Mega stuff and things since 1917 (12/23/17)
Marie B.

I've visited here eons ago and still have my military grade shovel in my car trunk...store in existence since 1917. Another similar military surplus store had closed in SoDo, so I managed to find street parking in Belltown, proximate to Pike Place Market when we visited on 12/23/17. We used up nearly 45 minutes of metered parking just wandering all of the aisles. Everything you could think of military grade is there. Store staff are very helpful, as they ask if you need assistance finding something in particular. I definitely eyed pea coats on sale and other cool items like socks, map bags, sailor uniforms, military blankets, and axes, but had to settle for US Navy T-shirts instead (my late father served 20+ years, I'm a true Navy brat). Definitely a different shopping experience in downtown Seattle!

Boyfriend wanted to stop in and check out their pocket knives. They had a nice array but he didn't end up buying anything. I enjoyed all the unique items like bagged water, dehydrated food, BODY BAGS, thick flannels, pea coats, even cute army/navy costumes for toddlers. The coolest find was the notebook that had pages which were water resistant. The entire book was submerged under running water and it held up amazing!

Very clean, very organized, very friendly and appreciative staff. I'm from Canada, and this is the best A&N surplus I've ever shopped at. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for quality used military goods.

I love this place. I am not really connected to it, but I am a soldier in the U.S. Army. I am an E-4, and my MOS is 68K. I think it's still fair for me to write this review. This place has just about everything related to the military that anybody, soldiers and civilians alike, could possibly need. Don't expect to walk in here and come out carrying an M16 and grenades, though. It's more supplies that you'll find here, and they stock plenty of everything you could ask for. That's the reason I'm giving them five stars. Until I find a more thorough store that carries military supplies, this is as good as it gets. Let's see, on my multiple visits here, I've purchased an MRE, pouches of emergency water, an Army t-shirt, a baseball cap that says "Proud to be an American," a flag, and a flagpole. Those last two items don't come together, unfortunately. But I can't think of a more obvious or a better place to get things like this. Plus, what's a better way to show your patriotism than buying those things here? There are also a lot of things here that I'll never need and/or that exceed my budget. One of the people in my recruiters' office mentioned that he got a rucksack (one of those backpacks for ruck marches) for $300 at this store. There are also lots of knives and other camping materials that I have no use for, but it's probably worth mentioning them in this review anyway. They have tons of military-related clothing; I don't need them as my ACU is provided for me, but if you really need those items and have the money to spend, there's no better place than this one!

Clothing that actually fits my large body was available on rack in Seattle. I bought a few items and it is working out well.

Expensive but a big selection of everything. My son bought new boots. They had a large in stock inventory to choose from.

I have a valley forge 47 star untouched flag with the original stamp on it. How can I find out what the value of it is?

Do they have any Ben Davis clothing?

Yes they do! Pants, shirts, beanies and T-shirts. Great place &prices along with a very friendly and helpful staff.

Are they a licensed dealer? Could I buy a gun online and have it shipped here?

We have not sold guns in over 50 years.

The woman didn't acknowledge me regardless no eye contact or hello when I entered. Even if your helping someone you could say hi. Maybe because I wasn't a hot guy cop. A gentleman eventually came from the back he thought maybe I was just accidentally found the store. I told him I was curious and the Yelp ratings were great. He then told me I really can't buy to much from there because they sell to security and officers. I could have spent and was going to spend an easy 100$ -$200 worth of stuff but since I was profiled as some girl just looking around I'll take business elsewhere. Be aware to bring your accreditation or guard card he was pretty shocked when I told him finally since he never asked if I was looking for anything or if I worked in the field. I could have purchased a few things for shooting or tactical or just in general needs I have for work. Sucks I was looking forward to coming here all week and even told a few officer friends about the place they didn't even know was there. Now I will provide all my feedback. So ladies if you enter this store don't look girly go more butchy and maybe you will not get overlooked like me. Note to company. I was really disappointed leaving your store today. If only you knew how much I shopped. For others I did see a lot of good stuff so that was nice to see.
