We get our Cedar Creek fix at the Media Farmer's Market (every Sunday through November from 10 AM - 1 PM - after that twice a month). Mike who works with Mr. Deery is a sweetheart and the tomato pie is my boyfriend's favorite. I love the beignets (NOLA style) but I gotta go easy. We visit Cedar Creek catering at the Splash Club. Absolutely unacceptable experience. We waited an hour in 90-degree heat for our food, only to be told it had likely been given to someone else. No one informed us until we asked, and the response was shockingly casual. They said they'd remake it and it would be "just a few more minutes"--but 15 minutes later, still nothing. I spoke to the manager, CJ and all he said was, "That should have taken 5 minutes, sorry," with a shrug. No real apology, no accountability--he honestly seemed like he couldn't care less. After sitting there sweating for well over an hour and a half, we left hungry and frustrated. This is not our first negative experience there. We have had countless bad experiences this summer with their catering at Splash ClubZero sense of customer service. We will absolutely not be returning. read more

I have now tried the brisket from Cedar Creek 3 times and my nephew (and +1) have had the tomato pie twice. The nephew raves about the tomato pie. But I keep having other worldly experiences each time I get the amazing brisket. Did I say I like it? No, because I am way beyond liking the brisket. The brisket is melt in your mouth tender with fantastic flavor. Rumor is they are working on perfecting burnt ends - please don't or I may need to move to Media. They participate in the Media Farmers Market or you can order online and pick it up at their kitchen (which is what I just did). The price of brisket is absolutely reasonable - especially given the quality. The Cedar Creek team is friendly, knowledgable, and helpful (and happy). read more

This place started out okay, I went to see it she made good recommendation on me renting the church. Also it saved me money . My wedding was booked for September 21, 2024 and payments for me started but as you no things happen in life. I was involved in a hit n run on city line ave which cause a bad accident where I almost lost my life. where I had to pay outta pocket for because of the insurance I had at the time that was 4000 dollars in damage. I took from my wedding fund. Which I communicated with the coordinator which she was very understanding once life things was over I started making 800 , 700 dollar payments she also worked a deal with me for time of decorating. Well I thought she was super cool now fast forward to my wedding I called her after and told her thank you for everything by the way she pressed me to get event insurance and I couldn't have my event with out it . So once I talk to her telling her bout my wedding day and how it was good and little things that happen she goes to say how the person that clean was angry and mad as if I trash the place . Telling me oh my people you thought was your friend was not treating u right and oh they did u wrong these the same ppl that stayed and help me clean gave money towards my wedding and did a lot for me she goes to say she's taking a claim out on me for the carpet and how she's not returning my security deposit because I told her a lot of things she said I felt she was being races because if I wasn't black she wouldn't have said those things to me even tho I didn't spend what she think I should for my wedding I still spent 18,000 on my wedding . Here are the pictures of her saying I trash the place I also paid 2200 for this hall and suppose to get 500 bck that she won't give because she charging me for water bartenders I hired left and some cake that got on the wall and carpet someone spilled a drink and the trash dumpster was full and they thought us people in suit and gowns should push it down to add trash but we moved the trash to the door for them to take out because it was full . Also is picture of how it was decorated to show u I cleaned up she also left nothing for us to clean with when I told her I tried to u the vacuum she ask me why u don't need to do that but tell me last time carpets cost 2000 to clean it's been over 3weeks and still no contact to give me my money. I also asked the coordinator to talk to the owner she said no and I also told her I was coming to see the damage she said No it's already cleaned up then I said well I wanna see the carpet she almost name the whole day of the week that nobody will be there and that she don't no when they will . Now I feel I'm being lied to . She also tried to say someone took something out the kitchen that I rented 150 dollars for from a rental company . I'm just so unhappy with this outcome people wanted to use the place I had thinking it was so nice because they didn't no it was even there I had to tell them no way I will let them go threw my outcome I had to show them the emails she wrote I will never ever again recommend read more

