    Old, dirty and quite disgusting
    Jamie B.

We were excited to try this place as there aren't many other restaurants near our campground. We were looking forward to our meal but after we ordered and I noticed the absolutely disgusting condiment bottles on our table, I honestly just wanted to leave because if they are ok with serving those, I can't imagine what the kitchen looks like. I went to 2 other tables for better ketchup bottles and they were just as bad. I'm pretty sure there was mold in the hot sauce bottle. We got our food to go and haven't been able to bring ourselves to eat it but seriously why would a restaurant think this is ok?

Went to Scott's Station and was pleased with the selection of different menus items. We got onion rings as a starter. They were OK. After much consideration I landed on the BBQ bacon Burger. Very flavorful however I had approximately 3 bites before total detonation of the bun. Fries were reg. crinkle cut fries. My wife had the hamburger steak with twice baked potato salad. Also was OK. Dessert menu was simple and I opted for the bread pudding. This is where the minus 2 stars come in. It wasn't done and the sugar in the praline sauce was crunchy. Ambiance is nice and service was great tho.

I've heard how great this restaurant is from multiple people, and all the praise is correct. All the foods I tried were delicious with huge portions! The brisket was moist, the catfish was crispy, the baked beans were sweet, and the mac-n-cheese was creamy. The appetizer brisket nachos are by far the best in my opinion. Their queso is amazing! Honestly I can't imagine something of theirs not tasting good. The service was great even on a busy Saturday lunch rush.

Fried Shrimp, onion rings, tater salad and hush puppies!

Great food, laid back and service on top of everything! A+ The Zydeco Salad was very filling and of course we had the cheese dip as an appetizer!

Really good place in Scott Arkansas. Ribs were super tender, beans and slaw very good. No complaints about the service and the Curve Market is right next door.

Delicious food! Excellent service and a family fun atmosphere. The owners kept the charm of Seaton's BBQ and added their own Cajun twist. With home grown veggies, and recipes made from scratch it's a southern delight!

THE BEST FOOD IN SCOTT!! The service is quick and the waiters are kind and welcoming. It's also very kid friendly. The atmosphere makes it fell like home. They have the best sweet tea on this side of the Mississippi. The owners are some of the nicest people i've ever met! You have to try the cheese dip cause it's the legitimately the best! The curve market is soo cute and has some of the best natural stuff in the world! The curve market also has loblolly ice cream! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!

Still good and great service. Warm in here today. AC not keeping up. We had the BBQ sandwich and catfish and they were both very good.

I happened to drive by this place a couple of weeks ago and I flashed back to the one time that I visited. The memory that came to mind was a positive one. It's been almost four years and I can still remember what I ate, because it was that good. From what I remember, the service is kind of a high school lunchroom type where you go through and pick out the food that you want. Then you grab a table with your food. From what I remember, the place was clean, quiet, and very family friendly. I wouldn't have a problem taking anything from a date to a newborn baby here. I will admit that I have particularly fond memories of this place that might be skewing my review just a tad. But either way, I will make an effort to go back there the next time I'm anywhere close to Conway.

It had been several years since I had been there, but it was just as delicious as I remembered! It was well worth the drive to experience the warm country, laid-back vibe of years gone by. Remember the days when you had to make reservations and order your slice of pie before you got there? No more. Here's the issues...the food. I used to LOVE the Keo Classic. Now its avocado slices are too thin, the parmesan coating wasnt as crispy, and it wasnt warmed up enough. And...its about $5 more than it used to be. Next, the pie. It used to be just flawless, perfect smoothness of filling and nice high meringue. The meringue was still very good. However, the filling was floury tasting. It either had too much or wasnt cooked long enough. I lacked the decadence and creaminess of pies of the past. I can tell why it wasnt that crowded. Its just not the same and not an improvement. Maybe the new owners will take these comments to heart and fill the ultra quaint little cafe again.

Excellent food in a cute building on a Sunday Afternoon... what more could you want?…read more I won't lie, Sundays are REALLY busy at this place and we waited on the waitlist for not a short amount of time. But the food here is always worth it. I love the french toast biscuit sandwich. My mom had the shrimp scramble, my friend had the Winchester. They both understood the hype. The portions of food are pretty good. We also had beignets to start and they were yummy!!! If you can be a little patience and don't mind parking in a precarious spot (parking extremely limited around here) then you should definitely go!

Our server, Day, started our morning with a genuine ray of sunshine--warm, cheerful, and attentive without hovering. She set the tone for what turned out to be a fantastic meal. The coffee arrived piping hot, just the way it should be. My pancake was wonderfully sweet with a hint of vanilla, and the scrambled eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly--simple, classic, and done right. Terri ordered one of the spicier dishes and declared it "delicious" before finishing every bite. The wait was minimal, even during a busy time, and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. The acoustics were okay--you can chat easily without shouting, or just enjoy people-watching if that's your thing. We left full, and happy. Highly recommended.

This time around I asked the girl at the counter what her favorite dish was and she said, "shrimp kabobs." I was sold. SO GLAD I LISTENED!!!! These are THE most flavorful kabobs I've ever had, and they are accompanied by some of the best rice and beans I've ever had. I was fully expecting beans and rice Mexican-style since the place is owned-operated by mi gente, but it was a more Cajun-style brand and rice. These beans and rice are so damn good. I just can't. These kabobs are perfectly seasoned with fresh lemons, tomatoes, onions, and zucchini. It's is CLEAR they make these to order, so when you get it expect a wait...that will be well worth it. Yeah, I take back my last review. You don't come to a place like this in central Arkansas and order oysters. That was dumb. This, however, is the best decision I've made this trip. Hands down.

The setup tells you everything you need to know before eating: paper towel roll on the table, hot sauce lineup, Lance saltines, and a soundtrack of Lightin' Hopkins and Son House fill the room. The chairs look like they escaped from a 1950s diner and that's how everyone likes it. The catfish is the real deal -- cornmeal-crusted, perfectly seasoned, tender inside with just the right snap on the outside. The shrimp are butterflied, large, perfectly breaded, and fried with the same care. Hush puppies that are neither greasy nor dense, which sounds simple until you realize how rarely anyone gets it right. There's a New Orleans soul to this place, and some Memphis too, but nothing precious about it. No one here is performing. Farmers, families, folks still in their work clothes. The people who cook this food grew up eating it every Sunday at grandma's table, and it shows in every basket. If mudbugs are still on the menu when you visit, don't overthink it. Order them. The Flying Fish isn't trying to be anything. That's exactly why it's everything.
