Helpful, courteous, and attentive friendly staff, always there when you need them, but at the same time unobtrusive. The rooms are really spacious, bright & airy with lovely, modern decor, and as mentioned, spotlessy clean. All the usual room comforts are provided such as tea/coffee making facilities, ironing board+iron and TV. The bathroom was really gorgeous too with a roll-top bath plus walk-in shower. Expensive smelling toileties & beautifuly soft white fluffy towels completed the superior ambiance of the whole building. Breakfast was a delightful experience, with excellent quality locally sourced food, and plenty of it. Some things were even home-made too, like the delicious jams and marmalade. Oh, and better not forget to mention that they also cater for veggetarians. There is lots of attention to detail here, with everything you could want to hand - and if it's not there just ask, & you will be given - with a smile, I might add! I can't praise the owners high enough for their unwavering consideration towards their guests, which in my opinion more than ensures return visits, and plenty of them! To summerize: Outstanding. If I could award more than five stars on this reveiw, then believe me, I would - ten times over!!!

I'm going to give this 5 stars for being a great Premier Inn, not for the grade of hotel…read more It's brand new, built by the river next to the Worcester County Cricket ground, which on my visit was completely underwater, as you can see in the picture! Rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable with all the usual facilities that you would expect from a Premier Inn - en suite bathroom, large TV, hairdryer, tea & coffee facilities (no biscuits though), choice of pillows for the bed, and 30 minutes free Wi-Fi. Minimal, but all you need for a good night's sleep - in fact, they do say that they will refund your money if you don't sleep properly. I was tempted to put this to the test as I didn't really get back to sleep after being woken up by the room upstairs returning at 1.30am, but that's not the fault of the hotel so it would have been churlish of me to complain. The check-in has two automated desks similar to ATMs or airline check-ins that are very easy to use, although there was a very helpful and friendly staff member on duty as well to help guide you through the process if needed. They also reassured me that the night watchman would keep an eye on the car in the car park and wake me up if the rising flood waters, which were already covering a third of the car park, threatened to engulf it. The bar and restaurant is in the building, and the staff both at the bar and at breakfast could not have been more helpful and friendly. I didn't eat the evening meal in the bar, but the menu looked OK and reasonably priced. Had I not had a prior engagement I would have eaten here quite happily. As usual at Premier, breakfast is extra but it's worth buying one as you can eat all you want from the buffet. There was a good choice of hot food to order, including vegetarian sausages (yay!). This might be because the place is new and they're trying to make a good impression (it worked!), but I hope it lasts, as this is a very convenient location close to the city centre when visiting Worcester.

A secret place that doesnt come any better!!!…read more Spent a few days here and wow was I surprised. It was unbelievably cold outside but warm and cozy inside. Two wonderful glowing fireplaces helped, as did a wonderful pot of tea. The rooms are amazing. You so wouldn't expect it but don't judge a book by its cover. You have everything you need in the room and it is just so warm and inviting. We actually had a look at a few of the rooms and got to choose the one we wanted. Went for amazing walks, saw many foxes, pheasant and hare's. The staff are very accommodating and go out of their way to make you feel looked after. Now we come to the kitchen. The guy working there know's what he's doing. Over a couple of days we had some fantastic meals. Every dish that came out was just right. Plates were warm, food was hot and almost unbelievable that you have only 2 guys in the kitchen putting out such amazing food. Definitely worthy of the 2 Rosettes that Verzon House has, if not more. The wine list is well looked after by the owner, Mr. Marks, who is quite witty and stylish for a man of his age. He know's how to look after people and makes sure that his staff is an extension of his wishes. Would love to have gone horseback riding but it was too chilly outside. They had some hunting parties that also looked quite interesting and something I would consider joining or forming if given the chance. I'm sure the kitchen would certainly know how to prepare it. I hope to return soon in the Summer to see the Westmidlands in all its blooming glory and green!!!

The decor inside is warm and cosy, modern yet reminiscent of its surroundings and very farm influenced. The bar area has roaring fires, big comfy arm chairs and sofas, beams, wooden floors.. You get the just. Absolutely great bar menu, loads of different spirits available and unique cocktails along with a couple of beers on tap. Bar staff are very friendly and worth chatting to about the drinks, where they come from, what goes best with what etc. The restaurant area was lovely and again, staff were very attentive and friendly. We started with a spiced parsnip soup topped with apple with ciabatta bread on the side, this was a huge dish which I didn't dare to finish for fear that I wouldn't be able to eat the rest of my meal. We then had the slow cooked blade of hereford beef which was cooked incredibly well. It melted in your mouth and practically fell apart if you just waved your fork at it. Very succulent and tender, brilliant cut of meat. This was paired with garlic mash, caramelised onions, baby carrots and an ale jus which all complimented the rich beef very well. A lovely main. For dessert we had the chocolate cheesecake and nectarine sorbet which was lovely but much too rich for my tastebuds. I was finished after about a mouthful !! It did go down a treat with the chocaholics amongst us however !! Of the restaurants in hereford, this is one of the finer options available. The grounds are lovely and this would be a perfect place to come day or night. However, as with everything in Hereford, this is in the middle of no where so be prepared to fork out on a cab fair to get home !