We had a great experience at fellowship hall and cedar creek catering. CJ was lovely to work with, especially during this unpredictable Covid situation. We were able to host a wedding shower with social distancing, tables spread apart and just 6 per table. The food was great and it was a nice escape from the heat being able to cool down indoors. Cedar Creek catered our Thanksgiving this year. Delicious is an understatement. Although everything was great, I found myself gravitating towards the sides. The stuffing was unbelievable! The creamed spinach was the best I have ever had. I couldn't stop eating it. The show stopper was the roasted fingerling potatoes with bacon and blue cheese. I could have just had a bowl of those and been very happy. We will definitely be using them for our next event. read more

About 6 weeks prior to my July wedding date, it was cancelled at the venue and we had to start everything from scratch and move to a backyard venue. I reached out to dozens of caterers. I was recommended cedar creek catering from my sister in law who often used them for events for different organizations she was involved in. Cedar creek was by far the most accommodating and imaginative in accomplishing the wedding of my dreams. CJ, the owner and executive chef, helped us with creating a great flow and achieving the "cocktail hour" style wedding we were looking for while also not breaking the bank. And they pretty much took care of everything. I had very little to be concerned about. Chrysta, the event coordinator, went even more above and beyond. She gave great ideas on how to make the best use of space and helped us construct the site from scratch- while also allowing for social distancing and keeping the event "COVID". She spent hours upon hours leading up to the wedding creating a magical venue. She was so meticulous in every fine detail. Food: we did a combination of passed appetizers and stations. The charcuterie station was beautifully presented and they made it Covid friendly with individually portioned cheeses, meats, and dips with reduced contact. The lamb chops and lobster roll appetizers were outstanding. The cheesesteak spring rolls and crab cakes were phenomenal. And the shrimp cucumber bites were delicious and refreshing. We had a prepared short rib and chicken with roasted potatoes and vegetables-and they were all so delicious. Chicken can be pretty basic and simple- CJ managed to make it unreal and tasty and the short rib was mouthwatering. He also created these amazing and creative flatbreads which were just incredible. People kept going back for seconds and thirds - and we couldn't decide which was our favorite because it was all so incredible. I wanted a late night meal for everyone so asked CJ to prepare individually wrapped cheesesteaks. BEST decision by far... my husband and I have tons of cheesesteaks snobs and connoisseurs in our family. 4 months later- people still are talking about how that was the best cheesesteak they've ever had. I alone ate 5 in one sitting because they were addicting! I still think about calling CJ up to ask him to make some more. Outstanding!!!! Service: They took care of the chefs, servers and attendants. We wanted specific bartenders who we hired separately. But Chrysta did an amazing job coordinating and managing them- as well as managed the remaining vendors (photo/video/flowers/bakery/rentals). I didn't have to worry about a thing. There were hiccups with some vendors- and she made it so seamless that I didn't even know any of it happened. The servers were professional (masked) and made sure that every guest was attended to. They did a great job of working all areas and keeping everything so clean. I appreciate them so much and they were all incredibly courteous. Chrysta I can't say enough about! She made sure that my cake was cut on time, had my toasting flutes ready and on stand by for us, and was so detail oriented. All with a huge smile on her face! CJ checked on us to make sure we ate and prepared my groom and me an incredible table to take a moment to ourselves and to enjoy a beautifully plated meal. At the end of the night they had everything cleaned up and the leftover food Wrapped up for us to enjoy the next day. Also - for my surprise bridal shower, CJ prepared a delicious brunch including bagels, frittatas, chicken piccata (I still dream about it). It was phenomenal. I still to this day am receiving tons of compliments regarding the food and service at my shower and wedding. And it's all because of CJ, Chrysta, and the amazing group at Cedar Creek! CJ and Chrysta and all of the amazing staff- thank you SO much for all of the time you spent on my wedding. Thank you for being so kind to us, answering my millions of calls and texts, and for taking so much off my plate and creating such an amazing event.
