I have counted on this FedEx office for sending packages in a timely manner but one morning I realized there were no bonus points for getting there super-duper early in the morning. They weren't even open yet! What? Darn. I had to leave and come back later. What I didn't know is that there is another FedEx outlet only a few miles north on State Street that is open 24 hours. The place on Concourse is just a hair closer to my house and off the beaten path, so it's probably still good when the traffic is thick, but when I absolutely, positively have to submit something to FedEx in the wee hours of the morning, I'm going to the other location. Switched my business to UPS I would advise you do the same. I send thousands of packages and there is always something wrong with the FedEx packages, late or not delivered on time. Haven't had a single issue since I switched to UPS. I'm sure this isn't the case with FedEx everywhere but here in Ann Arbor the FedEx is incapable of good service they shouldn't even be in business still. Or corporate needs to come and train these delivery drivers and warehouse workers because it's a joke. Everything is always fine until it gets to Ann Arbor then it will be 4 extra days before receiving the package after it's scanned into the building. I called and complained and asked where my package was one time and they returned it to sender, I'm pretty sure out of spite of me complaining. read more

The rudest customer service lady. The one with the curly hair. She ignored the information I gave her and instead was highly condescending, and tried to "teach" me how to ship a package. Honey I ship at least 10 packages a day for the past two year of running my business I do not need a lesson. After her eye rolling and talking over me, she STILL messed up. And printed my full information on the packages to customers when it's supposed to be coming from my business. Her solution was then to use a market to cross out the info I didn't want shown. How tacky. And now my customers are receiving a package with bulky white wrapping and her scribbles- great. Never come here if you want to be treated like a normal person and have your packages go out as nicely as you brought them in. Yikes! read more

They don't follow the hours listed online or what I was told my phone earlier today. They are supposed to close at 5 pm. I arrived at 4:45 on Saturday as someone else was walking out, and the lady inside locked the door in my face and said they closed at 4:30. read more

My FedEx delivery driver keeps leaving packages directly in front of my garage door. When I pull out of my garage, I can't see the package because the car is higher up than the package. I have accidentally driven over three packages now. I don't understand why it is so difficult to put the package on the front porch. read more

I had a great experience here today, thanks to Jill! She was super helpful and friendly. I was returning a large rug and she helped me wrap it up securely so it wouldn't get damaged. FedEx is the only delivery service whose drivers consistently ignore my front door sign which says use side door, including deliveries. Today they also ignored my dry porch to throw the cardboard envelope onto the damp ground. Customer service says all they have to do is leave it on the property, & they can't file a complaint because it's the busy season - call back in a couple months. No wonder the 1st three FedEx numbers I called were no longer in service. Wonder how they stay in business. read more

This FedEx has the worst delivery drivers. I order a lot of packages and I cringe anytime I see that FedEx is handling my package. My partner and I both work from home so we're literally here all day long. I've left notes on the door, and I have, possibly, the world's loudest buzzer. Short of waiting on the curb all day and flagging down the truck, I can't imagine how I could possibly be more available. Today UPS delivered a package (right to my door) with no trouble so I checked the status of my FedEx package and it said that they had been there just 15 minutes earlier. I called and according to the driver he rang the doorbell. It's just not possible. The same thing happened a few months ago. I ordered a table and it arrived (finally) broken. The replacement ALSO arrived late and broken. It's honestly amazing how much more competent EVERY other delivery service is than FedEx. read more

It has been my repeated experience that the local FedEx driver or drivers will refuse to ring any doorbell on my son's apartment building to try to get one of my packages delivered. to him - or even to leave the package in the vestibule - even when I indicate on the package and the shipping papers that this is an acceptable option. To make matters worse, when I speak to the corporate people at the local dispatch center, they either evade the issue completely or outright lie about the issue to me. I have now twice in 3 weeks had a ground driver not deliver on the first day that he has it in his truck. He scans it in on his truck, drives around with it all day and never delivers it. So I have to wait a second day for what was shipped within the same state 4 days... How is this ok. read more

