notification that the package was signed for by M WOOD. The original purchase is MWOOD and HE wasn't even at the residence at the time of delivery. Furthermore, the package was left outside in the rain, and the seal was open. my regular driver James is awesome... but substitute drivers and lousy customer service are a f'n plague. my account clearly states that someone must sign for ALL packages. substitute drivers are 1.leaving my packages in snow banks...damaged 2. scheduled pick ups keep getting not picked up 3. some customer service when i give them confirmation of these scheduled pick up fails actually hang up on me bc they can't find it on their screen ( happened 3 times yesterday...then i got a rep who found my "failed" scheduled pick up via the confirmation # i gave them. 4.a substitute driver told 2 guys who were helping me set up a carport ( not me, i was nearby ) that she couldn't finds my box on her truck and that she would be back later to delivery it...oh and the guys told her they didn't live here...she said that was ok...and to give me the message. she never came bac k with my parcel. 5. 2 weeks ago Saturday i watched a substitute fedex driver break the door to my mailbox put a parcel in it and take off. 6. i reported the sub who broke my mailbox immediately ... still no response from FedEx to the complaint. I told my regular driver a few days what happened and he said he would tell his supervisor. the scheduled pick up is for 2 heavy/large parcels that are high priced returns. i am a double mastectomy patient...so i am not supposed to lift heavy items...i keep having to drag these parcels into protected areas after every failed pick up...there have been 3 so far...and of i have to reschedule these failed pick ups. between the near $1000 in returns still not processed bc of fedex scheduled pick up fails, the $480 in damaged deliveries left in the snow & the fedex sub driver who broke my mailbox illegally leaving a delivery in my mailbox instead of ar my door...it will cost me $120 for a new mailbox and to have someone install it for me ... i am currently put $1600...and have the bonus of excruciating pain physically struggling to move/protect/locate the parcels not being picked up, not correctly delivered, soaking wet boxes...etc That is $1600 that i should be using to pay my bills and pay for my cancer meds... I live on a *well maintained* private road. Every other delivery service is able to come down my road and leave my package on my porch. I live in an apartment building, I had 4 packages coming from the same seller, I forgot my apartment number (my fault) BUT I received the first two packages because they were simply left on the front porch, all good there, TWO DAYS LATER. The other two packages were declined delivery because "customer was unavailable" which makes no sense because the first packages arrived with out issue. One star is too high a rating. They deserve a minus ten rating. Three separate shipments I received were NOT delivered to the front door even though they were marked as such. They were thrown in the driveway. The incidents are recorded on my door camera. Each time I called and filed a complaint but nothing has been done to correct the behavior of the driver. The call center is a joke. All calls go to an answering center in India and answered by individuals who do not have a command of the English language. UPS has far better service. They marked our package as delivered at front door. That was a lie. So we called them to ask where our package was and they said they would have to investigate it. One hour they called back to let us know it was in the warehouse and would be delivered the next day. So still no delivery on that day. We called first thing the next day. This is not the first problem I have had with this location. I order a lot of items and always get them on time from FedEx except from this location! I hate when I track a package and find out it has went to this location. When it goes to this location I either never receive it or it is always extremely late. I never write a review but this time has been the worst. I ordered a shelf type thing for my grandpas wake. Due to COVID can't hold a regular funeral/wake so we planned on this big shelf to hold a tv and hundreds of pictures and people would go to a room one by one to say there goodbyes. I payed for 2 day delivery that costed a fortune! Here it is 5 days after when it was to be delivered and still have not received it. I have spend the last few days on the phone with FedEx being lied to by every single person. The 8th was to be delivered was on a truck but no show, 9th at the warehouse again? December 10th in a trailer at the warehouse in saline still? December 11th no info, December 12th updated info be delivered on Monday the 14th. No thank you to late for what I needed. FedEx was no help called so many people and I only got to talk to them on the 9th, and 10th because my delivery date said pending now it has a date again can't get ahold of anyone. I was told by 3 people at FedEx promised me I would receive it on the 10th for sure. Then on the 11th they swore I would receive it I never did but called them all day as I really needed this item was told so many different story's. The tracking department told me I would receive it the 12th for sure as FedEx only has 72 hours to get you your package after a delayed delivery. I called an hour and a half before FedEx closed to ask if I could just go pick it up myself since they didn't want to do it and it's just sitting there when I payed for 2 day shipping Nope can't go get your own items. Then I talked to another representative because I was angry and hung up on the other one told me yes you can pick it up today before 6 she put in a request she said for me. Driving the hour away to saline when I realized I didn't know which location in saline called FedEx back and was o formed by another agent I could not pick it up it was on a unloaded trailer in saline? I'm totally frustrated and angry with the extremely POOR delivery service the Fedex Saline Michigan location is providing. If I could rate it below 1 star I would. This is the 3rd day this week that my was rescheduled AFTER BEING ON THE FEDEX TRUCK EACH SCHEDULED DELIVERY DAY....with NO reason given. It has happened a couple other times but I always received next day. When I called Fedex 800# all I got was a recording that my delivery is scheduled for tomorrow. Impossible to speak to a real person there! And when I tried the Saline Michigan number I found when doing a Google search, it's just constantly busy. My package doesn't even weigh 2 pounds and I know it isn't in a large box since it's only 2 small toys and a couple thermometers. We pay for a "premium" shipping service to get our orders as needed and expected. Not this increasingly no-service and no-delivery scam they're currently providing. Never had an issue with FedEx until this past week. I had ordered a microwave and it was late being delivered as it sat in the Saline warehouse for 4 days. Then it was finally delivered and left out in the rain/snow. Box was soggy and dented. Microwave didn't work correctly and had to return it. A week later, another package was supposed to be delivered. In the warehouse for 2 days and I tracked the package to see when it was supposed to be delivered (already late) and it was out on the truck for delivery. A couple of hours later, FedEx updated my tracking stating my package was damaged and had to be returned to the sender. UGH !! I will inform the 2 different companies I had ordered from not to use FedEx. It seems that the drivers and the warehouse don't care about the packages and delivery dates. I ordered $650.98 worth of auto parts from JC Whitney in Chicago, Ill. On 6/28/19 at 9:20 am fed ex delivered 2 boxes. He did not call or use the door knocker. I was home. The driver left $600 + worth of parts, leaving them in 2 boxes on my front porch, where it rained later in the morning. Being metal, they were left there to rust or be stolen. The driver took the front rotor (3rd box)with him to be delivered with a signature...3 days later! So when I started replacing the brakes I had to go to an auto parts store to get another rotor to replace the one the driver did not leave.
