Food mediocre at best I had the brisket it was finely chopped and fatty it tasted old and like it was heated on the griddle top. I ate 1/3 of it. Loaded potato salad was meh I ate 1/3 of it. Baked beans also a dud. My grandson didn't like any of my food either. Grandson had chicken and waffles he liked both. His food was the better of our meals. Daughter had the loaded baked potato she said it was okay. Wife had grilled cheese and fries. Fries were very basic frozen crinkle cut and not crispy. Grilled cheese was okay. Overall we were unimpressed. Service was good. Ambiance was just old country diner style needed a good cleaning. So if you decide to go the only thing I can suggest is the chicken strips. read more

I can say I have wanted to try this place for some time. Now this evening I did & both my wife & I wished we wouldn't have. Wife had ribs she said had no seasoning or flavor & we're tough to eat. We were excited to try this place as there aren't many other restaurants near our campground. We were looking forward to our meal but after we ordered and I noticed the absolutely disgusting condiment bottles on our table, I honestly just wanted to leave because if they are ok with serving those, I can't imagine what the kitchen looks like. I went to 2 other tables for better ketchup bottles and they were just as bad. I'm pretty sure there was mold in the hot sauce bottle. We got our food to go and haven't been able to bring ourselves to eat it but seriously why would a restaurant think this is ok? read more

Went to Scott's Station and was pleased with the selection of different menus items. We got onion rings as a starter. They were OK. After much consideration I landed on the BBQ bacon Burger. Very flavorful however I had approximately 3 bites before total detonation of the bun. Fries were reg. crinkle cut fries. My wife had the hamburger steak with twice baked potato salad. Also was OK. Dessert menu was simple and I opted for the bread pudding. This is where the minus 2 stars come in. It wasn't done and the sugar in the praline sauce was crunchy. I've heard how great this restaurant is from multiple people, and all the praise is correct. All the foods I tried were delicious with huge portions! The brisket was moist, the catfish was crispy, the baked beans were sweet, and the mac-n-cheese was creamy. The appetizer brisket nachos are by far the best in my opinion. Their queso is amazing! Honestly I can't imagine something of theirs not tasting good. The service was great even on a busy Saturday lunch rush. read more

This place once had great barbecue. I don't know what they have done but it was absolutely inedible yesterday. Tasted like it had freezer burn and seemed to have a ground texture. It wasn't pulled pork. It seemed like mystery meat. I have never had a pulled pork sandwich that bad in my life. When this place was Seatons, the food was fresh, smoky flavored and pulled and the bbq sauce was great. Not now. The sauce, the meat- just awful. And the fries were undercooked. Seriously, how does a restaurant screw up fries? The raccoons ate it instead. Not me. never will I or my family return (we have eaten here over 80 times and in the last 4 years it has gone downhill for sure. Not worth the money or the drive. read more

The potato salad was warm, and while it had a good taste, I was scared to eat it. How long has it been left out of refrigeration to reach a warm temperature? THE BEST FOOD IN SCOTT!! The service is quick and the waiters are kind and welcoming. It's also very kid friendly. The atmosphere makes it fell like home. Interstate traveling and gas station food gets REAL old. We were in search of a place where we could taste decent food and relax a minute...and found ourselves at Scott Station. We were greeted at the door by Mr. Lou, who also turned out to be the chef. The whole vibe was laidback, home-town friendly and comfortable. The waitress was happy to help guide us to a few choice selections...and I'm glad we listened. Takeaway: try anything Mr. Lou is smoking. Ribs, chicken, brisket. Just trust me. Dang good sides, too. A hidden gem. We were traveling from Little Rock to Toltec to see the Indian mounds. We spotted a little BBQ place called Seaton's Scott Place in Scott AR. I ordered a BBQ pork sandwich. It was finely shredded and chopped, topped with sauce and mustard slaw. I wasn't sure about slaw on my sandwich but found it to be a delicious combination. Our daughter got the smoked turkey sandwich and raved over the taste of the turkey. We topped off the meal with an apple fried pie - a treat. The restaurant is located about 15 miles north east of Little Rock and is definitely worth the trip. read more

I came here on my lunch break and was really disappointed. I got the loaded nachos but swapped the chips for fries. When I opened the box I was impressed by the beginning presentation. But as I dug in my hopes and dreams of it tasting as good as it looked faded away into deep disappointment. There was absolutely no flavor to this meal at all. This a a fairly new restaurant to the area - joining the already famous Cothams and Charlottes Eats and Sweets down the road. Scott place is a good additional to that prestigious group.
