Date of visit: October 18, 2025…read more Selections: Numerous to the point of being overwhelmed Experience: We visited this place right before we left for the airport and I regret leaving this for last because we bought so many treats that we had to reconfigured into our suitcases. This places literally had rows and rows of eateries and places to get treats, snacks, and goodies. It was pretty crowded when we went and I'm not sure if it was because it's been hyped up as a place to visit or because of the No Kings Parade that had just ended around the time that we got there. We went down each and every aisle and I had to resist the temptation to have a second lunch because of all the variety of foods offered, including Filipino food that my husband actually ended up getting food from. We mostly leaned into getting sweets from various booths to enjoy on the way to the airport/at the airport as well as ones to take home to enjoy. I wish I could've brought cheese home, but for sure it wouldn't have lasted or held well. There was a discount with parking at the Hilton if we made a purchase, but couldn't figure that out, so ended up paying full price when exiting the parking structure. Would definitely come back again to actually eat there!

The food options are unmatched. No matter what you're craving, comfort food, international flavors, baked goods, or fresh produce, there's always something that hits the spot. Everything is consistently fresh, flavorful, and made with care, and it's easy to try something new each time while still going back to old favorites. The service across the vendors is always solid. Even when the market is busy, staff members are efficient, friendly, and clearly know what they're doing. You can tell many of them take pride in their craft, whether they're cooking, baking, or serving customers. The ambiance is what really sets Reading Terminal Market apart. It's lively, energetic, and full of character. The mix of locals, tourists, and longtime vendors gives the space a special kind of authenticity that you just don't get anywhere else. Yes, it can be crowded but that's part of the charm and a sign of how beloved the market is. Reading Terminal Market has been operating since 1893, making it one of the oldest continuously operating public markets in the U.S. and you can truly feel that history in every corner. Reading Terminal Market continues to deliver a great experience every time: amazing food, dependable service, and an atmosphere that feels uniquely Philadelphia. A must-visit and a must-return spot.

One of the hallmarks of the event is that we break the attendees up in smaller groups for meetings around town. I am so glad I discovered Tomato Catering. First, the food is fresh and delicious. It has that made from scratch with love and care feel. Over the years I have ordered the Nonna's Chicken, the Fajita Bar, Chicken Marsala, the Mediterranean bar, and a bunch of their salads. Our attendees love it. As the event coordinator, the next most important thing aside from taste and quality is meeting dietary needs of our guests. The Tomato Catering team is excellent here. All of their signage is clear and their dressings are vegan and again good. Super helpful. When you speak to their team whether it's Camille at their HQ or Jan at the West Chester location who made the food, they are extremely professional, on it, and and will make sure things are clarified so you never feel worried. We were able to coordinate delivery to each of our locations and their team setup the meals beautifully. Whether you are planning a personal event or a corporate meal like I was, I would absolutely recommend Tomato Catering without any reservations. They will be my first call again next year when we host our event back in West Chester.

No doubt about it, this spot is a 5/5. We picked up 1 full Adranos, half a fig pig, and half a…read moreFranklin. As soon as I opened up the adranos, I noticed the sesame seeds were super aromatic coming off the bread. The sandwich itself was delicious although I would have liked slightly more oil & vinegar. The franklin was the favorite of the 3 sandwiches we tried. The turkey was really good and I loved the bacon jam with arugula pairing. The fig pig was also good but a little heavy on the cheese. It was sweeter than the Franklin even though both had jam. The prosciutto was god tier. Really meaty and moist. While I was waiting for my sandwich I noticed 4 other people come in and order the fig pig! The cashier told me that the Franklin is one of the most popular. Service was very friendly and ingredients are fresh & high quality. Inside is small- just a counter to order with the sandwich making station behind it. There's also a small market. There were a couple of small outdoor tables which was nice. I'd come back in a heartbeat.

The bacon jam on the Franklin really stood out and made it memorable. The shop itself has fun offerings to peruse while you wait for your order and the staff was chatty so what little waiting you do isn't bad at all. The prices seemed reasonable, especially for what you get.