OMG...I just checked the tracking number, and it's saying FedEx LEFT THE PACKAGE AT THE FRONT DOOR because there was no requirement for a signature. Are you kidding me? First off, I'm at work. I can't get there to take it in, and I don't have the most trustworthy neighbors. If you think that box has a chance in hell of being there when I get home, you're dreaming, pal. Second, it's rained every day this week, and it's probably going to do it again today. You're leaving it to get damaged? USPS is a helluva lot more thoughtful than these people. Been waiting for a package to be delivered that was supposed to be delivered in the morning according to the message Fed Ex left on my answering machine yesterday. Let me tell you Fed Ex when you tell me you are going to deliver a package in the morning that means between 8am and 12 noon. It is currently 4:45 pm and still no package. Just called your lame asses and was told by some spic in Mexico that it will be here before 6pm. You got 1 hour and 15 minutes MFers. Sure is nice I get to waste my whole Saturday waiting on you lard asses when it is the first nice Saturday weve head in 4 months. I could be out in my vette picking up a nice piece of....... something, but no I'm waiting for some piece of poop Fed Ex driver. Your only hope is it's a babe and she is on her last delivery of the day and wants to see what my bedroom looks like... Oh wait that only happens in Penthouse.... You better be here by 6 or this poop is really going to hit the fan. I pity that driver when they get here. Oh and by the way try hiring some frealing American workers and quit outsourceing American jobs to Mexico, the Philippines, and India. You could put a ad in the Detroit News tomorrow for Customer Service Reps and pay them $8.50 an hour with no benefits and have a line a mile long as the unenployment in Detroit is damn near 40%.... read more

Let me just say that there is zero customer service here. No willingness to help. I had an emergency delivery needed and even told the customer service representative that i would pay extra or meet the driver so that I could have the package today. Driver said no and the rep said nothing else i can do or would do. That is a quote. DO your self a favor and use USPS or UPS. or anyone else that is willing to make sure a package gets delivered right and on time. read more

I dislike being "that person" and this is my first post on Yelp. However, I feel compelled to make my experience known. We've been sorely disappointed by FedEx for more than a decade. We live at a long-established house/address but FedEx always labels our packages as "incorrect address" (despite our assertion to the contrary) and we must battle for days to get our packages delivered, if at all. We call regional centers and provide precise and detailed instructions, AND our phone numbers to call us if they have a problem locating our clearly marked location. No calls. Just more "delivery exception" notifications. We paid for a package to be delivered Thursday, not knowing it was FedEx that was handling it. Delivery exception Thursday. We spoke to FedEx managers Thursday AND Friday, giving detailed directions. They confirmed our location using satellite imagery, got our phone numbers and promised delivery Saturday. Saturday came and went. We checked online and found another "delivery exception - incorrect address" notification, entered into the system at 4 p.m. Incidentally, we had a neighbor who was aware of our problem with FedEx and they spotted a FedEx truck stopped at the end of our driveway for a moment before taking off again. Without revealing the time of the delivery exception notification, I asked the neighbor what time the truck was at the end of my driveway. The answer? 4 p.m. We needed the package contents for Saturday, and now we're told by a supervisor that because of the holiday, we can't arrange for a third delivery attempt until Wednesday. That means the package will be nearly a week overdue, and if previous attempts hold true, the package will simply be returned to the shipper with no phone call. It's been the same runaround for about 15 years, with so many "sorry for the inconvenience" replies I've lost count. And no, we're not driving 40+ miles to the distribution center when we've paid for it to be delivered. We've asked, begged for detailed address location information to be placed in a database, to no avail. We try to plug in detailed instructions when the package is on the way, or contact a shipping center, to no avail. What can we do? We're tired of making calls, sending emails, simply for expecting someone to do their job. read more

Happened on multiple occasions, the Local FedEx driver neither rang the door bell or knocked on the door. He basically ran up, posted a notice that no one was home and took off before I could catch him. I called customer support immediately the second time this happened and was put on hold for 15 minutes before they dropped my call. Called back and managed to speak with someone, apparently from outside US, who took my info. FedEx local customer support called me 30 minutes later. Said they would try to contact the driver. They called back again several hours later in the day, but said driver had returned to office left the envelop and left for the day and that I would have to pick it up myself. I spoke with the supervisor and she basically insinuated I was lying about what happened. When they finally agreed to send another driver out, I requested an apology, but she said "That's not going to happen". So you basically have poorly quality delivery drivers, no way for dispatch to contact them and "Zero Customer Satisfaction" from the customer support for this place. read more
