Good quality barbecue in a buffet setup. Fried catfish, pork chops, pulled beef, pulled pork, beef ribs, steaks, a whole lot of different veggies and a salad bar that was mostly ignored by the customers. Service was quite good. Attentive at refilling drinks, maybe not as much at clearing dirty plates and cleaning tables. It didn't sit long, but it sat long enough to be noticed. While visiting family in Little Rock (Sherwood) they took us to Feastros for dinner. Wow what a pleasant surprise . The day we were there they were short staffed. We had to grab menus seating ourselves it didn't affect our experience. The environment was warm and inviting. A server came and took our drink order and they were back with our drinks without delay. Our orders for our dinner were taken and there was short delay but not too annoying for us. We understood the circumstances with the staff. When we received our orders they were all correct and hot. From the first bit I was so happy we were there the food was devine. Everyone was totally pleased with their choices. The prices were amazing for the quality and very tasty food we were serve. If you like southern food I highly recommend you go try it for yourself. read more

Oh my gosh this establishment is and will be the next Best thing in this area. When I came into this place I knew I had to try just a little bit of everything so I ordered everything. This place will be big not only is the food fantastic wonderful portion size amazing in the seasoning and flavor but the simple detail that went into the design of the restaurant really makes it not just a restaurant, but a amazing place to hang out. As one of their signs says, "It's not fast food." (Paraphrasing I'm sure.) So make a little time, place your order, and roll down the block to the ATM. As it is a cash only establishment (they'll let you do so as T.C. has also mentioned below). It's well worth the wait though, and the wait is not as long as you are thinking. While you jam out in your auto getting your karaoke on to a few songs. The people at Feastros are preparing, for your consumption, some of the most delicious home style eats of your life! I've been there twice to feed my inner fat kid, and I have yet to be disappointed. I've made my way around the menu and it's quite legit. The sides change on the daily along with the desserts. From there catfish to the pulled pork it has all been a treat for my taste buds, and I dare you to treat yours as well. I wish I knew some of the more finite details that make Feastros awesome. I use their food as more of a comfort/reward meal. So, some of the more pertinent information will escape this review. All in all though it's a great place to try great food. Keep at it Feastros. Food is EXCELLENT. The restaurant & bathrooms are very clean. Not the biggest place, but the buffet has lots to choose from, including a salad bar. There are crab legs, giant shrimp, pulled pork & beef, sausage, pork ribs, vegetables, okra, mac & cheese, catfish, frog legs, chicken, & more. The dessert bar has cake, amazing peach cobbler, fruit, banana pudding, cookies and ice cream. 3 of us ate for about $50. Totally worth it. We will be back! PS. Crab legs come out about every 20 min. Make sure you RUN when they come out bc people are rude and will completely fill their plates without leaving any left for others. read more

This place really needs to update their name to be "Feastros of Meatros" cause it's a meat buffet unlike any other. The venue is a smaller than I'm used to for buffets but it's not bad. Makes the place definitely feel a bit more intimate. The buffet line is replenished at a steady rate, enough to notice when something is missing but not slow enough that you can't finish a plate of something else before it's refilled. The best dishes I had were the catfish, meatloaf, and fried chicken. There were also fried pork chops, crawfish, baked chicken, shredded beef, pulled pork...truly a meat fiesta. I am not even a fan of catfish but this place does something special to theirs making it a requirement for any plate I ate while there. The sides options in my mind were more limited, not a bad thing in my mind but not good if you want something more than meat. Mac & cheese, greens, mixed veggies, mashed potatoes, and a half salad bar rounded out the rest of the dinner buffet. Though for a 'Southern cuisine' restaurant I would figure it to carry mac & cheese casserole instead of the creamy stuff, but to each their own...I'll just have more fried catfish. The desserts are a range of hot water cornbread, watermelon, and jello I believe. I'm not a fan of desserts so I can't really speak to them but they looked ok. Everything I sampled on the buffet was amazing! Everything was hot, fresh, and not overly salty like at Golden Corral or other chain places. The spareribs are the best ribs you'll find on a buffet in the area, period. Fried shrimp, pork loin, fried chicken, pulled pork and chopped beef were other standouts. You cannot leave without trying the banana pudding. They could use a bigger sign, I've driven past this area many times and never knew they were there. First time at Feastros tonight, but we will be back. Service was friendly and prompt, and food was above the usual buffet standard. All the meats my spouse and I ate were very tasty, moist, properly prepared, and served hot. BBQ pulled pork and ribs were tender and smoky. Catfish was great, as was the fried chicken. Most of the sides were good but predictable. Even the fried okra, which looked over-cooked from the heat lamp was surprisingly good. The sole exception was the mixed vegetable dish, which was limp and bland. Salad bar was pretty predictable, but adequate. Their sauce is effin amazing, I haven't ventured into the other selection of menu items because the Feastros pulled pork sandwich has my mouth watering just thinking about it. They're back in the little red building in the parking lot of dollar general or across the street from a body shop and car wash stalls. They are very courteous and have always been a god loving family through thick and thin. The bad: No card reader, no place to sit and enjoy ur food & no drink choices. I've gone here twice now and got the pork sandwich each time. Excellent quality! My wife and I both love it. There are some great side dishes as well, and the peach cobbler is remarkable. This is definitely worth a stop. One side note, their number is no longer listed as far as I know. You'll have to stop there and ask for a phone number if you want to call ahead next time. Also, they seem to have odd hours. However, if I see the open sign lit up outside, I will continue stopping to try new things. I don't think the service is too slow. Both times I've stopped, I've gone across the parking lot to get my kids food ( they don't like BBQ, wth?!), and the food has been ready upon return. No complaints. read more

Today I visited Feastros again to give it a second chance, after receiving a personal invite from the owner. Very nice, clean and updated family dinning area. I tried the pork chops, brown beans, greens, and cornbread. I could have just had a large bowl of brown beans, so very good. We must have caught them on a off day or something.. Should have known something was up when the credit card machine wasn't working. Ended up paying cash Anyway. They have a nice size buffet with all the usual suspects. A salad bar section, a desert section and maybe 3 or 4 other meat and veggie sections. I guess we went during the wrong part of lunch because none of the food seemed fresh or restocked. And the on BBQ on the buffet was either chopped beef or pork. In fact the best thing they had on the buffet was the hot water cornbread that was cold. The deserts were solid but over all it will be a while before we come back. I would rate this place 10 stars if I could. The staff is very friendly and put out fresh food on the buffet throughout most of the day. The food itself is delicious. I fell in love with their fried catfish, baked chicken, greens, corn, and the crawfish. The also have a wide variety of dessert to finish off your meal. The price is very reasonable for the quality, service, and overall atmosphere. I'm definitely impressed with the renovation which include more seating, expanded buffet station, and a separate to go area. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would recommend anybody who's in the mood for some down home southern cooking. I promise you will not be disappointed! read more
